I love this one’s design; in addition to everything you demonstrated, if made into an airfoil, it could be thrown long distances like an actual boomerang (real boomerangs aren’t meant to come back, but fly really really far and accurate)!
Depends on what they were designed to hunt. If you're hunting kangaroos or emus you want something that breaks big bones and can be thrown from outside the target's detection range. If you're hunting species of birds that travel in flocks and have evolved with the confidence that many eyes is plenty of protection you want something you don't have to chase because you can stay in a hiding spot and hit them until you have enough that you can walk out and collect your meal regardless of being spotted.
@@ducjduck I used CAD and solidwork, autodesk and inventors before for roughly 3 years... the user experience for the maker 3D is bad because it is on the website. The interface is unusable.

Can we take a solid minute to appreciate James batarang throwing skills? I mean, popping that balloon while taking advantage of the arc's trajectory was kinda mindblowing, ngl Can we get a "How to throw a batarang" video? 😂

I get so jelly of guys with access and the knowledge to make whatever with these machines. It's the coolest thing ever. I would love to make a foldable batarang. Maybe not that nice but I'm going to try. That needs to be sold or more available
there's one bat gadget that you guys still didn't explorated, the gliding (break fall) cape. I have some ideas but you guys have the resorces, would be cool to see what hacksmith crew has in mind about it.

@@ocastanho621 base jumpers use specialized parachutes but lower height your talking about a glide suit or wing would have to be massive to disrupt the air flow to slow you down enough to not go splat .

From a tactical perspective, the fact that this batarang can be used as a Karambit-style knife when folded up and thrown over a pretty good distance when unfolded makes it very effective at both long-range and close-quarters combat... ... WHICH MIGHT BE WHY I LIKE IT SO MUCH!!! Tell me if you agree. Peace out!!!
don't get me wrong, it is very cool and Bogdan did a fantastic job but I would be skeptical of the practicality of a weapon that requires you to grip a sharp blade in order to throw it. Seems like it'd be easy to hurt yourself during the wind up/throw

They were throwing from about the same distance. Its notable that only the more distant target (Joker) was getting the sharp end of the batarang and sticking. I bet that if each of them took a step or two back or forward we'd see more sticking. Small trick I learned from axe throwing. :)
You guys should make the batman gauntlets like in the movie they have a little grapple pistol that pops out from the forearm to the hand similar to an assassins creed hidden blade.

It's a wings suit which are used often . Go look at video from the army Golden Knights ( paratroopers)
