@@dazeflower MRI is magnets so there’s no radiation unlike X-ray. But there was an article that showed MRI techs after 5 years had a significant increase compared to other techs to have an increase in depression because over time the magnets mess with your brain chemicals. But for someone like me who is a little more susceptible to cancer I don’t want the radiation exposure from X-ray
@@mattmay4112 I heard that you’re exposed to more radiation taking a flight from California to NYC than you are doing x-ray every single day all day for 2 years straight lol. Don’t know how true that is, but if that’s the case, then I would imagine there’s very minimal health risk.
Can someone please explain me what is the difference between MRI technologist and Radiologist Technologist? And which is one is the better one? I heard if you study only MRI technologist, you can only work with MRI. But if you study Radiation technologist you can learn MRI and it’s easier to transfer to MRI, is that true? Thank you to anyone responding.
I dont know how I feel about filming at work but ig if you get all your crap done and cause no problems its fine but like uhh i love this channel so I'm going to shut up
I want to be crossed trained MRI and CT or I wanted to do fluoroscopy or mammography how would one go about that route? Also what do hours look for you on a daily/weekly basis?
I have to get sa dated with the loud sounds and I move to much I have a brain tumor called optic glioma Edit : I just got a mri today and girls are just- I had to get a preg----- AT TEN YEARS OLD WHEN I DONT EVEN HAVE A BOYFRIEND OR LIKE ANY BOY PERIOD? !!
most states you will have to do a 2 year radiography/ x-ray tech program then take an additional year of mri tech, so try looking for radiography and x-ray tech programs :)

Thanks for showing what you do! I’m thinking about what modality to get into after I get my X-ray tech certification done, might do MRI!
I’ve been thinking MRI for myself because of radiation concerns
@@mattmay4112 are MRI safer than x ray?

Is it stressful working alone?
Is it hard to find a hospital job?
Thanks!

Why is it a better day without contrast?
Maybe because she didn’t have to put any IVs in? That would be my guess.
No need to place cannulas in the patients and also contrast can cause symptoms and risks of anaphylaxis which would be very stressful.
oh no. a bug. problems.
I hate both contrast and MRI’s people who has both will understand
Hallo dear I am studying in imaging technology. And your country given the monthly payment how much and which country belongs to 😍
The bug attack was disgusting? You do enemas 😂
Where did you study to become an MRI tech? My boyfriend wants to be one but it's hard to find programs.
