I had no idea this was even out!? Been riding my Hawk Hill for several years now. Heck I'm jumping it in the pic to the left of this post. I've never been a big biker but a few years back I picked up the HH and since then I've been addicted, dropping and sending it all over the biggest spots in the PNW. And because MARIN helped to bring me to the level of riding I am at today (and keep me relatively safe without the bike breaking on me) I'm MARIN for life. So stoked to learn about this bike! Been needing to upgrade because my HH is beat up and falling apart. Thanks for the review!
Man I am loving this video, been riding bikes for a living bought not this bike, but the San Quentin 2 wondered if I worked at bike shop (No Work experience) that would be the day. Made changes to the San Quentin, tubeless conversion, 1x9 (Box Components Prime 9), and new rotors the shifting has been easier with nine gears.
Going back through some of the older videos really appreciate this product review for the rift zone carbon 2. Those close up trials moves showcase the bike better than any of the normal trail shots. If you can make that bike do those stunts it surely can do anything the normal rider could put it through.
That guy's got skills! ...I'm a mtb noob and bought the standard Rift Zone 2, and wondering what the Carbon frame feels like (...along side the other upgraded components).

This is what we love to hear

It certainly can. Our ambassadors are always offering feedback to make our bikes ride better for the "normal riders"

Hey man. Frame and bike as a whole feels really nice. Nimble enough for some jibs and stunts but still surprisingly good on some rougher trails! 👊🏼
Wicked bike, new colours coming for 2022?
I'm exhausted from just watching the street bit.
haha - it would be amazing to be able to ride like Duncan
Wish I could ride like that...
Trust me, we all do, Bad Drivers of Columbus, Georgia.
Nice bike
Thanks ✌️
Sick man make more jib vids on the Mtb
Don't worry I am on it! :-)
I would like to know frame size Duncan is riding. The frame looks on the smaller size for him. Looks like a good sizing for the trials moves.
Duncan rides a medium - he prefers a slightly smaller frame for technical trials moves
@@marin_bikes Thanks. Do you know how tall Duncan is?
what size frame is that and what inch is the wheel
It's a medium frame with 29" wheels
How much it weighs?
Hi I have been trying to decide between the rift zone carbon 1 and a rift zone carbon 2. Which one do you think I should get
If you can afford to go for the Rift Zone Carbon 2, you will get better components. But both bikes will be equally fun to ride.
Wish I could use a water bottle cage kind of annoying to have to wear a backpack
Backpacks can be annoying, but they are also great for carrying spare parts, water and first aid kits
@@marin_bikes For sure, but may as well make sure the bike can carry a water bottle when there is 2 bolts for one haha
8:55 I've never cringed so hard in my life 😬
horrible sound aye!
No going up hill. WTF.
Try this one th-cam.com/video/qHggGkOO8bE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=pQorLmlCxN1q6KWz
So it’s a cross country bike…
It looks interesting! 125 mm travel, coil and 27,5 plus tire compatible. You can make anything out of it
