Where in Australia can I buy from? Thanks in advance.
Just got it through your link. Thanks for the video and hack. They say I should get it today. So I can’t wait to use it! I have been holding out from buying this thing since 2015 😂. And I’m just now getting around to buying it. It seems like with age my allergies have gotten worse. So it makes more sense now.
I got sinus surgery not long ago and it helped and then I bought this navage. After using it I have never breathed through my nose so clearly in my life until now. It works!
Just bought my unit. This morning, the water went through really quickly and I felt like I needed a second go. Mixed up salt water in my traditional neti pot, opened the top of the Navage and popped the used pod out. Poured the mixed solution into the Navage up to the fill line, popped the used pod back in, tripped the upper switch as shown in your video, closed the lid, and I was back in business. I probably *will* buy pods, but not for every time I use it. So far it seems to get better results than my traditional neti pot and squeeze bottle.
0ver 50 years of serious allergies resulting in at least one or two sinus infections a year. Several years ago I got a Navage because my physician told me to use ay netty pot and I hate them. Seriously the best thing for decreasing congestion, infections, and overall improved breathing. But I also noticed that on days when the CPAP left my nose/sinuses a bit dry, a quick run of the Navage moistens it right back up. I have never regretted this purchase.
Hey Jimmy, really appreciate this comment mate. Great to hear it's working well for you and thousands of other
😅llll
I just tried mine for the first time and yes! It's exactly what I needed. 😊
Love the Aussie humor and down home tutorial. Awaiting my Navage in the mail. I suffer from chronic nasal infections due to chemotherapy treatments. Hoping this will work! Excellent video mate, thanks for your efforts! G'Day from North America!
I buy those Neil-Med saline powder packs which you can get really cheaply. I have an 8-ounce water bottle I fill with warm water, add the saline powder packet and shake for 10 seconds - Then pour it in the machine and save money.
Another alternative is using a big syringe with a separately sold nasal tip to fit in and I use the off the shelf normal saline water..... Yet using an automatic machine is pretty good if one can afford it.
Thanks Nicko for the hack, much appreciated.
I use one of these when I get head colds or get really stuffed up during allergy season. The hack will save you money in the long run and will make it easier to travel with in the future without having to pack the saline Pods especially if flying via a plane.
Cheers Mate...
Ordered mainly based on your review, thanks a ton!
Did it work for you?
Thanks for sharing mate. Come across this video accidentally while looking for somewhere to buy these pods. Accidentally left the pods behind in the US and haven’t been able to find the pods anywhere in Australia. This hack is genius. Will give it a go today. Thanks mate and Go Pies!!!!!
The things you do for your channel. You are a brave man.
haha, in what way?
Using that machine multiple times for the video
Dont forget to rinse the white mechanism switches after use. The salt can crystalise in them and prevent the on switch from working.
I love mine had a head cold for 4 days and used it for 2 days and cleared me right out!😊
It may be overkill, but I get chronic sinusitis about every 3mons. Its exhausting and sometimes the neti pot/bottle doesnt do it. You've convinced me to go for it.
Did you get it? 😱
I met a veteran once who had the same problem and a regular neti pot wasn't helping him, his doctor told him to buy the squeeze bottle and shoot the solution hard in so that it will reach into the cavities where the infection is. I suggest you visit an otorhinolaryngologist and see what they say, they may have a more modern and effective solution as well.
@freewithnature yes! I bought it and it's been very helpful.
@Alex-ny1qg I wish they would advise more. I'm sensitive to a lot of things and my allergies are terrible. Easily having triggers. But not long after this comment I had to have my sinuses scraped and allergy shots started. This is after two rounds of leviaquin and methylprednisolone. Unfortunately, my ENT has seen me quite a bit the last two years.
@alyr7443 sorry to hear that you have is so rough. Hopefully with this new device you will get better, I suggest you do before the seasons some rinsing just to be sure and you could also try good grade hydrogen peroxide solution for rinsing your sinuses, you can look online about details but I suggest to buy a 3% solution and use it diluted with destined water, or boil the tap water for at least 3 minutes on the stove to kill all bacteria and then create a 1.5% solution each time you rinse.
Another way to help you is to get NRT(Nasal release technique) it's a balloon inserted into your sinus which then is pumped with air for just a second and it expands and creates a cranionasal release which helps with sinusitis among a plethora of other things. But of course visit a specialist for this.
I hope you will get relief or even better greet completely cured .
I’m using NeilMed Sinus Rinse it seams it does the same thing but all u have to do is squeeze the the bottle and open your mouth ( same deal withe water) it’s much easier you should do a review on it Btw great videos Mate!
He has
Returned mine. It's a racket to sell saline. Switched to a SinuPulse Elite. Haven't had a sinus infection in nearly a year and can use any saline product.
Does the sinupulse elite have more suction power? My right sinus is pretty clogged but will allow air to exit just not enter so even though I adjusted this unit correctly it doesn't seem to have quite enough suction to pull the water through the right side. That's why I'm curious if the other unit has more power
Giving you more 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾 up. Just purchased and waiting for it to be delivered
Thanks from Nova Scotia, Canada.....great job explains & had a great laugh too!
I use a cracked pepper solution myself. Thank you for the hack.
😂😂😂😂 Good man Nicko. Your dedication to the cause knows no bounds. 👊
Hahaha ain't that the truth! About to 'splint' my nose this week. Should be fun times
Appreciate the two views of assembly.
How about a video showing us how a nail trimming device operates? Cheers matey!
Hey Nicko, I used a couple of drops of super glue to permahack.. worked a treat 😂
Oh i love that idea! I'll give it a try buddy
Thanks man. Good explanation and hack. I just used it. Seems good so far. Easier and cleaner than a netipot. Let's see how long the relief lasts tho. I have bad allergies. Thanks 👍
Just got mine! Omg I can breathe now! I won’t lie it freaked me out first a second lol
Love the video mate. This device has done me wonders
Thanks for the great comment buddy. Glad you enjoyed it. Cheers
I loves having this on Saturday when I got my poor ol nose. Takes the gear right out!!!!
Wouldn't mind that right now. Nose is fucked
Super hilarious, I'm digging the content... going to buy one.
Defo need one after a few days of hitting the slopes mate
That device will eliminate the use of a lot of damaging nasal sprays. Looks more efficient than a Neti Pot.
Something to consider. Thanks for the demo Nick.
Would you do a video on various sleep apnea pillows. Noticed a big improvement in results since using mine. Like to hear what you say on getting a correct one as they can be an expensive mistake. I think mine could be more comfortable, esp. for my shoulders Thanks.
Nicko, know exactly how you feel after a new baby, seems like just yesterday. Mine are 16 and 18. LMFAO. You look like I feel! Great job buddy, keep up the good work.
Another win for Canadian ingenuity. I buy the salt pods from them as I'm from Canada and want to support their company. I probably should use it more than I do.
I think $100 for a water pump is fair support. I got no problem with them selling pods but don't make me buy them! Cheers
Dude. Your face in the thumbnail pic 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Sofa king funny and likely something I'd do as well.
Anyway, thanks for your review. I got one but unfortunately it doesnt seem to have enough suction for my shnoz/sinusitis issues. Ima try again a few times at least to see what happens
I appreciate your great review 👍👍👍
I used this before and loved it! But, today, when I tried it, nothing got sucked into the lower tank. It just started backing up and shooting outta the top. Guess I'm 100% blocked on the left side, which really sucks... But, normally this thing works amazingly well.
I loved your review, funny and insightful. Thank you!!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Should be called nosespresso 😂
The hanks for the hack!
Great video!!! And thanks for the hack. Wow they just keep going up on the price. But how horrible I feel whenever my allergies start acting up makes me want to pay any price. I literally get hay fever within a few hours if I don’t stop my nose from itching and running. It’s a terrible thing. And unfortunately my dogs have caused me to develop a dog allergy so yeah I’m suffering a lot.
Thank you , this was extremely helpful. The hack is great❤
Love mine. Bought the pods for years but recently “hacked” it to fill with regular distilled water and a saline wash packet of salt. Much cheaper
Please share how to hack thx!
@@tarynkathleen3699 cut out the outline of the salt pod so it still fills the ring in the unit. Then you have to manually press a notch under the lid. There are some videos online
the fact that you have to buy salt pods is the reason i haven't bought a navage yet. perhaps i will now
Thank you.
35g of kosher salt to a us gallon (3.78 litres) makes the same concentration as required. Or 9.26g per litre.
Thank you buddy👍🏾
@@bradleymiller8623 you’re welcome mate. I’ve been using this ratio for a few years now, it works out great. Buy a gallon of distilled water, measure out your salt, add to water and away you go! All the best!
Thinking about getting one, well my wife wants me to get one. I also use a cpap to help me sleep. The one think that you didn’t do include was - how it feels while doing it. ?? Thanks so much.
3:13 I use boiled, cooled tap water in my humidification chamber. Our tap water is chlorinated so the boiling and cooling drives off the chlorine which irritates my nasal passages.
Chlorine drives off? Like in a car?
Sorry to tell folks. This system is better then the others.
Do you have link that ships to Australia mate?
I just started CPAP Therapy about 1 month ago. Haven’t had a cold or allergies since then yet. I was wondering what other people on therapy did when they get a little under the weather. I only have a small nasal mask right now. I might look into one of those machines because that was one huge worry for me. How would I breathe with a minor cold let alone a flu?
It's always good to have a full face mask for when you are sick. Make sure you dial in your own pressure range if you are using Auto pressure. My doctor set me up on 5 to 16 and that was horrible! I got my machine a year ago. I kept raising my starting pressure over the first few months. Now I'm super happy with a range of 10 to 12. I get way better sleep with a small pressure range. 5 was way to low for me so half the night I wasn't at the pressure I needed.
@@KPHVAC that’s good to know. I didn’t know we can dial in our own pressure. I thought we had to stay with the prescribed pressure. I think my pressure is too to because I feel like it’s sometimes a real effort to breathe. I’m still a newbie. Thanks for the info!
@@cptcurk192 You are supposed to talk to your doctor but yes you can learn how to get into the clinical menue on your machine and change pressures. My sleep doctor is terrible. I basically learned everything I need to know and made the CPAP therapy work for me.
Looks like a good system - may try it out, and thanks for the hack! My current before sleep procedure is 2 shots of Flixonase (fluticasone proprionate) up each nostril followed by a hot shower. The combination of the nasal spray and steam loosens much of the gunge which can be blown out. It's not perfect but works most nights.
Interesting. I use the Flucatisone after rinsing my sinuses. I was prescribed Veramyst many years ago for allergies and eventually my insurance company (US medical "system") refused to pay for it and I found that generic Flucatisone was all I needed, not the expensive proprietary product she had prescribed. One of the reasons I left that doctor.
My current before sleep procedure is 2 shots of Jim Beam Gold
@@aaa7189 1 for each nostril? That's gotta sting!
Thanks for the hack secret! 👍
You bet!
Batteries? Normal salt and bicarb for the hack?
What kind of water do you use ? Distilled?
When you have severe allergies, this saves so much discomfort. After I got Covid my allergies were out of control, probably because the nasal hairs were all destroyed, due to the bruning infection it caused. Its an on going condition.
¿Does it go all into your ear canal?
Well I did everything according to instructions except I pushed the pod down myself before I closed the door. I guess I need to start over because the button won’t work.
Can you use super glue on those two switches?
I love mine.
Since the body adapts to whatever you do to it, do you think the body would become dependent on it?
I have lots d saline iv bags at work. It’ll save me money 😅
You haven’t talked about cleaning it.
Where is everyone in Australia buying theirs from? I can't find it available in Australia.
Interesting. I've been using the Neilmed bottle for many years. I don't need to replace them every 3 months, even though they suggest it. I actually have an excess of bottles because I buy them as a kit on a good sale at Costco. This might do a more through cleaning. I suppose your hack would also allow me to just use the less expensive saline packets from Neilmed in it. Obviously these folks aren't sponsoring you! At least not after offering that hack!
Um...did I miss the second part of the hack, you know---the one that gives the recipe/proportion of water/dissolved salt to use?
why would you buy saltwater pods when you can make you own?
IS THIS PRODUCT STILL AVAILABLE
The idea of douching my nose just sounds horrible! Maybe if i was sick and really stuffed up. I certainly wouldn't do this every night. It has to have some negative effects if you use it everyday!
$100 here in the USA but goddam is it worth it. Game changer.
Don’t you love it, when you have sinus congestion and he starts talking like that 😂😂
I just got one a month ago
It works really well! Don't like how you can't use it without the pods though
really, what about showers...
I keep getting water down my throat! Is it still working?
Little late to the party, It could of been flase information but I seen overdoing the rinse can actually damage your nasal passages 🤧 I mean.. Im a doctor as of 3 minutes ago. Id know
Nah it's true! Like everything in life though. Don't over do it
It’s definitely an oops when you forget to put the warm water in first before the pod. 😢 I’ve done it 2-3 times and didn’t want to waste the pod and was forced to double up since I didn’t know the hack. But that won’t happen again.
How is it different from a neti pot
I use mine before bed and in the mornings. I us a 32 oz glass bottle and mix a large amount and just leave it by the bathroom sink. weather I shower in the morning or before bed I do it just after. Try in and out of both nostrils, for me it works much better going into my left.
Is this much more effective than the bottles you squeeze that are only a few dollars at the drug store?
I prefer it over the bottles... I feel like the combination between the water flow and suction definitely help clear me out more than the bottles 😊
unavailable in Europe, as usual
The salt packs that come with the Navage are pretty crummy. I rigged my Navage to work without the packs and use my own mixture and it works a hell of lot better. Oil of oregano, Redmond’s salt and tree oil.
Does that motor run on batteries. I just bought mine today I wish I had this along time ago. I hate sneeze attacks
I just use my Neti Pot with pharmaceutical grade salt. No expensive gadgets and works like a charm.😉
Aerosol sailing
Anyone know if this will help with nasal polyps?
Hello Nick, for those doing the cable tie hack, does the person add something like a teaspoon of salt to the water to achieve the same result?
That was a rather disconcerting video but such is life. 😂
Yes, you can use neti pot salt. Don't use table salt.
Still like it after a year???
How do I stop the saline from going in my throat ?
What about battery life?
I love the idea but man that screams bacteria after couple uses, how on earth can you sanitize it? Again great idea but would be scared to ingest nasty bacteria into my sinuses.
There are definitely instructions for cleaning it, and navage also sells a cleaning kit with a couple pieces that will help 😊
@@xtina22e I will read up more on it, I have seen it at the store and really want to try it out to help my sinus issues. Guess I just need to know how to clean it so it remains safe after use.
@@SubSonicDistortion I'm pretty sure the navage website or maybe even TH-cam has videos on how to clean it 🥰... All I know is this device has been a game changer for my sinuses 🥰 best wishes!!
@@xtina22e I am excited to try it, as someone who suffers daily with sinus issues anything that can help my days improve is worth trying, thanks for the feedback. 😃
Is it any better than a regular neti pod though? If so, why?
I am looking into the navage. I have a cold and the water from the neti pot won't flow through.
PLEASE help me, I have tried it 4 times, I guess I am doing it wrong, nothing is going into the bottom tank.
Is this available in Australia? I imported one from the US a couple of years ago. Paid an arm and a leg for it. It worked for a while and then the battery compartment got flooded. Had to throw it away. So went back to the plastic bottle.
You should have poured the bottom tank of water ….with all of your giblets swimming around….to a pot of chicken noodle 🍜 soup for seasoning!😜😂😂😂
Do you have to replace the batteries sometime? My system is not working full strength, in fact it is NOT working properly, and I think batteries should be changed. I just bought it 1 month ago. What do you suggest?
The water doesn’t circulate through to the bottom I almost swallow. What am I doing wrong?
Mine always goes in my throat! Help
Try opening your mouth and pushing your tongue up to the roof of your mouth... That's how it seems to work for me 🤷🏽♀️
navage out her punching air with his hack
Can you use bottles water
Yes purified
VERY VERY VERY IMPORTANT! THIS PRODUCT IS FSA AND HSA ELIGIABLE! YOU DO NOT HAVE TO SPEND YOUR POCKETM ONEY ON IT IF YOU HAVE AN FSA OR HSA!!!!!
I use the NeilMed salt packets and distilled water along with the YT hack I found. Waaaaay cheaper!
Cheaper aint always better
@@CPAPReviews NeilMed is a highly respected manufacturer of Saline packets and also sell their own NetiPot. In this case, cheaper IS better!
@@Equinox051256 Yeah its the same process, flushing out the sinuses, i agree with this cheaper method
“Aww, Look at that” 😂
i have a airsense 11... Can I add something to the water for better breathing...I often wake up with my nose blocked. Sorry i use a translator
Just got it and I can’t get it to empty in the reservoir. It’s keeps going down my throat!!!
Suggestions?
Same issue for me
The salt used is the same as used in a neti pot. It's a lot cheaper. Don't use table salt.
I use cocaine in mine , works great!
