    Nice job mate. I rode the new one and the suspension wasn’t as bad as some said. It is a bit stiffer than my 2018 speedy RS! I have had the suspension set up for me and it is Lovely! Plush yet still handles brilliantly! More than enough power for my old bones and the SC project cans sound absolutely gorgeous! I’ll be keeping mine for the rest of my days! That good.

    Suspension was backed off because these have been criticised as being too harsh. Seems Triumph knows this. Perhaps they will make some running changes and soften it off a bit overall.

      @jasonleverton3656 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Seems the 2022s are already softer! I'm only 160 lb (170/175 with gear) and still have a few reb/ com clicks softer if I wanted. Amazing handler!!!

      @@jasonleverton3656 do you think they have changed them after the criticisms?

      @@CorvusHyperion possibly, seems other vloggers/ testers have better things to say about the suspension than the first few that surfaced...

    Re the display, that’s the one thing I don’t look at whilst making progress but then I’m old enough to remember analog dials and no gear indicator

    I think I'm going to have to avoid test riding the new Speedy Triple. My debt levels can't cope with anymore expenditure.

    One possible advantage of a 3 cylinder vs. a 4 is the potential for more torque. I've an MT-10 and I get the sense the Yamaha is as good if not better when tooling along through town below 3,000 rpm. Of course above three is better but it is nice to move along without shake and shudder and lower engine noise. I see the Triumph has more torque but apparently its to no advantage, at least not down at the low end. Am I reading too much into your Vlog experience? Have you ridden four cylinder bikes through town that were smoother than the Triumph in this rev range?

  • @mr.kneeslider
    @mr.kneeslider 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Cool, was thinking of the GoPro chesty... looks so much smoother than if on the helmet.. hat it when the rider moves his or her head all the time 🤣🤣🤣🤣

    It’s a brilliant bike but not for commute, it’s ok but on the open roads it’s incredible! I just wish the suspension was softer !

    You passed so many lovely places to eat and drink. You could have eaten on the terrace by a castle, or by the riverside, or on a barge floating on the canal , or overlooking a reservoir, or in the shadow of interesting examples of man’s engineering achievements, or outstanding mountainside views, or next to an Iron Age lakeside dwelling, or sea views..yet you picked a petrol station for lunch! You asked what we want to see ... ideas for nice places to ride to! 😎

    Mate, there must be something wrong with your chest-mounted GoPro... it keeps bluring up the dash above 50mph... 😂😂😭😭🤣🤣👌🏼
    I’d love to see you riding a Scrambler XC through some of these gorgeous green-lanes you’vê got there...
    Or perhaps some other models from the BMW lime-up, like the 850 GS Adventure... being more affordable, how does it compare to its bigger sis you recently review? ...in the real world, out of the press-biikes review, budgets/prices/Money takes a bigger role on us John-do’s choices that what one would wish... but that’s LIFE for us, the inspired but poor 😜😜😜🤪😉✊🏼✌🏼⛩🇵🇹

    So if I'm going to drop a fair bit of $$, what's the pick? Looking at the Super-nakeds - Ducati Streetfighter, Triumph Speed Triple, KTM 1290? Or something else?

    I guess you will not want to comment, but how MCN's Neevsey didn't have the idea to try and back off the adjustable suspension settings sure beats me.
    I assume he knows how this stuff works ? I'm a relative newbie, and I realise there is adjustable suspension for a reason !

    I see whatever you ride you normally have your Beeline fitted, is there a MotoBob video where you review this device? There aren’t that many reviews on TH-cam so would welcome your opinion, as always! 🇬🇧🏍

    wildlife hazard. In a wooded section I once had rudolf and his mate decide to almost come out on me . Rudolph, I assume got a bit of a red nose as he knocked the soft sw motech pannier off. Fortunately I managed to keep it rubber side down. But yes, I now take notice of reindeer signs !

    re 10:57 "back lanes that are less frequently maintained" . Well Yeah !
    I guess this could be one of the reasons why some riders end up on adventure bikes, they don't want the fillings in their teeth shaken loose !
