He is actually more of a poet than a musician. He has made some of the worst recordings I have ever heard. For example, take his recording of You Belong to Me, in whhich he doesn't seem to know either the words or the chords.
The first time I listened to this song, I was going to my hometown Kastamonu from İzmir and I was in a bus. The bus climbed so many bends and reached a hill's top. I saw this song on the playlist of the company and I started to listen to it. The sun was about to rise and I didn't know how much road we took till that point. The bus took the last bend and at that moment, I saw huge, plain fields, a valley I couldn't see where it ends while the sun was rising and started to make warm all the land. I couldn't take myself out of the song. While we were going down from the hill, I was in another world, we were in the valley and there was one or two tears in my eyes maybe because of happiness or because of some reason I still don't know but I felt like I understood something and I felt I was belonged to it. To all the people who can feel these things with love...

Such an amazing song! The White Stripes covered this several years later & did a hell of a job, but there's just no comparison to the original emotion & soul of Dylan. He puts so much heart into his music & lyrics. I remember my Mother had the Desire album on record, we used to listen when I was little. She was fortunate enough to see Bob in concert when she was 16. She said the audience threw roses at the stage. I wish I could've seen him too. I thank my Mom for making me a fan by introducing me to his music!
I am waiting on Bob Dylan's concert tommorow in Rockhal, Luxemburg. I heard and saw him last time in 2011. It seems so like it was yesterday. It is recommended to be phone-free atmosphere, just to get this feeling as many decades before all these techno gadgets. Just the performer and his Art.
This album was my first record I bought as a 13 year old kid back in 1980. I loved listening to this album in that time, but after that I never listened other Dylan music, he was a complete stranger to me, until today, when TH-cam served me his music. I was surprised to find that I carried his music inside me as an underground spring, from which I unknowingly drew and it has now naturally flowed out of me as a precious revelation, of how close we are to each other.

There are songs which when we hear them they recall special period of our lives. The very first time that I had a chance to listen to this song was the beginning of quarantine and I got back to my hometown, this little place surrounded by mountains. I will always cherish these moments there sitting in our yard, at the beginning of spring, trees blossomed, sun shines, with the harmony of breathtaking view of mountains around, reading my favorite books and listening this song and few others that also become my favorite since then. Therefore, I will recall these 4 months of my life as a period of peace. Lastly I wanna quote from a movie that I love "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it."

But I don't sense affection, no gratitude or love
Your loyalty is not to me but to the stars above

One more cup of coffee 'fore I go

But to the stars above..
Hello I really do appreciate you for being a big fan, thank you for your wonderful comments on my post,it really means a lot to me.I sincerely hope you never stop listenin to my music….🥰❤️
My brother-in-law introduced me to Bob Dylan when I was like 20 years old or maybe younger and he brought me his first album for my 20th birthday and I still got that album I love that album play this is my favorite album
Love this song.
This album the first Bob Dylan album and I was hooked on his music and I was only 14 year's old I'm 51 now and still love his music 💿📀💽
me too. Started with hurricane and then the rest came :D
Sorry, but it was not his first album.. Maybe for you.. 🤗💓🙏✌️
Desire very important Album to me also
Ha me too and I’m 50
You're still a Kid😏wish I was 50 again.
A genius had the pleasure of seeing him live in limerick Ireland greatest songwriter of all time thank you rob.
Your breath is sweet
Your eyes are like two jewels in the sky
Your back is straight, your hair is smooth
On the pillow where you lie
But I don't sense affection
No gratitude or love
Your loyalty is not to me
But to the stars above
One more cup of coffee for the road
One more cup of coffee 'fore I go
To the valley below
Your daddy he's an outlaw
And a wanderer by trade
He'll teach you how to pick and choose
And how to throw the blade
He oversees his kingdom
So no stranger does intrude
His voice it trembles as he calls out
For another plate of food
One more cup of coffee for the road
One more cup of coffee 'fore I go
To the valley below
Your sister sees the future
Like your mama and yourself
You've never learned to read or write
There's no books upon your shelf
And your pleasure knows no limits
Your voice is like a meadowlark
But your heart is like an ocean
Mysterious and dark
One more cup of coffee for the road
One more cup of coffee 'fore I go
To the valley below

Thank you to the great people sharing Dylan's music. I don't know who I am without it.
👍‼🌿
Dylan is so unique in terms of sound and lyrics what a musician. The king of folk song or should a say king of poetry music.
I think I'm more unique than him
something is either unique or not..it can't be "so unique"
Give my channel a boost. Visit it!! I covered this song. I hope you like it!
IM SO GLAD HIS ALBUMS ARE FINALLY ON TH-cam.
I’m finally delving deeper into his catalog and hearing most of his 70’s Albums for the first time.
I love the heaviness of them.
This is so immediately ancient. Dylan was here before. The violin is so haunting and holds the whole song together. Stunning.
dylan is "un juif errant" he has already been everywhere at any time!
This song only gets better with time 💙
Hello dear, it’s nice meeting you on here
Wonderful, a poet who puts his work to music
You won't find any comparison to this beauty.
When i listened this song was on a records shop.. i buy it right there
Love the gypsy sound to this song. Lyrics are so perfect. Still in awe.
Can you please explain what is gypsy sound?
@@memergamer312 Mysterious violin providing melody. That campfire type percussion played over the centuries with hand drums and tambourine. Usually has a 1-2-2 1-2-2 count to it.
방황하던젊은한때를추억하며가끔씩듣는노래~~
Bobdylan - one more acup of coffee -verynice
Such an amazing song! The White Stripes covered this several years later & did a hell of a job, but there's just no comparison to the original emotion & soul of Dylan. He puts so much heart into his music & lyrics. I remember my Mother had the Desire album on record, we used to listen when I was little. She was fortunate enough to see Bob in concert when she was 16. She said the audience threw roses at the stage. I wish I could've seen him too. I thank my Mom for making me a fan by introducing me to his music!
Ohh my heart just warming... Thanks Mr Legend Dylan my God bless you🖤🎶
Give me that violin… Grand start!! ❣️🎵👌🌺🌹🌷 What a Lovely performance by Dylan🌹
He’s an amazing artist. Unfortunately, artists today have no inspiration and no talent for music. Is this your favorite song?
Listening to Bob Dylan makes you smarter. Really!
Wow! Wish I was there… would love to know how the phone situation plan worked… would be amazing! 🤩 ❤enjoy.. have a cup of coffee before you go !!
Easily one of his greatest songs.
Enstrümanlar, vokal, aranje… Her şeyi o kadar güzel ki bu şarkının. Yutkunamamama sebep olan bir yumru.
A great song full of emotion and memories❤❤❤❤
Emmylou Harris sings the harmony with Bob on this. What a voice!
Hello dear, it’s nice meeting you on here
What an awesome journey that song is. So much of his material takes you somewhere.
One of my all time favourites.
Oh my God, the way you describe your feelings - it's a Claas of it's own!
Thank you, thank you , thank you !!
This song and every song on this album are just so absolutely amazing
It's a blessing to have grown up to his songs, especially this one. Dylan helped carve out beautiful inspirations that helped shaped our generation.

Hello dear, it’s nice meeting you on here
I was so lucky to see this absolute genius singing his songs when he came to Perth, Western Australia so many years ago. A lot of music created that time is timeless...But Bob Dylan was, and always will be fantastically unique! Sir Dylan, thank you. You have created much more than music. You have influenced countless, everyday, people. Thank you, Sir
This is what I need to chill myself . Thank you 🙏

Lastly I wanna quote from a movie that I love
"Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it."

The last verse is a poetic explosion.
