Hi....Damian, thanks for showing this Vidios. I have had never seen this wide body cars in Germany. Not here in my home country , also not in my Birthplace Berlin. Thx and good luck.
Udo, no problem. This kit was based in the UK but exported all around the world. There is another German based wide body conversion we are going to feature at some point. Thanks for your support and comments. It really helps and makes a difference, regards Damian
Sue, no and yes. The creator retired and he has been trying to sell the moulds for the kits. So no you cannot buy a new kit but you can buy the moulds and make your own new kit. Sorry not a straight answer, but hope that helps, regards Damian
Hi. I bought a zeemax kit for my 911 from Barry back in 2003. I want to change the front end back to a more 964 look. I wanted to ask Barry for his advice. Have you got any contact details. Thanks.
@@ODRModurol thanks for the info. He was a very nice guy when I met him back in the day and they did a professional job. However 20 years later with the same car I think I owe my 911 a more traditional look for the next possible custodian..likely my son. All the best and thanks again.
Unsure why, but the 5off XKR Merlin's were annotated by Jaguar on their X100 production portfolio issued in 2007. I don' think any other 'aftermarket' version was counted in this way. It was treated like the Stratstone's. I can only surmise it was something to do with the Charity that the Merlins were produced for. What would be interesting, and perhaps explain the mystery, is if the Merlin's had any factory upgrades or omissions....
Paul, Merlins are on the list so we will get around to that one as well. Not sure where to start but will investigate. Thanks for the comment regards Damian
Andy, it is covered in the video in the value in 2021 section. Would like to cover in more detail but we are reliant on owners supplying quality photos and video. The photos in the eBay advert are quite poor. I did contact the seller (dealer) but no response yet. That one is a really good clean example. Spoke to Barry about that one and he remembered it. He confirmed the interior was his own work. Not everyone is an enthusiast, interested or responds to our polite requests. Big thanks to those that send us stuff. Thanks for the comment regards Damian
Stephen, he still has the moulds so in theory he can still make and sell parts. Although he is trying to retire he might be interested. You can contact him via the Zeemax website email address and phone number. Also listed in the video description. Thanks for the comment regards Damian
Hey man I am currently doing a rebuild on an xk8 and I was wondering what the website is for this body kit cause it’s the only nice one I’ve found and I’m wondering if they still have the parts. Can you please drop the website link?
Jacob, unfortunately, the www.Zeemax.com website is no longer active. When we made the video the kits creator, Barry Perman, was retiring and selling the moulds for the panels. Not sure if he has sold them or not. Arden GmBh do a similar kit but it's very expensive. Paramount or Grantley are other options. Good luck with the rebuild. When you finish you car please send us some photos, regards Damian
Have to say, that wide body is pretty good looking. That tail light conversion only looks good when someone takes the trouble to blend them in like the black one did, otherwise they look like a cheap bolt on. I never thought the OEM X-100 tail lights were anything to write home about. The blue car looks horrible in that color if you ask me. Of all the colors in the world, the only thing worse than baby blue is pink! Furthered by having a red interior, then topping it off with an orange mouth??? What was he thinking??? When you have a color for the interior (in other words, other than a neutral black/gray/tan, etc.) you're pretty much forced to have a similar exterior color. Baby blue and red interior ... OMG ... barf! :(
Andrew, the colour is AML Flugplatz Blue, not that makes it any more better or worse. It definitely turns heads and might not be to everyone’s taste. The orange mouth was just a experiment and is poster paint so was washed off. This kit is really outrageous and so is the colour. Myself I prefer red most of the time. I liked the seat colour modification though. Richards got some skills and it’s all about expression and interesting projects. Thanks for your input and comment regards Damian
Nicely put together Damian and quietly envious of this Zeemax widebody body kit.
Kingfisher, thanks very much. Lots of nice and unique XK8’s out there. Trying to capture most of them. Thanks for the comment regards Damian
Thanks Damian, I'm looking at my XKR and going hmmm.
Bernard, tempted? Regards Damian
@@ODRModurol hard to justify, especially in NZ dollars.
Bernard, agreed doesn’t make sense financially especially as basic cars are starting to become more collectible, regards Damian

Surprised you aren’t covering the red xkr on eBay. £15K. Looks smart. In Leeds

Alan, interesting, assume it probably looks quite cool in grey? Thanks for the info and comment regards Damian
Hello…. Are the molds still for sale?
Thank you Mark….
Mark, not sure, there are contact details in the video description of the owner if you are interested to purchase the molds, regards Damian
Thank you Damian....
@arboc429, no problem hope you find what you are looking for, regards Damian
