I think this is the point of the show where Suleiman develops his full trust in Hurrem. This act of love and utter devotion is the moment where he realizes Hurrem is his one and only. All the time before this scene it was a he said she said and Suleiman felt it necessary to come to Hurrem's defense purely out of love. But this is an actual take on history itself. The Ottoman Empire did exist at one point in time. Everyone in the Magnificent Century show did exist at one point in time. So what took place between the Saltan and Hurrem and Firuze and Princess Isabella actually happened. You can research the Ottoman Empire and Hurrem and everyone on this show for yourself. In the first episode, when mahideveran first shows up with mustafa and the sultan is too busy, I could sympathize with mahidevern. That went south right away after she showed her mean streak and would just start crying at the drop of a hat. She's also a bit of a coward.
Mustafa was such an asset to their empire (smart handsome brave charismatic well loved and a good soldier) his mother could’ve kept him alive longer if she didn’t insist on him being king - feel sorry for Mustafa 😢
If Hurrem was able to speak with Mustafa and get close to him they would have loved and respected each other but mahidevron poisoned any chance of that. Hurrem never got the chance to know the goodness and kindness of Mustafa.

Mustafa died because of too much greed and ambition in power of his mother Mahidevran Hatun but they are always blaming Hurrem sultan for all the terrible things happened to them....😅
People talk about how loyal was Hürrem to Suleyman, blame Mahidevran about terrible things she had, but when Hürrem tried to poison Mustapha through Efsun, while Cihangir was sick, everything is alright! Hürrem made all of these to survive, but Mahidevran not! Hürrem didn't want power for her and her kids, she loved Suleyman only!
@@daydreamer_55 Mahidevran had her faults too, but this didn't make Hürrem less guilty! Hürrem lied many times to Suleyman when she wasn't innocent and used her kids, especially Mihrimah, to get what she wanted!

Even if Mahidevran didn't plan to kill Mehmet or the other Hürrem's sons, Hürrem surely would have in her mind Mustafa's killing!!
Suleiman was a coward that he never tested his sisters, concubines& ibrahim' s loyalty the way he did with hurrem repeatedly Whatever happened when he,ibrahim n valide knew that mahi tried to poison suleiman& hurrem when she was pregnant with 1st child?? Wat was that called?? Wasnt that a murder..a cruelty?? Did suleiman& ibrahim forget that??
I was surprised when it turned out Sulaiman was just testing Hurrem’s conviction by leaving it up to her willingness to drink the fake poison😂 that’s all it took to reinforce his trust in her lol
There is a scene coming up that I love, where Suleiman is questioned about Hurrem's loyalty. Sulieman gets angry and defends Hurrem. He tells them that Hurrem drank poison for him, or he says something like that. Love that scene.
Tbf mahidevran and mustafa gave him a solid argument: near the death's door, efsun would not lie. That's why suleyman did it. He wanted to know what Hurrem would say when she's at the death's door
This was more to try and put his harem in order again. He trusted Hurrem but knew there'd be no peace for Mustafa and mahidevran if he did nothing. This test was enough to silence them, they had no proof beyond the dying words of his concubine that no other heard
I just think that was really cruel of him to do that to her. The look of betrayal and confusion in her eyes when she realizes that he tricked her and made her believe he would kill her. That was cruel.
Сулейман сволочь! Так жалко Хюррем! Потом еще лаского говорит, глаза закатывает после такого поступка! Плюнуть хочется, слюны жалко! А Хюррем еще обнимается...надо было здесь его проучить так же жестко! Как он!
Allas!!! Suleiman was grabbed by his heart in that delicate matter about Mustafa's life... No doubt nobody like Mustafa was to be so obedient to Suleiman... If the matter is about worshipping him with no objection in Suleiman's godship then Mustafa was a single angel in there with no doubt... Hurrem engulfed that liquid when she were bottlenecked and had no choice left. She the stubborn and strong headed woman... Was she comparable to Shahzady Mustafa?!!! Never!!! Its just sleak to compare Hurram with Suleiman's own blood but he unfortunate king was just the slave of his heart, A Russian concubine... And that lead to a ultimate disaster of his magnificence...
Honestly making hurrem drink poison was a useless move because when she poisoned mustafa she wasn't hurting sulieman anyway . It doesn't benefit her to hurt the sultan as he is the source of her power , love and fairytales aside.
Yes, he would! Watch next series and you’ll understand Mustafa’s greed and ambitions. He is actually training by Ibrahim, to be cold thinker and cold killer
I don't understand why people like Hurrem. She's such a snake, she tried to poison the innocent Sehzade but got away with it. Such mischiefs were common for her to do, and EVERYTIME she got away with it. The only gud thing about her is her loyalty to the Sultan. It's true, and the ONLY POSITIVE SIDE OF HERS. People say she was strong, indeed she was. She was a strong snake. By harming others for nothing, she became strong 👏👏
There are no innocents in this game for the throne. Mustafa isn't an innocent victim as fans like to preach. Not Hürrem, not mahidevran , Ibrahim, mirimah, hafsa, Hatice, Suleiman etc. They all did/do something that advanced their interest/survival.
hurrem was treated like a rat when she first came into the palace tho?? everyone was a snake at some point too. EVERYONE harmed each other. hurrem HAD to be protect her children. her charities are still being one till this day btw.
I think because he truly loved her, but was holding back a little bit so once she proved how much she loved him, he could finally let his heart embrace her fully, and trust her fully. I don’t think he loved Mahidevran enough to even go through this. He didn’t care about her because he already knew that she was disloyal, and I tried to kill him.
16:09 & people took side of Mustafa he is a weak men, with high lvl of low self esteem, full of greed & full of dishonesty with dsytany . Where as hureem children weren't like her that, that's how Mustafa deserve to die & now after hearing this I believe that he might b betrayal with his dad to became a king he is so desperate to be the one & this greed is clearly shown on that series
@@hurremsultanas the only thing that would have saved Mustafa by the time he died would have been him turning over his entire household, including his mother and his wife for treason. I mean EVERYONE. by that point, everyone in that household EXCEPT Mustafa was engaged in treasonous conspiracy against the ruling Sultan, and no ruler who expected to remain alive would let that stand. and even THAT might not have worked given how far the conspiracy had spread. he might not have personally issued the orders, but by the point he died, things had progressed to where that didn't MATTER. mahedievran taught her son that the sultan was his father first, and ruler second. which is what ultimately got him killed. and the fratricide law means that any hostility between the princes has to WAIT until the death of their father and the succession struggle takes place. any moves BEFORE that point is flat out treason and will be treated as such. which is what got Bayezed killed.
@@helenafarkas4534 Thank you!!! Somebody with some sense gets it. Mustafa was acting like a sultan while his father THE SULTAN was still alive. In the Ottoman Empire a prince can't act or do the things Mustafa was doing.
When Hurrem told him to kill her, she had already given him children. This was the episode where the Russian concubines were gifted to the Sultan. This time, WHY would she admit while dying this thing she did. It would endanger her children 😅 She's "dying" she just wants to spend that time reminding him she loved him. He didn't say, "Kill yourself OR tell me the truth." He was holding her to her word of doing anything for him. She was going to die for him anyway. 😅 Her mind works differently from others. Once she was done with the who was lying and did you do it, conversation, she moved onto just him and her. She calculated the risk to her family and the man she loved, from whom she got her power, and she chose to do the only thing she knew to do. Lean into his power. It saved her. Even better, she breaks as soon as he tells her the choices are die today or live without me. She breaks him by telling him that just his choices prove she is nothing to him, that kills her anyway. Now the ball is his court so to speak. Now he will reward her and compensate for his "mistake" and her enemies will truly suffer that loss of trust. She may not have intended it but she is his "shadow"

So what took place between the Saltan and Hurrem and Firuze and Princess Isabella actually happened. You can research the Ottoman Empire and Hurrem and everyone on this show for yourself. This show is history in action as it happened. Much like Laura Ingalls Wilder and Little House On The Prairie series (both the books and tv show).
@@honeybee2587What nonsense. This is a fictional story based on history, not a historical retelling. There was neither Isabella nor Firuze
Firuze died between 1608 & 1613
Princess Isabella otherwise known as Isabella Jagiellon was queen consort of Hungary
Suleiman saw Hungary as a vessel state of the Ottoman Empire she was born January 18 1519 & died September 15 1559
Hurrem Saltana died April 15 1558 she was brought to the Ottoman Empire as a slave. Married Saltan Sulieman. Had all their children.

She is a true Sultana❤
Suleiman is a fraud. He says all these loving words, tells Hurrem that she is the ruler of his heart, then he betrays her with Firuze.

“You’re a disaster to my soul…”
What fantastic words

He already knew that mahi wouldn’t drink it lol
Hurrem shows she is brave and loves him. And Suleiman understood it well once more. Because he can love a woman that is as brave as he is.
There is a scene coming up that I love, where Suleiman is questioned about Hurrem's loyalty. Sulieman gets angry and defends Hurrem. He tells them that Hurrem drank poison for him, or he says something like that. Love that scene.

He should have trusted her without doing this. Very cruel.
It really was. The upside is that this made it near impossible to dought Hurrem going forward. It also placed dought in Mustafa.

Never!!!

Mustafa didn't deserve to die. The tragedy was that all the şehzades were trapped by thr fratricide law.
Wtf??

Brave, very brave of Hurrem!
When Hurrem told him to kill her, she had already given him children. This was the episode where the Russian concubines were gifted to the Sultan.
This time, WHY would she admit while dying this thing she did. It would endanger her children 😅
She's "dying" she just wants to spend that time reminding him she loved him. He didn't say, "Kill yourself OR tell me the truth."
He was holding her to her word of doing anything for him. She was going to die for him anyway. 😅
Her mind works differently from others.

Mahidevran beat Hurrem for something she had no fault for. Hurrem beat Hatice because she was drugged by the substances Hatice provided, so funny enough Hatice’s plan backfired (literally) in her face. Hurrem was smart enough to never do something like that consciously, so the person you should blame for the beating is Hatice herself.
