I stacked up $80k on STNA wages! I’m trying to go hard once I get this LPN. Then relax.

Completing my LPN to RN now. I cannot wait for the opportunity to be in the OR, be in dialysis or work with ventilators.

@@KayDejaVu That’s what’s up! I wish you the best. I’ve heard Dialysis nurses say they will never go back to bedside because it’s better than bedside at a hospital or nursing home.

Damn Cj I really needed this Ted Talk. I used to really get to it. But I slacked and have been unmotivated with every why in the world. This has lit a fire under me. Thank you! P.S. I'm still waiting to purchase your LTC course. 🙂

My mom has been a broke nurse for over 20-30 years and she’s almost 60 years old. No savings, no retirement plan.. nothing. She never opens her bills or pay off her credit cards. Credit score is in the TRASH. All of the money she made went to expensive things that were above her pay grade.. She’s currently an LPN going for her RN and she thinks that it’s going to give her a new lifestyle.. but in reality she’s going to become an even poorer nurse because she can’t manage her finances.. I’m in school for my LPN and I use her as an example for what not to do with my finances..

I agree. Believe it or not especially in the African American community we need this. Even when African Americans are successful financially….that doesn’t always mean that they will teach this to their children. I experienced that myself. I had to learn everything about credit, budgeting, saving, etc on my own. It’s very sad. This is a great idea CJ. Because had I had someone to teach me a bit earlier I wouldn’t have had to go through some of the things that I did.
This would help people with or without children.

Stay in Michigan. You can actually dress for the weather. In the south you can't. You could be in a thong and be outside for 3 minutes and still get swamp ass.
20 minutes later after going back inside, to cool down.

Wealth building for nurses??? Great idea ! Starting from ground zero ??? Even better idea. Our answer to financial issues is always.... I'll just pick up an extra shift.
