I’ve been riding a lifefitness IC6 at the gym with the peloton app. I’ve been looking at a ton of bikes, and I can’t afford the one at the gym, they’re really pricey lol. I considered the peloton itself, but also expensive. My biggest issue is not being able to try the bikes before buying. I’ve found a local fitness store that sells these, so I’m heading out Wednesday to check it out, and it’s now $599 US. Your review has gotten me really interested. I almost ordered the diamondback 1260 spin bike, but i really want to check this one out first. Thank you for your excellent review.

As usual, TOP NOTCH review! I get the impression you enjoy a challenge, have you ever tried roller trainers? To be clear, the ones you ride you actual bike on, unsupported, you have to balance you bike on spinning rolling pins that you power. If not, check them out. I built some to ride my mtb on. If you can go 20 min your a beast! Totally changes your spin and balance, if you run your tires a little soft, it’s like riding on beach sand, constantly.

yes, that is correct. Apologies I didn't make it clear in the video. I'll admit I was surprised I couldn't just jump on and use it as a regular exercise bike. The app controls the resistance.

@@ktpuss I highly recommend the IC1.5! - It makes no noise at all. Magnetic resistance is the way to go. - Anyone who tries it comments on how smoothly it pedals. - Solid build quality. Mostly metal. Nothing rattles. - Easy to move. Has wheels so you can roll it. - Small footprint . About 24"X48" - I contacted "service@inspirefitness.net" to purchase an extra pair of bearings just to have them. They sent them to me for free. - Having the choice of apps is really nice. I added the Wahoo RPM Speed and Cadence sensors and use Zwift. watch?v=rLTrbmgX4Xw - The official "Inspire Fitness" app connects to the bikes bluetooth no problem but I only used it for the trial month to see if it worked. Hope this helps!

@@LauraTryUK Hi Laura. The bike is ok but the app crashes often. They cater more for the US market but are looking to introduce a London studio soon. Hopefully that will improve everything. The customer service side is terrible. I think they may have grown quicker than anticipated in the UK. I will keep an eye out for your other videos.

How much is the app cost like to use there classes and rides ? I’m not sure if I missed in video I may have . Like peloton has to be like $40 a month for there bike one
Hey again, another great question - the classes (UK time) are from 7am until the evening. There were a few gaps where there was no classes but I never struggled to find anything. If I did, I joined an On Demand Class 👍🏼
music sounds 😖 AND not a good beat to keep rhythm with, imo! You did say there are different genre's though, so could be something there (I would think) is worth exercising to? 🤷♂️
@@Hellokinni Great question! It will show all the stats on the screen (resistance, cadence, output etc like I showed in the video) but it will not track your rides in the Progress Tab.
@@LauraTryUK I've done some Les Mills classes and they want you to change resistance from like a flat road to max resistance out of the saddle. These intervals are very short , like 10 seconds. This means, I would need multiple turns to get to really high resistance.this could be an inconvenience I think. I used a life fitness ic7 bike and that bike goes from 0 to 100% resistance in one knob turn. It's super easy to adjust and don't need to spin the knob multiple times. Thanks

The Echelon classes rarely (in fact, never) go from 0 to 32 - it is usually gradual, increasing perhaps 3-5 levels in any one time. if there is a max interval then the instructor says to increase cadence to a certain number as opposed to cranking the resistance. I hope that helps.
Converting Euros to Dollars.....So..you spend 1400$ on an exercise bike, then you have to spend another 60$ a month to use the app...??????? You know what you can do with your ridiculously EXPENSIVE bike......SHOVE IT WHERE THE SUN DON'T SHINE!

Is this for the EX3 or the EX5? I see your bike has water bottle holders which doesn't appear to be a feature on the EX3 (per the website).
