I’ve seen a lot of bears on the trails. Bears tend to give you space when they hear you. Moose on the other hand. Uhhh. 😳. They scare me more.

Thanks. Yeah. Looks like in your videos there was a lot of rain. Wet gear is not fun. You also had a leaking tent. Uhhh. Hard to get sleep when that occurs. I’ve been there. Weather was pretty good when I was there in Sept. love the place. 👍👍

@@MoutainGuyAdventures I had a tarp tent with me too on that trip but no 'skeeter net so we just settled on some day hikes.

@@MoutainGuyAdventures As for the leaky tent, I knew better, having always done backyard sprinkler tests on my tents over the years. But not this time, Nooooo; Big Agnes had always come through, that is until the tent got to be 12 years old. Switched off to a Z-packs Altaplex after that.

Actually. This is in Lamar Valley. No buses. Takes some effort to get to though, which keeps the crowds away. 👍👍

Wow. 10 days. That had to be awesome. I was hoping to head back there this Sept for a backpack trip, but ended up with other hiking plans now. I’ll go back next year instead.

@@MoutainGuyAdventures Thanks for the reply and comments. And thanks for checking out my GRL video from a few years ago. I would not leave home here in the southeast without my FJC. It's taken me to so many great places in Colorado and Wyoming. Headed to Colorado in late September with it and my ALiner. The burger place "The Place" is easy to miss, we just happened to see a bunch of vehicles parked out front and stopped in to see what was going on. Safe travels and great mountain adventures!

@MoutainGuyAdventures ..I grew up in nakusp and moved just outside of vernon. Spent the last 7 years working in and around kelowna, but things got too crazy so I sold everything and moved to Europe.

@Truthspreader70 Nice. I’ve not been back to Kelowna in a long time. It was not too big when I was a kid.

@MoutainGuyAdventures I had my own drywall company and watched the valley slowly get more and more people. Made an excellent living, but it's too overcrowded and the prices of things are retarded. When I left in 2021, there were 7 new hi rises and 10 more on the books.
