I'm a Stacker of all types of silver (and a fair bit of gold) and I've got several thousand mercury and barber dimes. Until I watched this video I've
not really thought of doing anything with them other than just storing in my vault for a rainy SHTF day. That was one handsome necklace. You turned junk silver into something really special. With just this one video, I've hit the Subscrbe button. I'll probably end up binge watching many more of your videos. Thanks for sharing.
Maybe I could someday send you a British gold Sovereign to make into a ring?

Kind of off topic but the thought came to me.. have you, or do You think you can use the center knock outs from the coins to make some type of claw settings for gems? Would be cool to keep even the tiny elements coin related and i have not yet seen or herd of anyone doing it. My thoughts are that should be more than possible.

My heart just sank watching that chain go into the acid to make it dark. It should have gone to a tumbler for a mirror polish. Shiny coins look better than dirty coins. When it is on your neck, it just looks dirty, and unfortunately, like cheap metal, especially with the insides of the links uncleaned.
