- Hey guys , I contemplated showing you all this side of me for ages. I guess it’s always harder to speak openly about your insecurities and I don’t talk about my hair on my socials so you’d never know this. I remember feeling so helpless about my thin hair and seeing it fall out going through stressy times and then it just got worse over time.
I’ve tried tablets, shampoos, oils, etc and then I came across PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma).
I’ve just had my first session of PRP therapy done and I’ve filmed the whole procedure. Skip forward to 12:42 to see how it happens, but I'd rather you watch this video from the start to get the full context of everything.
PRP, a medical treatment, also known as platelet-rich plasma, has been recommended by many hair transplant doctors for the treatment of hair loss and hair thinning. PRP is used to regrow your hair naturally and effectively. Your blood is drawn & plasma is separated. A thin needle of your own plasma is injected into the scalp. The growth factors in your blood cells then stimulate hair growth naturally.

3 mnths back i had taken an appointment with doc and she has given me some vitamin and calcium tablets and Tropisol salicic acid ...i had used it for a month but no changes... Now hairfall has been started again... My hairline has been receding day by day... I donno what to do? How much does PRP costs?

Ma'am i m thinking for prp therapy but some people says hair falls after prp and after having prp therapy every year have to take prp therapy ...is it so? Plz tell me I am confused before investing in this i m worried if it is working or not?

Hey can you pls tell,can I use oil after few days of prp therapy because my scalp is very dry and itchy and I am using shampoo head an shoulder daily for dandruff
Hey yeah you can go back to using it 24hrs after you've had your session. They say to not wash or apply anything during that first 24hrs 🙂

@@AmanHeer my dermatologist suggested this treatment, she said it can be done once in a year, same injecting procedure. so, did prp regrow hair? is it worth it? even I heard about GFC which is advanced PRP

My age 18 +....after covid I am suffering from Telogen effluvium ... I lost my 50% hair with in a month ...my 1st dermatologist prescribed me minoxidil ... after 1week my hair fall control me chala aya...but last month hair fall increased heavily .... I am scared from touching my hair ... Weekly one time I comb my hair and apply shampoo ... May PRP karana chatihu .... Lekin 1 time PRP karne ki bad ...mujhe yearly bar bar prp karna nahi hoga to ?
Oh no, so sorry to hear that 😢 prp is only a short term solution, bar bar karna peyga, not just 1 session. You will need more than 1 session and then every year another session to maintain

How many years were you facing hair loss before going for prp treatment?
I started noticing it about 8 years ago but I feel like it got worse over the last 2 years

Hey, I didn't have any side affects such as those. Scalp felt a bit sore for around 20mins afterwards but otherwise was fine 🙂
What about trichostem only 2 treatments lasts

prp as injection or microneedling with prp. any difference ?
I've only had prp on its own and I've seen a difference after 2 months 😊 I'm not sure about the microneedling though 🤷🏽♀️

It depends on the condition of your hair. I was reccomended to have three sessions by the clinic, 1 month apart and I will have maintenance sessions maybe once a year 🙂

To be honest with you listen to me, prp cannot regrow hair back but yes it can hold your existing hair make it thicker but regrow but yes minox can work much more than prp
Yes, I’m with you. I mention it a lot in my videos that PRP isn’t a permanent fix. And with Minoxidil you have to stay consistent with it otherwise it can reverse the progress you make.
Hey girl! Have you tried rogaine at all? I can suggest maybe trying bumble and bumble root cover up or boost and blend hair fibers to cover up the thin areas a bit and give you a bit more volume! And occasionally if youd like you could use u clip extensions from luxy hair to give some volume. They're better then the usual clip ins and not damaging. :) I'd love to get in touch. Fellow brown girl with similar loss for a good few years now.
Heyyy, thanks for reaching out to me🤗 yeah I was told about Rogaine but I can't see myself being consistent with it as I know I'll deffo forget to apply it here and there 😂🤦🏽♀️ so I didn't want to risk the side effects of reversing the new growth and increasing hair fall. Have you used it?
I had a go with clip ins but they wouldn't hold onto my hair because it was so thin at that time anyway. I'm talking about a good 7 8yrs ago now lol. 💛💛

Hey 😊 it used to yes, it's getting better now. I started using a new shampoo called Nizoral which I'll be reviewing on here in a few weeks. But over the last few months I've seen less hair fall. Have you tried anything to help stop your shedding? 💛

Have you checked if you have Thyroid problems? I can see your neck and you might have hypothyroidism, it's pretty common cause for hair loss.
