thanks brother, appreciate it! this particular video took few nights to finish, thanks for noticing production effort. one more thing, why dont you hit that subscribe button bro ?! ;)
This would be a good point to check for spark if you haven't already. Don't want to get the whole bike assembled and find out you have problem. Great video.
Ok Rado, I’m really impressed you mentioned wearing eye protection for the foot peg installation. I ended up in the hospital a few months ago when re-installing a foot peg on my TE150. It broke thu my glasses, shattered the glass in my eye ball, and the spring hit my eyeball quite hard. I’m fully recovered now. Without glasses, (they weren’t safety unfortunately), I’d be wearing a patch today. I have a picture of the glasses. It looks like a bullet went thu them.
Man...I just wanted to see the end result...But your work and that music made me see the hole video. Nice work you are doing a great job. Much love all the way from Romania.
Very nice! I know your bike better than my own at this point... haha. The only thing I do differently is to first put the pipe springs on and then tighten the bolts from the front to the back of the pipe. This is especially important if anything doesn't align perfectly, yours seems to be perfectly straight though.
I just mentioned to my wife this morning that I'm waiting for a video to know you and the family are safe from wildfires. I'm glad to see you're doing well and got this project going together. It looks great!!
Great video as always. The background music is great too. I don't know how much time you spend selecting the music, but I dig it! Keep up the good work! Thx!
thanks a lot! I did spend some time going thru different songs and listening to them while I watch the video, I wanted the video to be really enjoyable. Finally I decided that acoustic guitar fits quite well. thanks for noticing that ;)
Haha, I will regret those nuts for a long time, I got like 20 guys telling me they are rusty :) Thanks for comment Robert, I am glad you enjoy these build videos.
Just started watching today bc I wanted to see how you would do something like this now I'm hooked never had a KTM but I'm sure this one is going to turn out great
Hey Rado I noticed on a couple of your grounding connections you’re using medium locktite . I would recommend instead that you use no locktite and use a stainless spring washer instead. Also, scrape the mating surface on the frame if there’s paint. You want a fresh clean contact between the ring terminal and the frame as well as through the machine screw. Using locktite acts as an insulator on the treads.
No problem. Unless I missed it, it looked like you forgot to put locktite on your shifter. This is where you really need it because if the bolt backs out even a little bit, you end up stripping the ridges that the shifter mates in.
I didnt loctite it yet, i want to first get my boots on and set the height, I will loctite later. Thanks for reminder, please let me know if you see anything else ;)
Love your video’s Rado, been watching all of them this one especially from the start....Awesome content and quality upload with soothing music....this bike build is just beautiful ! Keep safe, I’m looking forward to your next upload. 🤘
Your Bike is looking better than new Rado...I'm in love with the Lectron carb. Really want to try one on my street bike,XR650L. I'm so Moto-vated, I'm riding today at BUD'S CREEK MD . Come on 11am!!!
Word of advice, I would grind down some of the paint where your grounds are for your electrical system. It will give it a lot better ground when it's against bare metal vs painted metal
Lovin’ the build! Already looks beautiful. Any reason not to use a BLACK gas tank so it’s different from everyone else? I think it deserves an all around O G look.
I wanted to use ims tank, they have good design. Other tanks are too tall. They're only offering it in natural color, but I actually like it more than black, it's good to see fuel level and I think it will look better once done. It would be too much black for my taste. Thanks for suggesting it though ;)
@12:12 is there enough exposed metal to ground the coil? Same at 12:46? Looking forward to the next video, there's nothing better than watching the first start up after a cool build like this!

not very often, KTM has a drain bolt on the side, I should be able to change the oil with the skid plate on. This is medium strength, you can still take it apart but it wont get loose as you are riding
Does anyone know why my KLX250 header pipe gets red hot after idling for a few mins. The case also gets so hot I can't keep my hand on it very long. It's liquid cooled. Oil and coolant were changed and coolant pump is working. This all started after my manual cam tensioner got loose and popped out causing the cam chain to be loose. But, once I got it home, the next morning it starts up but still very hot. Anyone have any ideas?
Make sure that your timing is correct. Next would be to jet it, lean bike runs hot. Lean pilot jet circuit will make your pipe red hot at the idle. Looks like she needs more fuel.
