I can't listen to this song without thinking of my mother. I lost her a month before my 18'th birthday and it has most definitely left a hole in my soul. Although this song stirs up emotions, it's too good to stay away. Thank you Apocalyptica for your great work.
I'm sorry brother. My mom passed Dec 29th 2020. We can never fill the holes they left in our hearts when they left this world. You can not fill that void I have tried everything. You can't drink the pain away and no drug is strong enough to numb the pain. We will be ok brother. I do miss that unconditional love more and more every day. Ppl are so goddamn selfish and cold

I'm glad they went out and found a permanent lead singer that complimented their music so well. This song can bring me to tears if I'm in the right mood and it's not just from the lyrics, he has a passion in his voice that brings out a sadness

Someone I loved since childhood died of an overdose 2 years ago Dec. 13th. The day I found out he passed I heard this song. Long story short we were good friends but I couldn't accept that he didn't love me back in the way I wanted so I ultimately dissolved our friendship in a way that caused him to hold a grudge against me. He was that type of person; we were young and stupid, and we all make mistakes. I wished nothing but the best for him. I missed him then and I miss him now. This song pretty much tells you the rest. His death devastated a part of me.
Be honest and kind to one another and to yourself. Love without expectation. But most of all--Be your best self.

What are you talking about? This song is great, but if you want, you should check out Cell-0, their first instrumental album in over a decade. It's easily Apocalyptica at their best, but not for the lack of vocals.
