^That’s exactly what it sounds like. I've also always wondered how mentioning a piece of content in advance will help if the mention of it in the work causes a fuss worthy of warning. It makes sense to warn about lights that can cause an epileptic attack or maybe even a general type of content, but how does 'I'm saying 'blood' so that you can decide to avoid the word 'blood' work?

Thank you! I’ve been saying these things to people for forever! Treating someone differently, regardless if you’re trying to “help” them, or you think you’re being self aware, is wrong. Everyone being equal does not mean that one group should be treated like they need extra help and care because they’ve been mistreated for so long. Everyone being equal means we see people not as white and black, but as people. And we don’t try to give either side a leg up, whether you have good intentions or not. Well, first of all, they aren't men. They are transwomen, or, just for simplicities sake, women. They want to be women. Because in their heads, their brain chemistry, and studies have been done into this, are closer to that of the sex that they identify with. For instance, a transwomans brain chemistry is closer to that of a normal womans, as compared to a normal mans.

I swear "gender" just means mood and they are just learning what human emotions are. "Your gender expression can change with the season". Most people get seasonal depression during winter, they dress differently for each season according to conditions and almost everyone is happier during summer. That isn't a gender expression...

The "educator" is getting on my nerves. If you go into a classroom to teach students and you treat non-white students differently where you think it's okay if they don't use proper grammar and don't help them to learn the rules of grammar, you are the racist. You are holding them to a lower standard and assuming they are unable to speak or write in a grammatically correct fashion. It's bull and wrong. There are many fabulous non-white writers out there as well as orators, doctors, lawyers, etc. Your non-white students are just as capable of learning proper English. Guarantee that "educator" will correct the students pronouns if they misgender though and make sure they learn the LGBT acronym in proper order.
It really kills me that these teachers engage in the bigotry of low expectations by allowing these students to stoop to lower standards. The fun part is that then its still everyone else's fault, and they want the rest of the society to dumb down to that level of standard. The fact that educators are fixated on pronouns over education is a huge huge problem.
As an English teacher, I will always teach proper grammar while also reminding students that dialects are valid while talking but proper grammar is necessary and expected for writing academically and professionally. I think that people are so against Ebonics but don’t realize that there are many different people who use specific dialects. The important part is know how and when to use correct grammar.

I am eastern european and know many ukrainians and have heard about he country a lot. And tho i am on their side in this war, I do not get why they lump ukraine together with sexuality and race and all this shit. I'm gay myself but I refuse to use pronouns that aren't the ones that correspond with your birth sex. Mainly because I believe that we cannot just mess around with language like that, which is always a dangerous thing to do. I've been against the tiktok ban due to government overreach... but this has changed my mind.

I'm a teacher in a place where standard English is not the norm (it is Scots). I have no problem in differentiating between the two. My students know that the way they speak is rich and valued, but that, in order to pass their *English* exams, they will need to use Standard [Scottish] English. It has nothing to do with ethnicity. It's about widely effective communication and my duty to make sure they have skill in that.
Yeah, because it’s important to understand that not all exam markers will be able to understand. I’m Scottish, but I probably wouldn’t understand all of something written in Scots. There’s nothing wrong with it, it just makes things easier.
Aye and it's just risky. Technically, they are allowed to write in Scots, but there's no one standard accepted variety, so a kid writing in Orcadian Scots could be thought to be wrong by an examiner who only knows lowland Scots. It's too big a risk. Plus, good standard English is what's needed to succeed in the job market.
Scots is not a language. You speak English, wrap it with the "Not like the other girls" mentality.

I am a person who cut their mother out of their life ten years ago. Even if I was going to "help" kids (I would have been very glad if a decent adult had LISTENED to me and told me that my mother was very toxic and that it wasnt my fault when I was a chikd. Jeffrey definitely creeps me out! Him saying “choosing connection over division” is kind of ironic since he seems to promote children going “no contact” with parents. What could be more divisive. The same children, he would encourage to go no contact and avoid their families. I wonder down the line when they figure out they’ve made a mistake, and they begin to de transition. Will he be for there for them then? What will be his advice when he and others like him shun the detransitioners?
Considering that every other person/institution which has urged someone to transition has ignored those who de-transition, I'd say that's a an almost certain no.

@@Deneriax Telling black kids they are wrong when they are wrong isn't' "racist" but with woke teachers telling black students that because "math is rahsizt" that whatever answer they give is right to "2+2" is acceptable and right. rather than telling them that they are wrong when they claim "2+2=22" and this leads to lowering test scores because those students think that they are automatically right no matter what.

my religion and psychology teacher is teaching us about gender identity and showed us a documentary about a gender fluid person (didn't rlly listen nor care so I read a book) then the next lesson he showed us a penis from a ftm WITHOUT ASKING FOR CONSENT (I wasn't there but the others were horrified - he apologized)...I go to a religious school and im not religious myself but we dont pray and they're changing the name so now they're not a religious school anymore. im tired of this bs I cant wait to get out of that school and go to a hopefully not very woke art program so I can work in the creative field in peace

As for grammar: I am not sure if monolingual Americans know that, but English is not the only language that has a grammar, i.e. rules that determine how you can utter a statement in a correct and understandable way so that the receiver of the statement also knows what the heck the speaker is talking about.
In fact, every single natural language on earth has a grammar, even the languages that are spoken by historically oppprressed cultures, whether it's Spanish, Swahili or Vietnamese. So how can grammar be racist if everyone on Earth who is capable of speaking at least his or her naitve language is applying grammar every day.
