Nice job in general, I might have tried wrapping the stretchy bathing suit material over the whole thing like they do when building speaker pods. I like seeing the challenges you faced as the pieces crumble apart.
Wow. That's crazy. Your videos are incredibly well done, not controversial and unoffensive. Not sure why TH-cam is doing that. Keep up the great work. I love your projects and your format.
@@3rdGenGuy agree lol.my brother made a dash out of beautiful hardwood used a router. But when he totalled his iroc. That dash damn near almost cut his head off lol.
My 79’ Malibu dash needs this. The replacement dash is around $1200 so I’ll gladly take the time to redo my dash as you did. Thanks for sharing!
SO this is one of 14 videos I'll be re-posting
the algorithm keeps striking my videos so I had to re-make 14 of them.
MAN THAT SUCKED!

I could have sworn you had this video posted already.
Me too. I am certain that I've seen this one before too.
Ya, so you will see 14 or so re-post videos because TH-cam's algorithm is striking my videos.
i had to remake them unfortunately.

@@3rdGenGuy ah ok
This channel is a gold mine
Great job! 👍
That was so fun to watch.
Your video's makes me want to track down a T Top firebird
Hello, Question, why not just use filler and over that the primer and the flocks?
To strengthen it so it doesn't crack again, particularly in the areas with filler as those are relatively weak.
@@AikaCraftyCat aaah thanks for the explanation
I did that in like 2016 and it just cracked in like 2 weeks.
my failed 1st attempt a while back
If you use fleece would you just put the fleece over and that’s it? No sanding?
the surface underneath would still need to be semi smooth.
otherwise any fabric cover would show the imperfections.
It’s a lot easier to do with fleece than fiberglass mat. Fleece will cut that process in half.
Is this a re-upload?
Im attempt to do this but with out the fiber glass great vid tho save $150
Comment to appease the algorithm.
Good video
And on trips to the beach, it’s strong enough to use as a surf board.
jokes aside, that dash is VERY strong now.
Keep in mind that in an accident fiberglass will be coming at you!
bruh, in a crash: my 3rd gen will be in a million pieces.
