You're Late October

A little Halloween ditty…. I had been messing around with a classic rock song and took part of it, changed it completely, and then used that new thing as the basis for this song - extra points if you can guess the classic song I was playing with.
A lot of sounds here are a combo of Prophet Rev 2 and Pro-800. The bass adds in some Poly D and the Poly D was used for all of the electronic percussion. The Pro-800 plays the ghostly lead lines. An old Viscount digital piano is the solo. A few instruments add acoustic percussion: a cajon (two passes - "bass" and "snare"), a tambourine and a shaker. And, of course, my voice.
This was a weekend project. The instrumental arts were all recorded on Saturday and I wrote and recorded the vocals one part at a time.
