Prince Solomon, with his closest man, Ibrahim Pargam Ibrahim receives the bad news in a hunt. His father Yavuz Sultan Selim Khan passed away. Prince Suleyman sets out for Istanbul without waiting. Prince Süleyman quickly reaches the capital. He attends the culus ceremony without waiting. His life changed in one day. He started his life as Sultan Süleyman.
Meanwhile, a galley loaded with slaves coming over the Black Sea is heading towards Istanbul. The hottest of the slaves is not yet aware that he is on a journey that will change his destiny. He is rebelling helplessly to return.
Sultan Süleyman wants to show what kind of sultan he is by the commands he gave on the first day of his sultanate. But not everyone will like these decisions. Sultan Süleyman does not hesitate to challenge all of Europe with the messages he sends.
Alex, despite all his rebellion, is brought to the Topkapi palace. His attitude attracted the attention of Valide Sultan from the first moment. But it won't be long before Alex learns the rules of the palace. He chooses a great target. Alex, Sultan Suleyman's first night on the way to attract his attention. Sultan Suleiman's wife Mahidevran just arrived from the palace of Manisa. He is looking forward to seeing his wife.
Şehzade Süleyman, en yakın adamı Pargalı İbrahim ile birlikte çıktığı bir avda alır kötü haberi. Babası Yavuz Sultan Selim Han vefat etmiştir. Bu sırada, Karadeniz üzerinden içi köle yüklü bir kadırga, İstanbul’a doğru gelmektedir. Kölelerden en ateşli olanı ise, kaderini değiştirecek olan yolculuğa çıktığının henüz farkında değildir. Geri dönmek için çaresiz bir şekilde isyan etmektedir.
Sultan Süleyman, padişahlığının ilk gününde verdiği buyruklarla nasıl bir padişah olduğunu göstermek ister. Ama bu kararlar herkesin hoşuna gitmeyecektir. Sultan Süleyman ise gönderdiği mesajlarla, tüm Avrupa’ya meydan okumaktan çekinmez.
Alex, tüm isyankarlığına rağmen, Topkapı sarayına getirilir. Onun bu tavrı ilk andan itibaren Valide Sultan’ın dikkatini çeker. Ama Alex’in sarayın kurallarını öğrenmesi uzun sürmez. Kendisine büyük bir hedef seçer. Alex, Sultan Süleyman’ın karşısına çıktığı ilk gecede onun ilgisini çekmeyi başarır. Sultan Süleyman’ın eşi Mahidevran ise Manisa sarayından yeni gelmiş. Eşi ile görüşmeyi sabırsızlıkla beklemektedir.

The actress who played mahidveran role is very professional. You can see the sadness in her eyes. Also, her face expressions are amazing. All of actors are great tbh. That's why I love this show😍
Everything is so gloomy darksome and sad with Mahidevran. Even her room shouts sadness and gloom. Unhappiness in one person
If Mahidevran stayed patient and didn't decide to poison them and stayed clever, stopped crying and complaining like a child then maybe she wouldn't get Hurrem to destroy her world

Hurrem didn't destroy her world, she's just stupid. Listen to what she said to Suleiman. It can be interpreted as 'I wish there was no promotion in your life because I can not grow with you in your new state'. Whereas Hurrem will go to him and say, my love, my ruler you are the best. Crying, demand and demeaning is not love.
@@kayodewa Mahidevran would try to at the start, but she realized he didn't enjoy her company at all, didn't smile at her or show love in her like he used to before so she quickly realized Sulieman had lost all his love for her already before she poisoned Hurrem or when Hurrem was said to be pregnant
If Mahidevran didn’t make it her life mission to destroy Hurrem she would’ve just ended up like Gulfem which is better than being despised and treated like a nuisance but not much better either.
Suleman can't get the image of Hurrem being with his child & being poisoned by Mahidervran in his private chamber on his table. He knows it could have been him that was poisoned. That would have been the ruin of his empire.
He gave his heart to Hurrem because she makes him smile and he loves her and she loves him.
A true love story.
Sadly Valide & Mahidervran constantly set traps to hurt Hurrem's & Suleman's love for each other. When they are separated from each other, they write love letters to each other💞 to keep their love alive. It's so romantic❣
Talking about poisons hurem has poisoned more than anyone else in this series especially with her words. Suleyman is kind of infactuated (bewitched i'd say) but if he truly loved her he would never feel for any other woman but in fact he did... as for hurem she is not capable of loving anyone including her own children, she see people as assets and interest in order to achieve the only thing she truly loves (POWER). So it is fair to call it possession, manipulation, game of thrones or even witchcraft... but to call it romantic is an insult to romance

When I first started watching the show I felt bad for Mahidevran and Hurrem. One longing for a lover who's interested in someone elsa and the other a slave longing to be free missing her family and homeland. It's sad that Mahidevran never took accountability for her actions, Hurrem was never her enemy until she made it so, her actions cause a never ending War that ultimately cause the death of her son. Follow the rules of the Harem and don't meddle , take care of your son and look to the future is all Mahidevran had to do smg Instead she chose violence and we know every action has a reaction.
I agree. Mahideveron was simply too self absorbed to see anyone but herself. Or anyone at all. There had to be a reason Sueliman wanted Hurrem and no longer wanted Mahideveron or anyone else.. But even if the reason was right in front of Mahideveron, she wouldn't have seen it. She had her whole life set in stone..nothing was going to change that. She would be Valide and Mustafa Sultan.

I always thought the main reason of Suleiman's rejection of Mahidevran was the fact he just stopped loving her, maybe he never did. Her vile actions in fact didn't have anything to do with it. And the whole thing with the poison was just an easy explanation.
I don't agree, Suleiman has been with Victoria and others too who he never loved..he could be with Mahi too even if he didn't love her but he chose not to...u can see that he went to other women too but never to Mahi so I think it was because of the poison.

I disagree. Her vile actions were front and center from the moment Mahi arrived at he palace. She poisoned the food Sueliman and Hurrem were served at their table. Hurrem was almost 9 months pregnant a and lied about what he nd she almost died. Then she beat and kicked Hurrem while she on the ground hoping to kill her.
When Sueliman saw how beaten up Hurrem was, black and blue she was, Sueliman was finished with Mahi. He ordered her banished from the Palace. But Valide wouldn't do it. Sueliman never had her for a halvet again. He couldn't even stand to have her touch him.
Suleiman was very territorial over his family (they represented the ottoman empire) and him, that someone not from the family would even think of trying something like that in his palace (even if she was the mother of one of his sons) was unforgivable. She could killed him and almost killed his unborn child, that's what he couldn't truly forgive, she was passing judgment and acting above her station

In some ways I feel so sorry for Mahidevran. But, she knew not to fall in love with a Sultan. The same for Hurrem.
Hurrem was extremely intelligent and happy disposition. Thats what Suliman loved about Hurrem. Mahidevran wasn't the brightest jewel in suliman treasury.
@@savantianprince Hurrem seemed like a breath of fresh air. She really had to do whatever she did to make sure her own sons weren't killed. ALOT of killing of brothers went on back then for a crown.

I think I’m lost cases, Mahidevran is in the wrong. Suilyman (I know I’m not spelling that right) has made it very obvious on multiple occasions that he is in love with Hurrem but still Mahidevran and Valide go out if they’re way to make her miserable just for being in love

We do need to remember she was an enslaved woman who deserved to be free and loved fully by one man like everyone else. Being enslaved and cheated on constantly would drive me mad too.
People here love to give mahi compliments about her bad doings and they call her a cry baby when they clearly know that they would've quit right in the very beginning if they were put in a situation like that.

The picture of Hurrem is not that pretty but Mahdievran one is very beautiful the artist did horrible . I wish Hurrem would of had a better picture she would beautiful sultan . It unfair that Mahdievran had pretty picture I don't like Mahdievran I love Hurrem.
But in reality Mahidevran was more beautiful. She’s said to have been one of the most beautiful women in the history of the Ottoman Empire actually. Hurrem was pretty too I guess but she didn’t remain in history like that, she’s more known for her charm and wits and happy spirit.

Well that's the difference between naive young kind of first love and the love when you already learnt your lessons (both Hurrem and Suleyman were already in love with different people before they met in this series). That's why you can replicate the same love people have as a childhood love.
