Thanks for the how-to. I get to do the same job for a customer tomorrow, except his tank is covered in a layer of silt and rust. Had to replace the gauge because it was rusted so bad the cork couldn't move. New carb and fuel lines, clean tank and gauge. Good to know I don't have to remove the seat from the trim because I'm working in a tight space. Thanks!
I have two holes in my fuel tank to but only one has a fuel line entering it in the other just has a rubber plug. I pulled the plug out to check it out and now I can’t get it to fit back in tight. Any recommendations?
