Of course the glovebox won’t close the car is mullered. I have had Jags for years and they have been bullet proof provided you look after them. The trouble is because like many luxury cars they fall into the hands of muppets who won’t/can’t afford to maintain them then trouble starts. Just got an F Pace SVR and it’s fabulous. By the way SVR stands for Special Vehicle Rating.
The GX means it's for xe,xf or f pace platform... the last letter at end is minor change revision and last but one letter can be different engine variant I think... I work with jlr exhausts and I don't think that exhaust is standard as the 575 one we make looks completely different to that.. I know janspeed make the one for svr range rover as its low numbers... The first bit of the part number GX73 defines the model, the middle part of the number defines what part it is and the first of the two letter defines the speck of the part and lastly the end letter tells you what level the part is, each time the part is superseded the last letter will go up
Part numbering is prefix, base, suffix. Prefix determines the model year, base is the part type, and suffix is the derivative of part. But if a number goes from AA to AB for example, it’s down to a change which has superseded the the old part. For interior parts there will be additional letters added to the end of the suffix, for example AB8PVJ. This relates to the colour 😉
He’s doing proper repairs documented by videos, while when you buy a damaged car without concrete proofs of rebuilding quality you never know how things were done

I was going to offer him what you paid too but I had a feeling the rack would be gone and after the quotes I got, plus the dashboards on these are hell to take out (I owned a V6 one 5 years ago). I was too scared in the end. I'll be picking up a non damaged one I intend to keep. Ill be watching this build with mega interest fair play good luck mate.

Ah Chris mate so glad you got a jag, I fucking love my xfr. As for build quality comments....I've daily drove my 60k 2014 xfr for 14 months now and nothing absolutely nothing has broken. You will love the 5.0 lump mate, the instant torque is......addictive 😈 👿 Great work buddy 👍 👏 Will be bringing my xfr back to you at some point to look at a scratch that's appeared to see what you can do with it if that's ok 👍
if you need anything checking in terms of part numbers or prices, let me know I work at a JLR site in york and worse case I can see what I can do in terms of discounts if you are struggling, as long as you are willing to travel 😂 good purchase for sure 👌

@chris_slix the dashboards are a whole unit held in with 6 bolts 2 on top behind a vent it’ll be under a cap and 2 either side of the dash I used to fit these daily in the factory
Most R parts will fit the SVR, as the R is the base car. Fitting 2l 4 banger parts won't work as they're basically XE parts. Parts won't be hard to get for this as Jag share so many parts between models you just need to know the range.
@@Chris_Slix look at the XF R-S, XK R-S and the facelift F type R. A lot of parts shared there including most suspension. You'd be surprised the amount of cross compatability
The 2 letters (suffix) at the end of the part number are made up of the first letter which is for the variant, and the second letter which is the revision level FYI.
@@Chris_Slix first letter of the prefix is the model year it was introduced mate. So an earlier letter is from an older version of the car. Bear in mind some letters like I get skipped.

I believe the bonnet is the same as all the other AWD F-Type’s and not specific to the SVR, apart from the vents. Also, yes the exhaust is titanium.
