Dirt N Iron . I didn’t even realize this at first but, my riding boots, TCX Blue/ Hi VIZ, would be a pretty good match for that bike. Soooo, do i get a test ride on it.😁😁JK.
A little trick I learned years ago is to sand or file a bevel on the bottom edge of your brake pads before installing and it makes wheel installation easier as your lining up the rotor to go in between the pads in the caliper that bike is going to look and be much better than when it was new nice job.
It's looking great....from my own experience with a rebuild....I suggest that you use Loctite on a lot more or the nuts and bolts. Even some of the small ones that have torque specs.. Somehow those buggers manage to get loose. Love the channel and the builds.

Again. Love the vids. Cant wait to see the finished bike.

I was works rider for Husqvarna from 1980-83 why I left to Honda. Was simple they did not make a good enough 500cc bike then. So i got take over Graham Noice bikes as he ride them for 4 race. I don’t know if i like working on them or riding them more right now i am 13 and doing a ground up restoration on my dads kdx200 i only stripped one bolt haha soon you wont be able to get parts for them i got a full fmf exhaust new plastics powder coated frame and some bling parts it was so disgusting previous owner did a dodgy restoration and never took care of it i want to to a 500 soon because i see them going up in price and i love the insane power of a 2 stroke but i am on a 250f right now no better time to do a restoration because i cant ride right now

Sky Blue. There is actually an electric blue. It's a darkish metallic blue. Nice colour also. Edit: The homage back to the names roots with those colours was a nice touch too.
@@dirtniron I mean all the other bolt like chain guid bolts, radiator bolts to frame, all those little buggers that rattle loose and fall off, I only seen u do one bolt / nut .
@@dirtniron Yeah, I used them for the rear brake and they were down to the metal after one harescamble. Put DP's on no problem. I talked to local KTM dealer about it and they said that Tusk pads are basically junk. I'll think I'll only use Tusk for cosmetics only from here on out.
What I like in this channel it's watching old and worn bikes coming back to life at their best. This FE is becoming better than how it was born.

I raced Huskvarna way back in the late 70s. I started on a Honda XR 75 then moved up to Husky 125cc then to the 250cc. I miss the sport so much.
