Just gettin around to this - why did u scuff the whole underside - when you just applied silicone to the edges?
Hey..if I remember correctly I put silicone all around and when u pish down on it, it will squeeze the silicone out

Save your money. They don't go on this easy. I bout 3 from 3 different suppliers and none of them fit.

Got original dash pad for my gta for 100 bux, but still cover it because it will probably crack. Should have went with the cover instead. Gonna sell it before it cracks and buy the cover now lol

Klowny, what do you suggest as to how to keep a dash from cracking? Just a visor, or would a dash cover be better? And does it help to Armor All it, or use something else?
John Arkady don't use armor all it makes the dash to shiny and glare from the sun. i always use a interior cleaner from McGuires and the protection interior it's alot better than armor all. it's not as harsh on the panels and dash as armor all.
John Arkady the only reason a dash cracks over time is if it's exposed to sun all the time. also armor all used to have a chemicle in it that made the dashes extremely shiny and the glare from the sun baked the dashes and caused them to crack. the best thing to do is do what I mentioned. and get a windshield block anytime you are going to be out somewhere parked in the sun. it does help but I've been using McGuire for along time on my dash never have to use the sun block. I have a 97 ranger and the dash still looks new. it's never seen armor all.

It looks a little bumpy in spots where there is no glue..other than that it's good
Super disappointed in this. Mine didn't fit. Was almost a fall inch off around the defrost vents on the ends of the dash.

Why sand the whole thing if just putting sealant around perimeter? Makes no sense.

what make is the dash pad???? and why sand the center of the dash pad and cover if your not gonna use something to glue it down with? Seems like it would warp and become wavy if it wasn't glued down.
