    Thanks buddy you've got new subscriber. Your video really helped me and i changed both front and back tyres of my mt15 and felt the difference drastically. I think it'll last for about 20000kms on mt15

    Thanks bruh,I followed all the videos on Apollo and brass plated chain sprocket which cleared my confusion, finally I have decided to buy Apollo as well as brass plated chain sprocket for my rc390. 😊

    17500kms that too in 300cc segment is something really impressive. I've already clocked 15k kms in my R15v3 and I'm pretty sure that it'll clock another 10k kms for sure. These tyres are really bang for the bucks.
    I wish you can try the Vredestein tyres next time.

    • @ArunKR46
      @ArunKR46 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Vredestein is also good, but the problem is it starts with 120 size(from memory😅)...so one should be ready to upsize the front tyre..

      Yea... I will have to upsize front and back and it's super expensive. Probably makes sense for bigger 600cc bikes.

    Great ownership review!
    I've heard that Apollo Alpha H1 is heavier when compared to other brands which makes slow speed turning cumbersome.

    • @HighwayToHill
      @HighwayToHill  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Slightly heavy... Yes. And considering that it's rotating mass. Can be felt. Half a kg plus or minus might also matter.
      Thanks a lot! 😎🙏

    I'm on the fence regarding the weight difference from stock tyres. Is the weight difference significant enough to affect performance? I'm currently running Michelin pilot street radials.

    • @HighwayToHill

      No... It didn't affect the performance or mileage on my bike.

    • @HighwayToHill
      @HighwayToHill  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well, I don't have a number to explain this. I tried to show how the tyres appear visually. Front can still go on... it hasn't even touched the indicators. Rear tyre has already lost some siping, already touched the indicator marks and become flat at the center.

    I have a 2017 model 390 Duke however I've only completed 9168 kms till now as I am not into touring..I just do high speed weekend highway rides
    Metzeler M5 have been phenomenal, due to lockdown in 2020 my bike was standing for a long time without any ride which eventually resulted in micro tear/crack on both front and back tyre.
    I also have a 790 Duke which I bought in Mar 2020 but due to BS4 supreme court dispute I only got the delivery on this bike on 25-DEC-21 - I have done 1100 kms on this with stock maxxis trye - already had my firsr punchure in the rear tyre
    So net net I know I am not going to be touring as of now where I travel or ride for days together hence I am thinking of getting any of the following tyres for my 390 Duke
    1. Metzelet M5
    2. Pirelli Rosso 2
    3. Michellin Road
    What would you suggest?

    • @HighwayToHill
      @HighwayToHill  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you're not touring, my top pick will be Pirelli Diablo Rosso 2. It's a more rounded profile which may take a while to get used to. But so far it's been my favourite tyre. Super sticky. You can explore new limits on your bike with these tyres. Thanks for sharing your experience. Cheers!
