Yeah, we've decided to move on and explore other places, we will pop back in a few years down the line I reckon, been some great camps over the past year or so 😎
Who did that to the camp? The Forestry Commision or equivalent agent to deter wild camping? Or landowners? It's been done with chainsaws, as can be seen in the video. Shame, but its not the end of the world. This is why i constantly find new spots and keep moving around. Good video 👍🫡
I think it must have been the Forestry commission dude, it was bound to happen eventually, we will still go back to camp there, it's an ideal location 😊
@SteFortune clearly trying to deter camping. Shame but as you say they've rumbled it and cut it all down. This is why I don't leave evidence of camping in forests or woods. That way my favourite spots are left untouched or preventative measures in place against wild camping 🫡
Good to have the skills as backup though marra, you can always call on the bushcrafty side to make camping a laal bit more comfy in future. @@SteFortune
leave it as you found it. if you build shelters where you dont have specific permision from the landlord they are likley to be removed. for wild camps it best to use tarps ot tents
I think it's not permitted, but as long as you are respectful and don't leave a mess, we always leave anywhere we go tidy, we did build a camp here using the fallen trees etc. We won't be doing it again. Lesson learned
Sometimes you've got to gan alang to get alang marra, once a spots compromised just bin it, avoid any sorrow down the line. 😂

@AnIdiotOutdoors I think going forward I will stick to tent and that's it, gave Bushcraft a go and it's not really for me to be fair
@@SteFortune it's great, if you have your own land

Yep, I totally agree.
I think they are mostly worried about homeless people staying there tbh
Definitely matey
Ali should get himself a hammock 😉
Nice one mate but shame about the camp
Cheers matey, shit happens I guess
@@SteFortune No worries and yeah that’s true I suppose
Is camping permitted in this forest? Nothing on the website so I imagine it isn't. There aren't many/any wild areas in England...

Ali should go on his own….be less work!!
Most definitely 😂
Shame how some people are
It's sad isn't it, we literally left it nice and tidy and some jerks who chop down trees in a man made forest for profit spoil the fun ha ha
