Boondooking (Free Camping) at Wall South Dakota Badlands-How bad are the roads?

Video will show one how to reach The Wall, dispersed boondock camp spot in Badlands SD and how difficult the road conditions are for camping on the cliffs. Will you RV, Van, Car, Truck make it to these cliffs okay?

My husband and I just got home from this area. We’ve camped out here twice in the last 2 years.
The month of May was a bit windy, rainy and cool - the roads were a little muddy but no problems entering or exiting. It’s a fantastic spot for disbursed camping.

Can you run a generator.

I did not see any restrictions using a generator when I was there several years ago.

I’ve not had issues. Campers are usually pretty good and watch out for one another. In July there was a lot of campers on the rim. You are not alone.
