    Baking them on the cool side first before searing them over direct heat produced the best chicken I've ever grilled. Thank you!

      Yeah, I love doing that, gives them a nonstick texture before moving them over direct heat.

    Great presentation. Your instructions are so thorough that I'd feel brave enough to try grilling something I otherwise would be intimidated to attempt. You make things seem do-able to an inexperienced person such as myself. Good job, and thank You.

    Honestly man hands down the best grilling videos out. Been smoking and grilling along time but these vidz allow me to go back to basic fundamentals and I have to say it still teaches me

      Hello Robin. Thanks for the compliment. I do cater to the beginner and I think one of my “issues” is folks will outgrow my channel… it’s great to know that even the seasoned griller can get something out of these videos.

    Did you put the rub in the marinade?

    • @Viewtoagrill
      @Viewtoagrill  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I put some rub in the marinade and then lightly seasoned the chicken again when I removed it from the marinade.

    Man 😢. I tried this today and went wrong somewhere. I tried following as close as possible to your guide but to begin with the breasts were huge. I pounded them out as much as i could. Marinated, seasoned, and got the pit going. I dont have a thermometer on my weber so i dont really know the temp in there. I had a hot side and a cooler side. I started on the cooler side but after like 14 minutes i had an internal temp of 120 or so. I moved them to the hot side ans did the flippy things and moved them back to the cool side and they were then reading in the mid 150s. I dont know why but i panicked a bit and didnt want to lose my heat inside the pit so started moving them back to the hot side and when i finally got my internal temp to 165 the chicken was a burnt piece of junk. The inside looked ok but had no flavor. I used a full large weber chimney of briquettes with the weber baskets dividing the sides. Your a great teacher I just feel like I suck at BBQing

      Blame that one on me. I am better at making videos now so I have an updated video. This is a different recipe but I feel like I explain it better in this video.

    Please advise people not to use those wire brushes to clean grill. A child died because they found one 😢wire from a grill brush in his intestine which caused internal bleeding. I still see them for sale at Dollar Stores etc. wish they were outlawed. That said I think I will definitely have better grilled chicken breast on my Webber thanks to you.

      Hello Sarah. You will be happy know that in all of my newer videos I use CitruSafe to clean my grills exactly for that reason.
