If your Windows 10 computer is stuck in a continuous endless reboot loop problem after an Upgrade, a Windows Update or Reset or a Blue Screen, then this post gives you some ideas on how to deal with the problem. Before your computer restart, it may or may not display any message.

Disconnecting the USB devise and restarting fixed the problem for me.

Well I was going from Windows 8 to 10 and I got stuck and removing the drive saved my computer yay!!!
I did not experience this problem on newer or recent systems but only experienced this problem On an old motherboard like Asus P5G41T M- LX3. after booting from USB and installation, the computer would restart and take me back to language and region selection screen again. At first I thought the installation had corrupt files or didn't go well. So I repeated the same process of installation a couple more times. But later I selected "repair my computer" and shut down my pc. Then I booted it up again after removing the USB and windows 10 just ran normally.

Leave usb plugged in...delete partitions. Select unallocable disk & let it start installing. When it's done and going to restart unplug the usb. It also worked for me. Hope this helps anyone struggling.
Removing the USB Stick when you get the restart screen worked for me!
Means after u install windows 10 files and when you get restart screen then u removed ur USB and let the process go??? Pls do reply.
I am installing windows 7 on Macbook but after restart countdown , i can see a white screen only! Please help!
Guys for those who still get "Windows cannot find boot device" after removing the usb. Press F12 during restart screen to open boot options and select the drive you installed windows in. It happens because you have multiple disk drives and motherboard cannot pick a boot device because we selected the usb. You just need to press F12 during restart screen and choose your windows disk as boot option.

@@griffins_diaries_ nah, but i switched to Linux and i booted at first try. Best decision i've made since a long time. I got myself zorin and its pretty ease to use, if you cant install windows you should try it.
Im fk done had a good pc. I spent AL my money in upgrading my pc eventually it is stuck and it can't do anything.
If you have a ssd and a hard drive try removing one then start it up see if it works

After installing Windows 10 (make sure you count from 1-10), then remove the bootable device (Ex. Usb flashdrive ) right on time. Just to stop the automatic installation/ repair loop.

@@naveenreddy7654 yes you have to reinstall windows 10 or 11 on another computer download it to a hard-drive and just boot up your pc with the hard drive installed

Pulling out Usb stick just at the point the laptop switches off for the restart worked for me (Legacy mode with Usb 1st in boot order and Hard Disk 2nd).

So i did the bootable usb, after that i go to the installation and deleted all the partitions then when its installing and finished it says restarting in 10 sec then goes back to the screen with install now or repair now.

@@zerbba Fixed it on my own, after you install it and youre on the windows will restart in 10 sec screen, unplug youre usb and youre good to go. I think most of us had in the bios to boot from a bootable usb as the first choice everytime, so the pc has no problem, i figured it after a lil bit, gl

@@zerbba You can try to turn off Fast Boot and Secure Boot in the bios and as well make sure your ssd or hdd is the first in the boot order. If this is not working try to reset the bios to it's default settings or even redo the bootable usb as in some cases it might got corrupted.

I've followed each step in the command prompt section at the end of the video, but I'm stuck at the copy *.* .. part, the command prompt says "the system cannot find the file specified". It does not give me the option to type "a" next

Hey man.. I was upgrading my win7 to 10 using media tool. In bios.. After the instalation. System restarts.. And then i go back again in installing the windows.. And sometimes when it restarts. It only display black screen..

@@jessicawhite7821 no, whilst the setup is going on, when the percentages of things finishing come up, eventually there should be a thing saying ‘Restarting’ and a timer line. Here, wait until the screen goes black, and unplug the usb

Mine gets to the Blue logo windows screen with the dotted circles. Itspins for a bit then it just restarts. Any solutions?

Why did you copy and replace 0KB files in the registry. Wouldn't this wipe it out?

@@Kingelio3663 In my case, I go to sleep and let the getting ready process is running , I wake up after about 3-4 hours and the getting ready process is finally over.

Just got mine resolved, somehow my motherboard can't figure out which drive to boot cause I have 3, so I disconnected all other and only left the one for system, then it worked.

@@theblazingtiger6000 Make a bootable pen drive containing windows 10 (you need another PC or laptop to do this) , then plug the pen drive into your laptop and since there isn't any file on your HDD, the windows 10 setup will automatically be open. Do as directed and then Windows 10 will be installed on your Laptop.

@@coolcade2127 it was a hardware problem, I’d love to be able to tell you what exactly was the problem but I didn’t have a troubleshooting setup. I managed to get a replacement for my MoBo, CPU, RAM and SSD. Sorry boss, wish you luck with the fix though!
for me it was bios setting boot order set to usb and then everytime it reinstalled windows i wasnt unplugging the windows install USB hope that helps someone that has same issue

Its different for certain pcs, u can also try spamming the del (delete) key as it worked for me

@@MDTechVideos My computer just turned off after the first 4 hours of use. After that, he didn't started anymore, he entered an infinite repair loop. I did several tutorials on TH-cam, formatted the hard drive and used a USB with WIndows BOOT (While trying all of these other methods, I fighted over the computer reestarting as well) When I tried to install Windows, it restarted in the middle of the process and from now on I can only open the motherboard BIOS, all other options make the computer restart. I checked all my hardware conections, tried to change my RAM position but it didn't worked at all.
My config: Ryzen 5 3500x + GTX 1660 6gb + Asrock A320M-hd + 8gb ddr4 2666mhz + 500w + 1tb HDD.
I would be SO HAPPY if you can help me. I'm litteraly out of options and the computer is brand new and I'm pretty sad about it.
