Carmelo one on one is a great player. Durant is a better scorer because he's not a ball stopper. He can get his many different ways without disrupting the flow of the offense.

Melo was a beast when he wanted to be. His ability to score, man he made it look easy. Got back and watch the footage. If he had the same drive as Kobe then he would have at least two rings.
