I had a 10k PR this weekend! It was all part of the training--runs, stretches and all!! Thanks, Ash! My 200m ending sprint definitely left my calves crispy but this got them all ironed out 🎉
Really love the concept of "processing the intensity of our run". It feels like a moment of gratitude, awe. Even a "gentle" run is still a feat for the body so I really appreciate your gentle cool downs to care for myself and my body 🤗
Thank you so much. I’m so glad you can really connect to that element of my videos and my overall message really. We do put lots of intensity through our brain/body and don’t ever really stop to process it. Thanks as always for your comments 😊
This was just what I needed after a big leg day to make sure I don’t have crispy hammies for my run tomorrow! Thanks for always taking good care of us, Ash!
Ash, thank you so much for this video! I’m new to running and have been using your videos before and after runs and you’ve been such a big help. Your disposition in these videos is always so calming and encouraging and as someone with chronic pain issues, you’ve helped me so much in reevaluating how I view the function of stretching in my day to day life. I’ve been coming back to your videos almost daily even when I’m not running just to spend some time stretching, and it’s so helpful. Today’s run went well but at the very end, my calf got super tight! I came to your channel as always to do a stretch and the perfect video was waiting for me. These stretches helped right away. I look forward to these stretches as much as I do each run, so thank you ☺️
Oh wow Ray!! I’m incredibly humbled by your comment, thank you so much for taking the time to let me know how you have been using my videos and how they’ve helped you. Well done for creating a routine that is caring for your mental and physical wellbeing as you suffer from the daily challenges of chronic pain. I am so grateful to that my videos have been able to connect with you and it makes me feel like I am achieving my passion of helping people care for themselves better so that we can live better and run better. Thank you again for your support 🙏😊
This is spot on. His demeanor and attitude towards stretching is extremely helpful. Chronic pain can be such a mental challenge and when I heard "remember to keep a smile on your face" it somehow made the stretching that much more enjoyable. Keep at it brother. You're helping the world more than you realize. Thank you.
Thanks Ash. I’ve been returning to your videos more and more to work through issues I’m having on my ultramarathon training journey. Much appreciated!!!
Thanks again for this video Ash! My calves are way better now. They’ve been super tight after last Saturday’s 5 miles + 40 minutes aerobic steps combo, so been coming back to this video every day since, and have been stop myself from going for a run again until I feel at least 90% better. Done stretching and heading to your day 3 balance challenge now 😄
Thank you Ash for your tips on how to take care of your body after running. Not only physically but also mentally. I always have very professional and pleasant stretching with you❤
Thats so great to know this is helping you! Glad it was helpful for your recovery, I appreciate you stretching with me and commenting as always, thank you 🙏😀
Thanks so much for the video! I have always been a runner but have never looked after my body in the way of stretching and recovery - mostly because I didn't know how to and had no idea where to start. I have recently come across your videos and they have changed running for me! So very helpful. Thankyou!
Oh wow, that’s so great to read your comment Ann. Thank you 🙏 I’m so glad that I have been able to help you create a post run recovery routine that helps you care for your body. Well done for being consistent with your stretching 🙌🏻😊
So glad I could help you after your long run yesterday Christian. It’s an area of tightness for us runners isn’t it, so I’m glad this hit the spot for you 👍🏻
Oh my goodness, Thank you so much for this! I over did my leg workout and my hamstrings were too tight and starting to cramp. This helped me out alot ❤

THX a lot for your great work here! I`ve got a question ceoncerning your stretching videos: is it necessary to practice them directly after running or even helpful later at the same day, as for an example: running in the afternoon, stretching in the evening?
Thank you for stretching with me and commenting 🙏 yes you can do them anytime that suits you because they are dynamic so the movement warms cold muscles. We reshape our body with stretching so it tends not to matter too much when the stretch is done 😊
Glad this was just what you needed Anna👍 thank you for commenting 😊 great body awareness to feel that about your calves and well done for coursing on them. With time and consistency they will lengthen 👍🏻

Hi Ash will these help a minor mcl niggle
I would get it checked out if you haven’t already Steve. Then strengthening thighs and bum (quads and glutes) will help support the knee 👍🏻
