I want to thank you very much for the train video, I enjoyed viewing the towns and people along the way. This is my only form of travel now, in order to view other countries; as I am 67-years old with health issues, and can no longer travel.
Superb! What an amazing little railway! It has an incredibly narrow right of way hasn’t it? I would imagine this line is much loved by its staff and passengers. Many thanks for sharing the ride. Rob in Bournemouth, England.
they are incredibly respectful to each other and their environment.. but it also helps making it nearly impossible for foreigners to live there (without offering the country something of value in return..(English teachers are a dime a dozen))
and in the USA, Great Britain, Australia there are many graffiti dumpsters. The point is not in the outskirts of the city, but in the development of infrastructure: in russia, the largest country in terms of area, 90% of the territory is a trash heap, and transport hubs are developed only in very large cities.
These are some of the very reasons, why I love to be in Japan...rather than in germany my home country where ppl throw their trash everywhere and care less about good behaviour etc. Japan is the home country of my heart, my wife is Japanese :-)!
It's a beautiful railway, one of my favourite in Japan. Although I do feel a little sorry for the people who live right next to the track and a crossing.
It's the same thing in multiple cities in Japan, people living right next to the track. They are used to it as it's a densely populated country, esp in coastal areas. But you're right, it looks crazy how close the train passes the houses.
22:47 I like the way the pedestrian crossing stops either side of the railway track. Cars may stop for you but I guess you have to take your chances with the train.
Loved this one. A very different feel to the rural trains. And the view of the sea was awesome. Watched the whole thing in one go. Gonna save it as a favourite to rewatch again.
I like to go to google earth and compare the satellite views to these train videos. Sometimes I see the same cars parked in different places and you get to see more like there are restaurants where people are getting off the train.
Loved this train ride. I got the front seat here too !! What a fantastic country and no litter anywhere? Wow! 👍👌 👊 😊 🇬🇧
It is a train route that brings out the beauty and cleanliness, sees the disciplined Japanese lifestyle and the very organized road driving. Beautiful mount fuji
Looks like in Japan the alarm sound will start ringing before the level crossing barriers go down, ive seen it happening many times in videos shot in Japan .I don't know why's that (probably for safety) but here in my country (Europe), the alarm sound will start ringing at the same time as the level crossing barriers go down. Either way, I rode this line (Enoden?) before and I think it's one of the most beautiful but also interesting line in Japan. Gosh, they have like millions of different types of trains in Japan, all made in Japan! Great people, great country 💖🇯🇵💖
13:08 I rode this line last October but it was all hazy and overcast so the waterfront looked completely different from this. I always assumed the Great Wave was using artistic exaggeration but Fuji really is that prominent from that spot.

We should get you a Star Trek personal transporter. Size of a candy bar, beams you anywhere. They had one in Star Trek Voyager.

Nice to see real life in JAPAN
This is the most beautiful railway line I've ever seen!
What a picturesque railroad!

everytime i watch videos from Japen i dont see any Garbage on the street, Graffiti´s at walls and no bad looking Houses.....very liveable
they are incredibly respectful to each other and their environment.. but it also helps making it nearly impossible for foreigners to live there (without offering the country something of value in return..(English teachers are a dime a dozen))
Machen Savira that’s good. Diversity is our weakness.
Actually there are lots of graffiti in Japan. I've been there and seen it.

Wow amazing! The houses are so close to the train tracks though 😱
Yes, those electric lines might make it hard to listen to shortwave radio!
Philippines: Am I a joke to you?
Check out Thailand and Vietnam.
@@jimcrawford5039 yeah I know in south-east Asia, but most of those settlements are informal while these in Japan are actually formal
This is perfect, I took that train so many times...
Really beautiful route and a total surprise to see that 1990s volvo (maybe a 740?) at time 22:52
Japan's urbanism and train network is amazing

What a gorgeously eccentric, and beautiful, little train! Thank you so much for posting this. It makes me want to return to Japan.

Great video of a lovely journey. On the bucket list.
if i got the chance, i would spend my visit time in japan just for riding the trains
What a great video. It made me feel as if I was actually "along for the ride"! Thank you for sharing.
It's a beautiful railway, one of my favourite in Japan. Although I do feel a little sorry for the people who live right next to the track and a crossing.

I'd love to live next to this railway just to be near Enoshima!
I mean between this and a four lane stroad often found in the US, this is very much preferable.
This is a streetcar more than a train. And being electric it's quiet.
Nice classic Mini there 18:30.
Volvo estate 22:53, must be somewhat rare in Japan.
I’ve watched many of these Enoshima railway videos that I practically know each station by heart haha, my favorite is Kamakurakōkō-Mae Station

I watch your video. It's very good. Best regards
Thanks for sharing. Some brutal turns, and Mr Fuji was just around one of them!
FIRST TIME I,VE SEEN BREAKERS ON THE SEA ON THIS ROUTE.
@5:38 Poor child & family almost get squished by the moving barrier! Must be quite a rare site in Japan!
I love how extensive railway network in Japan. Even small towns have their own railway.
22:47 I like the way the pedestrian crossing stops either side of the railway track. Cars may stop for you but I guess you have to take your chances with the train.
The dog at 25:42 broke my heart. I hope it is still healthy and happy.
:(
Dogs like this in general are healthy and are fine, the issue is sometimes they're missing one or two leg(s).
Great video enjoyed it very much .Take care
Loved this one. A very different feel to the rural trains. And the view of the sea was awesome. Watched the whole thing in one go. Gonna save it as a favourite to rewatch again.
Same, I come back here every now and then to relax. Definitely a train I want to take in my life one day
What a beautiful informative video, thank you!
An excellent video, with nice views. Thinking of the homes alongside the track (noise?), how often do these trains run? 🐨🇦🇺
There are five trains per hour each way between 6:00 am and 10:00 pm. The first train is at 5:30 am and the last train is 11:30 pm.
@13:13 the shot of the surf/waves with Mt. Fuji in the background is spectacular!
The guy tying his shoelaces two seconds later is also epic.
Nice video. Everywhere along this line looks clean and spotless, no graffiti anywhere. Perfect.
20:37 - The railway workers are greeting at the train...
I rode Enoden a year ago, but then Fuji-san was behind the clouds. 18:51 - I see that Slam Dunk fans are still standing near railway crossing :)
That train sounds like my washer not a bad sound at all thank you for the video❤️ thanks for English
Another great train trip. Thank you 🙏
Thankyou for such a beautiful video :)
Fascinating zigzag patterns the shadows of the cables make on that wall 21:31.
Really! They are moving a little bit! Thanks for this hint 🙂

USA trains do that too, bell or e-bell starts ringing and lights flash for a while then gate drops,

5:20 on the left, there's a really nice restaurant that serves the local craft beer, which I highly recommend.
Thanks you !
Very nice video, amazing how the railway line crawls in between the houses. Like the blue flashing lights in the corners. Mt Fuji looks awesome.
Beautiful video. Muchas gracias
