We are witnessing some kind of technology "tipping point" in China. All the new breakthroughs like 5G, 6G, EV, metallurgy and quantum computing are built on decades of improved education, better living standard, urbanization, industrialization, new infrastructures, ... Long term planning and execution of the plans are essential elements to China's successes.
In the United States Chinese technology is both dismissed as irrelevant and ridiculed as inferior and at the same time declared as a threat to national security.
Technology advance one step at a time. One simple idea can inspire next big thing. Think about it, if Steve Jobs gave up on Apple Newton way back when, there won't Apple iPhone later. Chinese scientists and entrepreneurs are having more creative and innovative capacity.
The cultures that happens every time (into my own practice) and is always the end of my swim. Do I need more water or vitamins? But the scary thing is that all these things are made possible by young Asian inventors. Just take a look at nasa scientists and engineers/technicians and compare them with CNSA! One is a dinosaur! 🤔
In the United States, they will call some of the stuff as wacky tech. But I can see stuff like this integrated into AI machinery. And currently it's almost impossible for Chinese software to enter the global market, tiktok ban is in the US Court system at the moment.
