There has never been a direct flight to Sydney, but Qantas does have a direct flight Heathrow to Perth! 😊

There has actually, look up project sunrise by Qantas, they did a trial flight in November 2019 but they’re not launching it fully until 2025 I think

I got myself a 42L backpack this summer that zips like a suitcase just because I don't really like taking suitcases on train rides or hand luggage but honestly hoooow did you manage to travel with a backpack twice this volume my backpack was already so heavy 😂

How comes youre taking a backpack to aus this time round?

Because we’re backpacking for the first 7 ish weeks I personally did find it just a lot easier with a backpack in Asia than I did last time because if I’m walking anywhere with a suitcase/a whole all - I’m not strong enough to pick it up so it’s easier to have it on my back

While I can understand any country wishing to limit diseases such as tuberculosis entering a country, I'm more perplexed about the questions regarding height and weight in order to get a visa? I have travelled Europe and lived in Switzerland for almost 3 years on a student visa but never did I have to provide measurements? Is there a height/weight requirement to stay in Australia? No wonder they all look so fit! 😂😂😂
