There is still a terrible noise issue in the 6000 series. I could see it very well in the photos you took. Thanks for this video.

Have you ever had any issues with this camera lense combination? I've heard from other people an issue with the ibis and lens oos.

I get few comments like that, but personally I have not seen any issues neither taking photos nor when shooting videos.

Really cool video. Couldn't see the presets on your site? And, do you ever get people shouting at you when you take pictures of them? I'm always too worried!!

Thank you! I am currently traveling in Asia and didn’t manage to publish the presets on my website but they are coming very soon! And all these times ive done street photography, I haven’t had one bad experience. Worst case is someone shaking their head or putting hand up signaling they don’t want pictures taken of them but thats about it :)

Hi, have you been using this lens for video also? I can see some info under different YT videos that a6700 and Tamron cannot work together properly, because both of them has IBIS and when you are recording the videos, it leads to unnecessary shakes time to time. Have you experienced anything like this? If yes, how have you fixed it? Thanks!

    • @TomsJurjaks

I haven’t heard such claims. I’ve used a bit for videos but didn’t notice anything weird. Will pay a closer attention and get back to you if I find something odd

Hello Toms, I have been a follower of your channel for a time and they have helped me a lot!
I would like to know your opinion, I come from a Sony 6000 and a Canon 77D (both APSC) and I want to jump to a Full Frame (Sony A7ClI - portability), but the a6700 looks great…
...I love the small, light optics I use with the APSC (I have 18-55 - 2.8 SIGMA / 35mm 1.4 SIGMA / 56mm 1.4 SIGMA), since the main use I give them is amateur for travel and street.
I know that you use both APSC and Full Frame and I would love your opinion with 3 specific questions...
    1. Is it worth the jump in quality from an APSC 6700 to a Full A7CII?
2- Do you have any recommendations of Light lenses for Full Frame?
3- Is it worth using APSC lenses in a full frame? (I understand the technical part perfectly, but experience and feelings are just as valuable)
I hope you can give me your comments, the opinion of an expert and of use is always to be taken into account and I really appreciate your time 🙏🏻

      @TomsJurjaks  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Hey buddy, sorry for finding your comment only now. Generally, I would say: Go the APSC way. I honestly don't see the benefits being impactful for the extra cash you need to spend for your specific use cases. Nevertheless, let me answer your questions:
      1. I will be making that exact video comparing these 2 cameras. The only difference in quality will be the megapixels. A6700 having 26 vs 33 on A7CII. I personally have never felt that 24 or 26mpix is too little so I dont see much of a benefit there. Slightly better low light performance? Must be. But ask yourself how often you shoot in low light and how much bit of noise matter to you (P.S. you can remove the noise easily in Lightroom now).
      2. You will need to sacrifice something for light lenses. For example, Sigma released a great "I" series linup with extremely compact prime lenses, but f-stop is usually around f2.0 or f3.5 etc. But it will be very hard to compare FF lenses to APSC lenses size wise.
      3. You sure can, and I sometimes do, especially for videos because my A7IV crops in when shooting 60fps, but if you will only use apsc lenses on your full frame camera, I really dont think its worth spending that extra money for the camera.
Hope it answers your questions! Cheers!

@@TomsJurjaks Hi dude. Thank you for taking time to answer my questions… I recently watched your video Is SONY A7CIl the BEST TRAVEL Camera? and together with your comments I will go for the APSC option, it is not worth the extra expense and I can use that difference in some other lens. I will be waiting for the video of the comparison between the 2 cameras 👌🏻
Thanks again for the advice, your channel is great and your content is really good.
If you ever travel to Mexico write to me, greetings and I wish so much success with your channel.
      Cheers

Muchas gracias amigo @@joseraulbecerril1389 and I think you are doing the right choice. The whole FF thing is a bit of an overstatement in my opinion - I feel like the industry is really pushing us to spend more cash but honestly, not worth it for most of us! Cheers and I have yet to visit your beautiful country!
