    You explain it so well. Its like your body gets addicted to feeling anxious.

    Thanks for the video! It's great to see you doing well. Sometimes coffee will give you surges of anxiety which can trigger feelings of panic however, you can use that as a time to practice coping with those weird feelings. Lean in to them and let them float over you, don't try to make them go away, in other words use it as an exposure session. Coffee as therapy! yah, I know, that's my coffee addiction talking probably but I think it makes you comfortable with low grade anxiety and that helps stop it from going next level.

      Yes!! I love your phrase - lean in. So spot on. Thank you! (and I'm with ya on coffee as therapy haha)

      That's actually a super interesting theory! (I say as a coffee addict with anxiety lol)

    I love your videos and when I found you I initially didn't want to binge all of your videos because I wanted to be able to come back and watch 'new' stuff. Now I regret not watching this video earlier; I feel like I came to the same conclusion after a relapse kind of situation that I just needed to work on rebalancing myself first before tackling the anxiety trigger situations because I was just so on edge allll of the time and ready to fire so inevitably was almost always in panic mode anyway. I'm not perfect yet but I definitely made so much more progress once I gave myself a little break and time to 'recharge'. Hope you're doing well x

      Yes! Sometimes you are so overly sensitized that it really helps to just work on calming your nervous system down before attempting anything else!

    Great video thanks. I have hid away as I have chronic fatigue and now due to the symptoms and panic I am mildly agoraphobic. I stay at home most of the time. I am so sure that the anxiety and stress is why I got ill with the fatigue in the first place. I have started a meditation and positive visualisation programme.

      I think society is coming around to the idea that anxiety is not just a mental health thing but a physical thing too - it seems to go hand in hand with physical illnesses. I'm still not sure if anxiety caused my IBS or my IBS caused my anxiety but either way I get what you mean about being convinced that anxiety and stress was the main factor that caused your chronic fatigue. Sending you lots of love!!

      AnxietyMamma of course, I'm still battling anxiety and I am still trying so many things I currently like this new app but I am definitely going to look at the meditation you linked. Anxiety is a a daily battle but I've been successful so far.

    Hi there, thank you for your message. 2 years ago I suffered a mental breakdown/burnout/anxiety attack and was hospitalized for near suicide. It was from being over worked and heart broken. I am 29 now. Can I fully recover? I am seeing a phsycologist and phsyciatrist, just terrified about going back into work. Thank you

      You can! I had enormous fears about going back to work but I found it was so much easier than I imagined. A lot of the fear is just in the anticipation and our imagination of how it will be. Keep doing what you're doing and working towards your goals, one foot in front of the other

    Pls i need an advice can i take medications for this anxiety because no body have answered me?

    • @LaurenRose.
      @LaurenRose.  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can take medication for anxiety. It's something you will need to speak to your doctor about. Everyone is different and what works for one may not work for another but there are many medications as well as natural and homeopathic remedies that people have had success with using for anxiety reduction.
