Molly, a massive tip when you move out to un pack everything in those plastic bags that you get from the grocery shop not like the bags for life the other ones because you're gonna be left with loads of boxes and you will find that the bins are going to be so full. You're better taking all your clothes in those cause you can re-use them for grocery shopping and they very easy to fold and hide!

for your uni room if you’re allowed to blue tac photos you should download the app ‘Free Prints’ you can print off photos from your phone and you only have to pay for delivery or you could use it to swap the photos in the frame

I’m hoping to go to Liverpool hope uni, can anyone from Liverpool recommend places to go at Liverpool? Shops, museums, general attractions ect, as I’m going for a few days! Ty xx
I’m going into my second year at hope and I LOVE it - what are you hoping to study? I’m from NI and to be honest I haven’t done half as much as what you can! Obviously in terms of the city centre their is Liverpool One, the Docks and then there is lots to do in terms of the Beatles eg. Visit Penny Lane/cavern bar and then their is also a Beatles museum etc! The Baltic Triangle has lots of art including angel wings which is always nice for photos! There is a massive library and actually quite a lot of museums in the city centre as well such as the world museum, museum of Liverpool and Merseyside maritime museum! There is a lot of lovely parks like Sefton Park and Calderstones Park (which is actually a 10min walk from Hope Uni- it’s so so lovely)! There is also a few theatres and then the cathedral is also nice to have a look around! Finally there is lots of nice restaurants and cafes - I suggest having a look at Bold Street as it has some lovely cafes eg Leaf on Bold Street and then out of the centre I would highly recommend the tavern which is on smithdown road! So it just depends on what you like to do/your interests... feel free to reply with any other questions either about Hope or Liverpool!☺️

Can’t really add much more but just wanted to add that I live like 30 mins away from liverpool and it’s one of my favourite places, the people are so so lovely and amazing and there’s loads of places to shop and eat and all round a great atmosphere, you will love it!

I remember you said before about doing a foundation course you don’t get the same funding at a normal undergraduate ? Is that the same now ? Because I am looking at doing a foundation course first but if you ain’t funded the same I cannot afford it :(
Yeah its still the same, she said as the course is free her parents are helping out with the accommodation costs xxx
It depends I think! I have applied for a foundation course through clearing and my maintenance loan has actually gone up

Lizzy xo people have loads of different circumstances, for example you may have grown up in a middle class household with a stable family environment, whereas people may have something completely different. We can’t judge people on their grades because we don’t know how good their teachers were, whether there was a, i don’t know, traumatic experience that happened to them, whether they had any economic problems, or maybe they didn’t have time to work as hard as they wanted, etc. Heck, we don’t even know if they had learning difficulties, or had trouble with their mental health during that time. GCSE’s are so hard for many people, so we should be encouraging and lifting people up instead of attacking them for what they got.
