Before purchasing the Kobra 3 combo, I watched a lot about trouble shooting anything that happens to come up. Purchased this because it is in my price range. If I hadn't seen your video about disassembly and issues with the hot end, I would be in the dark on what may have gone wrong. Keep up the content with this machine, you have helped a lot. Got my sub!
I've had mines for about a month now and so far it's been a slightly iffy experience for me. I changed the nozzle to a 0.2 and that's where it started going wrong with it leaking loads so I swapped it back and broke it by trying to take it out without warming it up. 2nd print head was OK until it got stuck in the heatsink until that broke trying to get it out. So I've got a new print head (with a hot end I'm hoping) as well as another one as a replacement.
Yeah, you should always heat it up before changing the nozzle, there are filament in there making it very hard to do with out heating up the nozzle. Good luck on your new print head.
Thanks for posting this, mine stopped last night and when I saw this morning was encased in plastic goop. How long did it take to get your replacement?
I was wondering if this video was going to come out with the experiences others were having with this hotend. I also have to wait for this component to come in. Got about 20 hours of printing before mine started leaking last night
Hi... i just change my hotend and im getting torubles with the lines... is making some lines when traveling and messing the prints... what do you think its need to be adjust... I appreciate your help
hmm... not quite sure. Did you secure your hotend well, where It's suppose to be? You can try auto bed auto leveling again. If it does not fix it, then maybe check to see if anything is wrong with your hotend, by taking it apart again and reinstall it.
Yes, the sale and discount code both work. Mine is in the mail. Amazon has better deals on filament. The pantone four pack is $60, vs about $80 from the company site. And thanks for your content. Has Anycubic fixed this in new printers?
Did you only get a new hotend when the parts arrived? I noticed some people are also getting an updated fan in the front that uses less power and has a different style of blades
@@MichaelP-ns /sigh Thats a horrible way to combat leaking. Mine is supposed to be here on tuesday and its making me want to just return it without opening it
Is there something I can do to prevent the current one from leaking (i still have the stock one brand new, didn't print yet) ? Like do i tighten something or anything?
@@Scratch3DPrinting but to get a free one I first need a leak, how to know if it has leaked without having to constantly check (by opening the printer head and removing the sock)?
Hello I have been using this printer for 1 month. Within 1 month, my printer does not recognize the Ace Unit. After changing the filament, the Ace unit works but the cobra3 does not. Now the nozzle is clogged. I just changed it. Now it does not stick to the table and it fringes. It does not print the product I printed before. Can you help me with this issue? I made a calibration setting. I reinstalled the printer. I cannot print at all.
Hi, hmm I have not encounter that problem yet. Since you have already reinstalled the printer and still have the same issues, I suggest you open a ticket support to contact Anycubic support and see if they can help you. You can also check to see if there's any loose belt or bolt, that could also be an issues that could cause the printer to not print like it was brand new.
I just got this problem with mine, so is this something we can ask for refund, i will like to get another one because the leak of material almost break my bed
If your original hotend is leaking, then you can submit a ticket to anycubic and they will send you a replacement. If it's the new one that has the problem, then I'm not sure you can submit another ticket to anycubic and see what they can do.
@calilifestyle You can contact them if you have a leaked nozzle, they'll replace it for free. I think the upgraded hot end is just there if people want to buy it.
My anycubic Cobra 2 Max was delivered to me with a faulty hotend sensor, i told them about it via email and wanted either a replacement sensor or a "quick fix" within 2 weeks. When they did not respond withind said 2 weeks i refunded the whole thing on amazon. I did not know there was a ticket system...so maybe anycubic is not dead to me yet^^

Thanks Im glad my videos were helpful to you, and congrats on your kobra 3
Thanks mate, this was super helpful for me. Had a small clog and first time removing the hit end. The video was very easy to follow along. Cheers
You're welcome, glad it was helpful to you.

It takes only 1 day from them to respond, and like 5 days to receive the product.

Yeah, the first type of print head leaks alot, this one seems fine so far.
Do you know if you have to buy the camera or if it comes with one. Thanks again I sooo needed this video! 🎉🎉🎉🎉
The camera can be bought, not sure if it's for sale yet. I got it during the sale of the Kobra 3 so it comes with mine.

Nice! Congrats on your new 3d printer. I think they has fixed most of the problem that people have reported. I really never gotten issues on mine.
Not been able to print enough to even get any leaking, waiting on hot end assembly
It would be good for no leaks.
Did you only get a new hotend when the parts arrived? I noticed some people are also getting an updated fan in the front that uses less power and has a different style of blades
Yes, I got the new hotend. Rally they also updated the front fan, thats nice, I think mine is still the old one.
How are you going to change nozzles if they glued it in? Doesn't seem like a good solution
WE WIL SEE
Really hope what is around the bottom is just white thermal grease and not adhesive but it looks the same to me also
@@TylerTroglen folks the the FB group have confirmed its adhesive and the nozzle won't come out

How long dose it take to come in? I ordered the camera and it taking 3 weeks to get it. Is it faster to just order one from Amazon?
Yes amazon is faster, as with many items. Ordering items from the company, shipping is slower.
Hey how long did it take you do get your part after reporting it?
Hi, it took 2 days for them to send the replacement and about 1 week to arrive.

any one have any recommendation to test that the Heat Block isn't leaking. i would hate for it to start leaking before it's to late.
You can do like a 10 hours test print. Also do some multi color printing.
