Always so much to unpack. Yet, like a warm blanket where things make sense again. As an aside, regarding the police dog. We have just concluded a situation here on Vancouver Island, where a known criminal has been in a police conflict, the dog was sent, the perp stabbed the dog over and over. The perp was eventually shot.The officer was investigated..took 2 years to conclude. Officer finally cleared. Public outrage continued. I'm devastated about how we have arrived at this point in our current history. I am so thankful for men and podcasts like these that remind me, there is still a contingency of critical thinking and right thinking.

I wouldn't say that he looks like he's in his twenties. I don't know how old Bill Rapier is but he could pass for someone in his thirties.
It's due to Godly living, which is healthy living, and walking by faith, which eliminates most stress and worry.
I know ths episode is from a while ago, but I just found it now in 2023 and I thought it was an excellent interview. I really enjoyed learning about this incredible special operator and not just his battlefield experience, but his faith and his amazing journey to becoming a tier-one operator.
A big think you to both Bill and Mike for your dedication and service to our country. You are both heroes in my book. God bless you both and God bless the USA 🇺🇸

One of the best I have seen to date. Real life experiences put in perspective that everyone should listen to. Bill's perspective between being a devoted Christian and the job he held was priceless. 👊👍❤🇺🇲
I'd feel a lot better about the future of this country if there were 100x more guys like these two out there. Two things I can say for certain, I was born a free man and I'll die a free man.
Wish more people my age had this same thought. My generation is gonna bury this great place, all the while they call it the worst place on earth. Hard to hold back the anger

The Lord has blessed me and my wife with 8 children and we're waiting on number 9. I'm 35 years old and I wouldn't trade it for anything. I gave up my shot at MARSOC in 2010 because I had just gotten married and my first child was on it's way.

Mike is hands down one of the best interviewers I’ve ever heard. Asked so many questions that came to mind before being executed.
This is one of the best episodes I've watched. Would love to see this Warrior talk more and wish he would get into more movements of what we are doing over seas he's got a good idea of what's going on.
I could listen to interviews with DEVGRU and 1st -SFOD, FOREVER...I have the pleasure of knowing a guy who served on Gold squadron( Crusaders/Knights) for 9 years!

Oh, I see ... DEVGRU guys are the outgoing friendly guys who seem more like school teachers and don't feel the need to put on the "SEAL Face." I think Jordan Peterson is right -- "A good man is a very, very dangerous man."
Nah man, the seals are all bad ass. There are a lot of seals who didn’t go to selection who 100% could have operated at that level but chose to stay with their platoons.

Some of these guys are understandably reluctant to get into the "nitty-gritty" details of missions and it's hilarious how Mike will ask the same question a dozen times, just worded differently, until he gets the answer he wants. lol
“Were there any other missions that you can talk about during that period that stood out?”
“And after that mission, were there any exceptional targets you guys hit that you can discuss?”
Etc etc.

Information is classified by a particular body and that information cannot be shared unless and until it is downgraded or declassified. There are a plethora of reasons that information received various classifications. It isn't always just the operation itself.

Mike, Brother i want to thank you for bringing Resilience to my attention. Its the first thing thats actually helped with the severe nerve injury i suffered in 2016. I've been taking the CBD only liquid now for 2 wks. And can say its helping me finally get at least 4 hours of restful sleep a night. Something that I haven't been able to get in a long long time.

There were the usual voices of concern regarding christmas and citizens that are not christian and that some of them
felt that they can’t chime in on the fun but all the muslims that i know celebrate christmas as well in one way or another.
There was however a debate about christmas-trees last year i think, because the trees and climate change somehow are intertwined. Don’t ask me how and why.
What great questions about reconciling faith/beliefs with morality and the right way to rid the earth of wicked men hellbent on embodying pure evil. Mad respect for this solid and grounded brother. He's the real deal because he's authentic and full of humble integrity! I really enjoyed this interview...

Excited for another great show
I love these podcasts. There are a lot of military podcasts out there but so many of them sound like guys just lecturing. Mike asks the absolute best questions and really focusing on the interesting action! Plus, Mike gets into broader topics, like the nation building issues in the middle east. This podcast is so entertaining and it's so much more than the just the runnin' and gunnin' stuff.
Thank god for Mike again - Bill reads the Bible in the morning and I read my recovery Blue book - sets you up for the day in the same way
Second video with Mr. Rapier and I am so impressed with his skills, spiritual fitness, God-Fearing man, stud. He is the type of man other guys want to be like. Watched his 6 tips on shooting and this one...so far. AND I loved West Germany when there with the USAF. 7 years total pre-2000. You could not pay me to go to Germany today, but man I really enjoyed the German people!
I live in a small country far far from the US.. but this kind of men give me inspiration for life, for fighting, for winning.

Excellent podcast! The off grid topic was very interesting to me what with having a small farm, and in the aftermath of such a hideous snow and ice storm that we just went through.
Bill's energy and enthusiasm is high voltage, and you can tell he really enjoys his life. I'm glad to have watched this. It helped further open my eyes to certain things that I have been overlooking.
On a side note...buy a t.v. Bill. That's why y'all have all those youngsters. That's why our ancestors had so many kids. No t.v. and lots of work to be done. Lol!

@@Bryant201 yes. Several times. I've taken his pistol and rifle combatives course. All of the courses I've taken with Bill are very solid and some of the best training I've ever received. I carry a gun for a living and can't recommend training with Bill enough.
