Crazybird have done it again with a chunky take on what is usually an unexciting type of electric bike. The Crazybird Seta Ebike comes with optional throttle and hard locked to 250w (unless you choose 500w when you buy it) so can be used in total legal mode. So if you're looking for a City Ebike commuter with a little extra 'oomph' then the Crazybird Seta may be the bike for you.

There's a link to my Facebook Marketplace in the description. I don't have room to keep all of these bikes so if you're local you may be able to get one for a silly low price 👍

Use Code EVRC for £40 off (unsure if the code works whilst it's reduced this much)
Such a competitive market the city commuter market, under £1000... that's a decent bike
Agreed
thanks, frame looks like a mid drive motor, is there anything in there ?
Nah it's just a housing for the controller etc.
if it is an Ali welded frame it's better to leave the weld on as ugly as it looks, it prevents it from cracking like many have at a later date seems good value but with just a 14A battery doesn't give you much range
Where can you test ride this bike?
I don't understand the crank assembly. Looks like a centre motor, but is just a cadence sensor?
It's just a housing for the controller but yeah it looks like it could be a mid drive motor.
This bike or hey bike ec1
Ooh good question. This one I more versatile but the ex 1 is fully legal but still gets to 30 under pedalling with not that much effort. It depends on what you want. If you go over rougher stuff then this one.
@@e-VRC thank you
Great review do you know where I can find information on the display software settings
I have just received mine today and would like to change some of the default settings
Thanks. Ooh are they not in the manual? Which settings do you want to change?
@@e-VRC
I may have accidentally changed the settings to allow a password and now I can’t alter any settings, when I turn the bike on it comes on 08 and underneath 4 programmable spaces to insert password if I type in the factory default 1212 and press I button to set it,it just
Turns off and when I press start the screen reads 08 again
@@juliejones1776 aaah. Probably best to drop them an email I'm sure they can sort that out. The bike isn't with me at the moment so I can't look myself.
@@e-VRC
Ty for responding
I have emailed them and I am waiting for a reply
@@juliejones1776 best of luck with it. They'll probably tell you how to do a hard factory reset.
Is there a reason you have never tested a Fiido bike? Are they a load of shi....?
This is the same as the Fiido C11 city bike, l paid £817 for there are at least 6 versions l have seen of that bike up to now with slight variations, mine has 500w brushless motor, cst tyres, same battery, hydraulic brakes, a very good bike, but ive also seen, samebike version, eskute, belway, another l cant recall and now this, same basic bike bar a few tweaks just different labels slapped on and some cheaper than mine which l thought was excellent price and still do because of the motor and brakes, but samebike ROS l think it is has practically the same spec, but with a suspension seat too and only £685 , so even cheaper than mine.
Theres many bikes made the same place but seemingly exclusively for a company but not actually all are generic.
Fiido bikes are great.
Haha I've tested one recently the fiido t2 longtail it was good. They sent loads of accessories for it so it'll be back in a couple videos time.
Are you going to test the Himiway A7 pro
They haven't contacted me
So it's as fast as a 50cc moped, costs far less, and requires no tax, insurance, or MOT. Illegal in the UK, but I see no evidence of anyone being prosecuted. Presumably, if plod did pull you up, you just put it back into 250W mode so they can't touch you.
People do get prosecuted but you'd NEVER get pulled over on something that looks like this. Its all diy bikes where the police have spotted them doing 40mph without pedalling or being absolute clowns and riding them on the motorway.
Its only road traffic police that will know what to look out for and they've been cut in numbers in most places.
