I ask LGBT people this all the time, if you went to church openly gay, would they kick you out? Probably not, but I have been looking for a tabletop gaming group in my area for a year, and every time they find out I am conservative because I don’t hide that fact, I get kicked from the group.
My old friends constantly wonder why I stopped supporting the left, it’s because I was and still am about tolerance and freedom, and that is not longer a position of the left.

Human qualities happen in duality meaning male and female right and wrong hate and love, and the list goes on. God, if you want to call it that, then has to be those qualities and even more which means he is physical and non physical. If god creates this creation there has to be dualities otherwise it wouldn’t exist. Does religion make the world a better place?
✅ 30 Random Reasons Why I’m Vegan - In An Infinitely Long List:
      1. I’m vegan because I don’t want to be mean to any animals: not to dogs, pigs, cats, cows, chickens, turkeys, lambs, rabbits, or anyone at all! 🍏
      2. I’m vegan because I want to help the environment by not depleting the oceans of fish. 🌎
      3. I’m vegan because I don’t want anyone to kidnap whales and force them to do tricks in swimming pools. 🐋
      4. I’m vegan because I don’t want to pay anyone to burn down the rain forests to grow crops for cows, who we created in the first place; I’d rather that people not rape cows into existence to begin with. I’d rather eat the plants directly instead of filtering them through an innocent animal who doesn’t deserve to die. 🐄
      5. I’m vegan because I don’t want to pay anyone to pin down mother cows & force them to be pregnant and then to kidnap their baby boy cows, for the purpose of murdering them, just so people can steal their milk and sell it in stores to use for their taste pleasure. 😢
      6. I’m vegan because, I don’t feel right eating bacon, sausage or ham, because that means paying people in the pork industry to cut the tails, testicles & teeth off baby boy pigs & kill them at just 6 months old. I just don’t want anyone to do that to them. 🐷
      7. I’m vegan because I don’t want to just SAY that I think animals have moral value; I also want to SHOW it with my actions. 🥕
      8. I’m vegan because if you were the victim, I’d also protect you. 💟
      9. I’m vegan because I don’t believe that anyone’s eating disorder is ever the animals’ fault. Whether someone is overweight or underweight, because of psychological trauma, essentially, these are merely THINKING disorders, which a therapist can help someone overcome. There is never a justification to kill an animal just because of one’s own erroneous thoughts. 🍒
      10. I’m vegan because I learned that eating eggs is unnecessary and that the baby boy chicks are being suffocated with their brothers in large plastic bags or macerated in giant bloody blenders, just because they will never grow up to be able to lay eggs. 🐣
      11. I’m vegan because I was born not wanting to hurt animals. I was born wanting to play with them and if I ever saw them suffer, I would feel sad. ❤
      12. I’m vegan because it never would have occurred to me to try to bite into a chicken, pig, dog, cat, or a cow, if they hadn’t been mashed on a spoon and shoved into me without my consent when I was just a baby. 🚼
      13. I’m vegan because, unlike lions, I don’t feel any attraction to eat the raw flesh of dead or suffering animals. It’s not in my nature to seek out blood. 🩸
      14. I’m vegan because my mother’s milk was given freely, not stolen from her; I came to realize that cow’s milk is for baby cows - it’s not for humans to steal. I’m neither a cow, nor a baby anymore. ☮
      15. I’m vegan because I believe in learning facts and not just blindly believing the meat, dairy, egg, wool and fur industries who have been lying to us for years. 📚
      16. I’m vegan because I believe in trying to undo the harm I did in the past and because, even though I will never be perfect, being vegan is such an easy way to do my best, to live my life in line with my own morals. 🫘
      17. I’m vegan because, like millions of vegans on this planet, I realized I can be completely healthy without ever hurting animals. 🩺
      18. I’m vegan because I realized that cutting a cat in half it’s not the same as cutting a carrot in half and that plants don’t feel pain because they don’t have a brain or nervous system. 🐈🥕
      19. I’m vegan because I care about future generations and scientists worldwide have confirmed that being vegan is the best way to reduce my eco-footprint on this planet. 🌎
      20. I’m vegan because racism is wrong. It’s wrong to discriminate against pigs, chickens, turkeys, lambs and cows, just because they look different than cats or dogs. ⬅
      21. I’m vegan because, in their ability to suffer, all animals are the same: they all want to live and I have no right to pay someone to kill them, just for selfish taste pleasure. 🦆
      22. I’m vegan because I gathered the courage to watch the important documentaries (such as Dominion Movement, Earthlings, Cowspiracy, Seaspiracy, etc.) that most people are too afraid to watch. When I saw them, I realized that since I would never want to be treated the way these animals are treated, it was my moral responsibility to not harm them ever again. 🌸
      23. I’m vegan because I realized that’s it’s wrong to enslave anyone. It’s not about making cages more comfortable; it’s about dismantling the cages all together. ☀
      24. I’m vegan because I don’t believe in stealing. It’s irrelevant whether the eggs are fertilized or not. They don’t belong to me. They belong to the mother who laid them, and so I have no right to take them from eagles, swans, robins, ducks - or chickens. 🪺
      25. I’m vegan and don’t eat eggs because I learned that chickens have been bred to produce vastly more eggs than they originally produced in nature. As such, they lose a lot of calcium when producing this large amount of eggs: this leads to osteoporosis which is very painful. When ethical vegans save chickens from the industry, they can help replenish lost nutrients and undo the damage caused by years of exploitation, by cooking the eggs, and feeding them back to chickens who laid them. 🐓
      26. I’m vegan because I came to realize how wrong it has been for us to breed animals, such as chickens and turkeys, over so many generations, to grow too fast and too large, as this has caused great pain to their bodies by mutilating them in ways that are completely unnatural. 😢
      27. I’m vegan because I think it’s wrong that humans pin down bulls to masturbate them against their will (rape them), steal their sperm, and then, sexually assault mother cows in a cycle of violence that is completely unnecessary. We can all just choose something else to drink, such as oat milk or soy milk, instead of paying the dairy industry to be so cruel. 🐮
      28. I’m vegan because I watched a 5-minute documentary called Dairy is Scary on TH-cam where I saw baby cows being killed so humans could steal their milk. 😳
      29. I’m vegan because I realized that there were two choices ahead of me. I could choose the side of cruelty, or I could choose the side of compassion; there was no in-between. I was either going to be part of the problem or part of the solution, so I chose to do my best to be part of the solution. ⬅
      30. I’m vegan because google is free, and it’s extremely easy to find healthy vegan recipes online. 😇
Thanks for following my account and helping me save animals. What would you add to this list?

A lot of what people say is really out of ignorance. I pray for all these people because they are clearly lost and miserable. There is so much love and compassion within Christianity. @@banzai_23. i mean yea but porn contributes to a lot of problems. first, abuse towards women and males thinking what they see on porn is what women like. Secondly, everything being sexualized from women wearing simple clothing to blatant pedophilia being nearly tolerated in our society. and then we have hookup culture and men thinking women owe them their bodies which will never be true. Then let’s discuss how porn affects an individual person rather than just mentioning the abuse women have to suffer because of porn addicts. Men who watch porn typically suck at sex, can’t please their partners. Men who watch porn can’t get off without it and their d!cks basically stop working, their marriages and relationships fail ultimately because of their porn addictions. Women who are addicted to porn can’t see the misogynistic behavior perpetuated in porn, they get insecure, and are more likely to develop body image issues.
My point is - People having real sex (although it’s with strangers at times) isn’t our personal problem if we choose not to engage in it. but the widespread acceptance of porn is. Porn is literal poison, people having sex on their own terms is not…..

@@dreamgirl2.096 fair enough I never really liked porn since I knew people who were making it and they often were abuse victims in the past and its often abusive in the making of it. I think the constant porn use is a side affect of men being less confidant than they once were. Now its hard to pin exactly on why that is but from my experience I would say for me it was having a dysfunctional family life growing up.

The bible is quite clear: “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. Of course we all fall short and not everyone who professes to be a Christian should be considered a Christian, but the message of what one should strive for with regards to their neighbours and their "enemies" is quite clear.
As for the existence of Jesus, the vast majority of historians agree that his existence is a historical fact regardless of whether they are themselves Christian or not.

The Bible very SPECIFICALLY says that this will happen. It is very clear about the fact that others will pervert the word of God to suit their own narratives, they will attract others who are itching to hear what they want to hear, and they will lead many astray with false doctrine. As amusing as it is, I do worry for those who have fallen into these traps and pray for their deliverance from what is clearly wicked. If they had actually read the Bible for themselves, which I am positive that most of them never have, they would see this for what it truly is. Not sure if any of that makes sense, but the details matter. They create the bigger picture. If one does not conciously choose a religion, the void will be filled by some random religion, such as Climatology; Astrology; Covidology; or some other shallow substitute for the deep waters of Christianity. Choose wisely and with reflection and prayer. It is said that a sign of the "end times" is when everyone does what is right in their own minds, no objective right and wrong. Those "end times" are projected upon humanity as a whole when in actuality your end time is when you have no anchor to reality. I laugh at a very well-educated friend, who is a computer genius. He lectures me that everything is not "black and white." I asked him to explain computer programing to me, turns out the entire industry is built on ones and zeroes. What is the difference between ones and zeroes, and black and white? Good and evil are the choices, choose the good. Discussion of "what is good" is reserved for our next lesson.

As a former Christian, who was very devout, I think that there is a serious tendency to over correct when you leave the faith. You sometimes want to be the “opposite” of what you grew up as, but you end up actually sometimes being the same. Same dogmatic, evangelical tendencies, same black and white thinking, but this time for the other side. I think a lot of people who grew up in religion were taught to believe and cling to dogma, so when they leave religion, it’s for another more extreme dogma. In my experience, and from what I’ve seen with other people who’ve left the church, they were told HOW to think, which is really difficult to reprogram, and learn to think for yourself. I noticed that tendency toward extremes and realized where it came from, so have instead worked on reducing my extreme reactions to things, and not always taking action when I feel “convicted” like I was taught to. Instead I sit with the feeling and ride the wave until my urge toward extremes comes down, and then I think about it when I can think more clearly. Unfortunately our society loves extremes, so when people leave Christianity, I think they are welcomed in by another extreme that claims to be loving and accepting and all the things they thought there religion wasn’t, but in the same way, is just as interested in controlling what you think and how you think, and making you conform to their thoughts and dogmas, and if you disagree, you are just as cast out and condemned as you would be in traditional religion. I think one of the most important things young people can do is try to live more grey, less black and white. That’s been my experience anyway.

What always amuses me about atheists (not meaning you, I mean others) and non-Catholics in general is how annoyed they get that my religion has “rules.” Like….yeah? Religion is part of what defines morals, what do you want me to do?? Like, I find it funny how some people are against religion solely because we have morals and rules attached to our beliefs. A lot of people want the easy way out, the easy answer, but Catholicism isn’t just “okie you’re saved nothing else.” In any earthly relationship that’s not how it works, you have to maintain it, and sometimes it hurts, it can be hard, but in the end it is worth it because the infinite loves and happiness that comes from that relationship with god will always be there. No matter where we are he will always be ready to take us back, we just have to let him.

As a former Atheist and a metalhead I can tell you why Satan and demons were appealing to me. With most metal music trying to perpetuate this image of evil, aggressiveness especially in the realms of death metal and black metal, using Satan, demons or hell as motifs add to the musical aesthetic of heaviness. Nothing is more evil than Satan, nothing is worse than Hell and when you are trying to make music that is going to piss off older people and the lyrical content adds to that in a huge way.
I don't listen to music involving themes of the Devil or hell or demons anymore unless it's from a Christian perspective.

@@Werewolf_Division1944 The strawman is strong with this one. Like @ganymede5956 referenced, the Egyptians were enslaving theHebrews, so plagues were completely justified. When the creation does evil stuff, God wipes them out. Atheists often argue that God doesn't exist because there is evil in the world. Yet when they read up on him punishing evil, they villainize him as a bloodlusting maniac. Pick a side? Finally, no innocent person goes to hell, "Oh but if someone saves puppies and doesn't believe in Jesus, they'll go to hell, how is that fair?!!!?!?!?!" You don't understand the importance of believing in Jesus. God is Love. If you don't believe in him, you can't do anything good, because it will never be out of a loving motive, it will be because it makes you feel good, or because you want likes, or because you want a good reputation among other selfish motives. Doing positive things without loving intentions, is not good. Idk where you get God being a bully or psychopath though.

@ganymede5956 Unfortunately, Christians naively started the idea of an all loving, benevolent God that atheists love to say He is. He is NOT. God is good and because He is good, He dislikes sinfulness, because He dislikes sinfulness, it is punished where it is found. God is just.

I'm Pagan myself and no one should have to bear the brunt of people who are in a constant state of hatred and intolerance just because you happen to believe in something they don't. This is actually quite sad to see that it is actually okay now to go out and hate Christianity and other faiths because it doesn't gel with society's march towards this twisted sense of progress. To any religious person or persons out there keep praising and loving your beliefs in your own way regardless of what others may think of you. May the gods bless you all.

Most progressives see progress as a straight line. The reality is it's closer to a bell curve. At some point it becomes regressive, as we've seen with the rise in the push for Segregation making a comeback in the name of "progress".
Society ad a whole is incredibly ill. If we don't take drastic steps to combat this illness soon, it may become too late to do anything about it.

It is SO hard for me to find a church as a trans dude who is not woke. I kind of gave up. There's either fire and brimstone or woke bullshit "affirming" churches who are totally insane and not in line with Jesus' word at all. I found kind of a good one when I lived in the Phoenix area, but I just moved to another state so sigh, time to try to search again! I can't stand "testing" the churches and finding out they suck so bad. It's so awkward!!

You don't always need to have a church to get started. Just a good teacher, or good material. Try looking into Ray Comfort, and also Derek Prince. They are very good evangelists who preach about Christ and are non-denominational: so just plain Christianity, not pertaining to catholic, protestant, and all the other branches and flavors out there. Develop a Personal relationship with Christ, and you are already halfway there. Seek Him, and He will show you. Pray to Him, and He will guide you.
