I'm sure I'm just scratching the surface though and that there must be more pitfalls than I can see at a surface level. Edit: To be clear, buying say a block of 4 or more apartments, not individual apartments. Especially in more regional areas like Cairns. Can buy for the same price as a house in Melbourne.
