I was an A* student but this year, things just kept going downhill and I never recovered. I'm not really happy with myself and I understand that I'm not focusing on my studies still I'm not doing anything to improve the situation. We might see our friends studying and doing things they like equally perhaps unbalanced but, in reality if they know what works for them, they will get the best result for both in academic and life :') It takes time so figure out your own way to deal with different matters, so don't be afraid to try new things and experiment

My academic year started off really great! In semester 1, I was awarded certificate of academic performance, which was my goal for the semester. Overall I received 7 A's and 2 B's which I was so proud of myself for. Things started to go a downhill in semester 2 though. I was very burnt out and the content got a lot harder, I caught COVID and struggled to catch up with my studies wile recovering. My mental heath was declining, but I was still determined to do well. I put in my best effort and studied hard. It was my goal to achieve academic performance again, but I got my results back yesterday, and unfortunately did not meet the criteria for the award. This time I received 4 A's and 5 B's. It's heartbreaking because I worked so hard yet I didn't reach the goal I set for myself. I wanted to improve from the previous semester but I did significantly worse. I understand that my achievements are still very good scores, but it's still painful to think that I got worse over the year instead of improving. Thank you Faye for being such a great motivator for all of us. Despite not achieving all the results I wanted, your channel has helped me a lot this year 💛

My unit test results will be out on 17 December but teachers start showing us our tests before that just so they didn't did anything wrong and I am kind a nervous about it. I got 17/20 in literature and I am so proud of that because we had one of the hardest chapters in it(The Chief Seattle's Speech) and even after accidentally skipping a question, I got 17/20. I'm in my last year of German high school right now and honestly, looking at how little motivation I have had this semester I'm not that mad about my grades. Actually I'm going through a lot of struggle for studying as my fees isn't paid from many months + my school just kicked me out making it difficult for me to complete my academics nicely in addition too,my finals are starting from March....some days ago,I was totally stressed out,doing nothing but wasting my time but then i got an idea of studying from home and utilising my time but didn't know how to be productive.....then,I found this godess's channel and now,it's been 1 month since I'm not going to school but no one can say I've been down in studies now because I've completed my whole syllabus and doing revision now while my teachers are still struggling to complete the chapters..... If you study biology in uni now, what are you planning to use this education to do? I am very interested in biology like you, and I’m thinking of doing biotech or smth when I grow up. This year for me meant more than the academic situation, bc i passed trough mental illness, which caused problems around my whole life, not just the academic one. 2022 was supposed to be my first and exciting university year, but the last year i wasn´t sure about what i wanted to study or do. My parents forced me to study, bc at the exam that chilean people do when they finish their secondary school or highschool, i did it so well and had the oportunity to study into one of the better country university´s. So i started university with a hopeless feelling, i wasn't into study at all, and started to fail in many subjects. hopefully, the second semester i started to feel better, i started to get more interest about the carrer, and tomorrow starts my last week of the strange first year. Even everything happened, i'm happy that i'm in recoverying process and know i have motivation to make the next semester a better one, and enjoy the vacations until march. When i don't wanted to study i use to search a faye's video and then i have motivarion, thanks Faye

I am very disappointed with my academic performance this year as a 6th form student. This month is my 5th month, which means my first semester exams are just around the corner. It's a new environment for me and my learning style I've used so far is not working well now. I've been a little unstable, it feels like I'm on a rollercoaster ride. I've been trying to calm myself down, get myself together and come up with a solution. It's taking a lot of time but I can't rush either otherwise I'll start to feel overwhelmed and lose it. I'll try my best to keep going and not give up so easily. From time to time, I would come back to your channel to be inspired and motivated.

Today I got my results and I did fine in other subjects but failed in physics.....it was for just 3 numbers ! If only I had got 3 more marks ....I would have passed...I don't know what to do..I am only on 9th grade and from Bangladesh
@@midnightmagics8619 Well, I suggest you study all your formulas, physics is kinda mathish with some theory but you should start from the basics of knowing the formulas, im not particularly good with it either but let's try our best toghether! :)

My academic year started off really great! In semester 1, I was awarded certificate of academic performance, which was my goal for the semester. Overall I received 7 A's and 2 B's which I was so proud of myself for. Things started to go a downhill in semester 2 though. I was very burnt out and the content got a lot harder, I caught COVID and struggled to catch up with my studies wile recovering. My mental heath was declining, but I was still determined to do well. I put in my best effort and studied hard. It was my goal to achieve academic performance again, but I got my results back yesterday, and unfortunately did not meet the criteria for the award. This time I received 4 A's and 5 B's. It's heartbreaking because I worked so hard yet I didn't reach the goal I set for myself. I wanted to improve from the previous semester but I did significantly worse. I understand that my achievements are still very good scores, but it's still painful to think that I got worse over the year instead of improving.
Thank you Faye for being such a great motivator for all of us. Despite not achieving all the results I wanted, your channel has helped me a lot this year 💛

My unit test results will be out on 17 December but teachers start showing us our tests before that just so they didn't did anything wrong and I am kind a nervous about it. I got 17/20 in literature and I am so proud of that because we had one of the hardest chapters in it(The Chief Seattle's Speech) and even after accidentally skipping a question, I got 17/20. I'm in my last year of German high school right now and honestly, looking at how little motivation I have had this semester I'm not that mad about my grades. Actually I'm going through a lot of struggle for studying as my fees isn't paid from many months + my school just kicked me out making it difficult for me to complete my academics nicely in addition too,my finals are starting from March....some days ago,I was totally stressed out,doing nothing but wasting my time but then i got an idea of studying from home and utilising my time but didn't know how to be productive.....then,I found this godess's channel and now,it's been 1 month since I'm not going to school but no one can say I've been down in studies now because I've completed my whole syllabus and doing revision now while my teachers are still struggling to complete the chapters.....

Hi Faye, I’m so inspired by you as a fellow malaysian who’s thinking about furthering my studies in Australia. May I ask what is your end goal? If you study biology in uni now, what are you planning to use this education to do? I am very interested in biology like you, and I’m thinking of doing biotech or smth when I grow up. I want to do something beneficial to the world.
My parents and family fully support me into going literally anywhere in the world and they also have no expectations for my future. My current options are USA, Aus and China. (p.s: If anyone here is from Australia can you help me decide? If I choose Aus then I’m thinking of transferring for Year 10,11,12 bc I have grandparents there. My father who went to high school there already filled me in on the differences in education but I’m wondering if you guys think the adjustment would be too hard and I should just finish my edu here and go for uni in aus instead.)
BTW: I just watched till the end and I’m here to update: I’m VERY satisfied with my academic performance this year! It was my first year in a new school and I adjusted pretty well despite the fact that it’s a extremely hard school which is famous for being hard, and I faced many challenges :) I can’t believe I even improved compared to last year!!

This year for me meant more than the academic situation, bc i passed trough mental illness, which caused problems around my whole life, not just the academic one. 2022 was supposed to be my first and exciting university year, but the last year i wasn´t sure about what i wanted to study or do. My parents forced me to study, bc at the exam that chilean people do when they finish their secondary school or highschool, i did it so well and had the oportunity to study into one of the better country university´s. So i started university with a hopeless feelling, i wasn't into study at all, and started to fail in many subjects. hopefully, the second semester i started to feel better, i started to get more interest about the carrer, and tomorrow starts my last week of the strange first year. Even everything happened, i'm happy that i'm in recoverying process and know i have motivation to make the next semester a better one, and enjoy the vacations until march.

I am very disappointed with my academic performance this year as a 6th form student. This month is my 5th month, which means my first semester exams are just around the corner. It's a new environment for me and my learning style I've used so far is not working well now. I've been a little unstable, it feels like I'm on a rollercoaster ride. I've been trying to calm myself down, get myself together and come up with a solution. It's taking a lot of time but I can't rush either otherwise I'll start to feel overwhelmed and lose it. I'll try my best to keep going and not give up so easily. From time to time, I would come back to your channel to be inspired and motivated.
