Same that is as old as the 1st Arkham
I always tend to clear out all the guards until there's one left and then spend a good half hour whizzing around with a remote batarang and scaring the crap out of him. And occasionally also jamming his gun with that dart gun thing, dropping down in front of him, scaring him then dropping a smoke bomb and zipping off the rafters for more remote batarang teasing. 🤣🤣🤣

I typically prefer black and grey but I hate that this is the only blue suit in the game. It looks fabulous when you're outside in the night sky.
All the suits look cool in Arkham Knight.
To be honest, I had all the suits and I never even recognized this was even a suit like at all- until now lol

@@CAGAT25 like you said, when you get to this level of performance in a game it really just comes down to personal preference. What can be argued on an objective basis is how streamlined the combat systems are and how conducive to smoothness and everything they are. But really, it’s just whatever each person prefers.
I just appreciate the rare instances where someone doesn’t say “no, you’re wrong, THIS game is better” like subjectivity isn’t a thing. So thank you lol

I'm about to continue it, because of watching these clips. Never finished Arkham Knight becuase I have an issue of not completing things at 100%, and The Riddler crap is just an absolute chore. Plus the Batmobile stuff too.
This game is a gem. I'm glad shitty work of WB Montreal reminded people how AAA looked like back in 2015. Though I am not glad it is shitty (WB Montreal work I mean).

I love that there is still a community for this game experimenting with the games mechanics 7.3 years after its release, its so sick!
In the earlier games you can also Batclaw thugs off of walkways, ladders, etc. The third level of the area outside the front of the steel mill in City is one of the highest locations where this works. And in one spot in Origins, you can even use the Glide Boost takedown to chuck a thug off a roof. I have a video of that on my channel ("Batman kills in Arkham Origins").

this was a feature that arkham city actually took advantage of with their riddler missions. this game has more tight controls and physics so you can’t get away with much, but you can still do this, and it’s easily the most satisfying thing to do lol

Yup. I used to abuse this "trick" in the End of the Line predator map in City for the lols. Good times.
Yep, I remember one where the button to access the trophy was clear on the other side of the building and it was a second or two too far away to race, but relatively easy with the baterang.

I've been doing this since the medical building all the way back in Asylum. Every time there's a stealth section I try to find a way to cheese it this way lol

You can also pull them down with your grapple
When I discovered that in Asylum, it was a joy. The Batclaw can do the same, it’s hilarious seeing henchmen pulled over ledges.
Batclaw ledge pull is a legit tactic.

for me it was this and the batclaw. in arkham city, I'd just sit on a ledge and throw everyone off ledges to watch them fall and totally not die
I’ve done similar stuff with the batclaw since Arkham asylum, a little harder to set up but ultimately more satisfying imo
I used to finish a whole stealth room aside from the last guy, then toy with him using the remote controlled baterang. He'd get so freaked out it's hilarious.

It's in this in instance I actually miss the Multi-Batarang. Knocking over up to three guys at once for take downs and further set-ups was fun
I understand that with quickfire batarangs its completely redundant, but still
Multi-batarangs are still a thing in this game.
U can still use multi batarang takedowns in knight
You can use the multi-batarangs though. Go over the normal batarang and with a button press(I forget which button) you get to hold three.
@@nofacedgoldfish6216 Yes. You are right. You have to press R1 (or RB for the Xbox) to switch to Multiple Batarangs. The same is true if you want to toggle between Freeze Blast and Freeze Cluster Grenade. If you count Multi-Batarang and Freeze Cluster as distinct gadgets, then Arkham Knight really has 14 gadgets.

I've used it a lot like that in Endless Knight. You can sit in a safe spot and snipe enemies in certain places. Of course, it gets boring but it works when you need to escape for a while, waiting for the smoke bomb to be avaiable, but keep scoring additional time.
Me, who only uses quickfire baterangs: “Oh, I don’t think I do”

Just fell from a story up, landed on the back of his head… he’s just sleeping.
Quick firing a batarang has the same effect of knocking someone off a ledge if they’re close enough 🙂

I remember I've done this at least once or twice. More circumstantial and not intentionally set up though.
This feature where they get knocked out off a ledge screwed me up soooo bad in the Batcave AR challenge where you can only use beat downs.
That being said, it's hilarious and effective in every other situation
Guess I need to use the Batarang + Cliff combo more but idk if it beats the joy of using the Batclaw to pull a thug off a railing tho super satisfying, that the true use to the Batclaw.

What!? I thought you couldn't knock people off of high places in this game! I've tried it, there's always been an invisible wall! I thought Asylum to Origins were the only games you could do that in.
I beat this game 4 times, got all the trophies, and I never knew you could do such a thing

I won't lie, i RARELY used the batarangs outside of the times i was forced to (ie Bane) in the trilogy. You've opened my eyes.

And me! It never occurred to me that you could knock the enemies off a high ledge/walkway with the batarang. I'll definitely be using the batarang to do this in my next AK playthrough.

I loved everything about Arkham Knight except for the excessive batmobile stuff. Too many required missions just shooting little diamonds on the screen, it turned me off to the game in general because of how much they put those missions in there

Honestly for a Batman game coming from all of them including throwbacks. This one was really nice. The new one was so terrible they had to do Batman in 2wice, story was dry and dull. I miss the Arkham Knight series they could of really let it evolve into a lot more but very much satisfied with the series as well.
