I have an alias set when I run the perspective viewport command that resets back to world top- the command string is- _perspective cplane world top or you can simply reset the cplane to wold top manually.
An alternative method is to use the "Named CPlanes" panel and directly click on some of the saved CPlanes there. :) th-cam.com/video/Q9aZVt-1j1s/w-d-xo.html There are a few advantages of that approach: 1. It works directly in the same viewport. No need to reach different viewports. This way, the viewport could be maximized and even locked, and the trick will still work; 2. It does not need to setup different views preliminary with multiple viewports opened simultaneously; 3. As long as the "Named CPlanes" panel is opened, the selection could be remapped to any saved CPlane in the list, even very far from the camera.
Cool trick, Kyle. I can see the usefulness in Rhino 8 with Auto CPlane. We also frequently use Orient3pt to have finer control over the origin(s).
This lecture is very perfect sir
Mind exploded and melted at the same time 😅 Thanks, Kyle!
thanks for watching!
This is extremely helpful. Thank you!
Glad you liked it!
can you show what you do after to put it back to world cplane?

NIce add! thanks! yes, that is very cool-
i think Orient3pt is quicker to do it. Also, i have setup alias 'cs' as "CPlane _Object" and it quickly change cplane to any surface.
Auto cplane is even faster. But that is not what we are talking about here.
