I didn’t go on that Kiss Kruise because it’s like $2000 for a week including the round trip flight from Atlanta to Miami International Airport. I’m originally from Miami but I haven’t been down there since my Mom and I rented a Car back in Dec 2008. My Dad is messed up and my past toxic friend that lives 10 min from him.
Wow i thought i was young at age 9 when i got into them in 1974! Even at age 9 i had a hard time comprehending them because they were so otherworldly compared to other Rock bands back then! You have to keep in mind there was NO internet and magazines were limited so seeing these guys Live in their prime was a surreal experience to me at age 9! They were totally on fire in 1975 when i seen them in Philadelphia! It was like the KIss alive record came to life! It was indeed KISS ALIVE! 😁🤘
Saw them August 16th 1977 at the Cow Palace in San Francisco it was the night Elvis Presley passed away. Kiss dedicated Rock & Roll all night to Elvis. Cheap Trick was the opening act. Great concert. 👍🎸
I am jealous!!! Lol Cheap Trick opening for Kiss how could that not be amazing!!! Rush used open for Kiss as well in 76 and 77, what an incredible experience!!!
@@kevinchandler179 Oh it was incredible let me tell you. It was the very first time seeing these 2 bands live. My twin brother took me because he was a huge KISS fan, and I had just bought Cheap Trick's album In Color at Tower Records in San Francisco just because of the album cover. Never heard their music before. But once I put the album on my turntable I was hooked. Because Cheap Trick was just starting out on their first major tour opening for KISS (this is a year before their historic concert at Budokan in Japan) they only played about 40 minutes with no encore. But they were entertaining and solid and a fun band to see live. To this very date in 2024, I've only seen KISS that one time in 1977, but I've seen Cheap Trick at least 25 times live since that very first time. Sometimes you just get lucky in life!!!!!!!! 👍😆🎸

I will never forget being in the department store called "Two guys" and seeing the cover to "Dressed to kill"! I had a hard time comprehending them? They had business suits on but wore painted faces??? WTF? Needless to say i had my grandfather buy me that record and i was a instant fan from the first song "Room Service. The the next track was "Two timer" and had that heavy bassy intro riff that really attracted me.Anyway i knew very little about them because there was no internet and i was not buying magazines. Then it happened! I seen them on The midnight special" preforming "Duece" "Cmon and love me" "She" and "Black diamond" I was totally hypnotized by them! The Music.,The Look, the stage show it was a LOT to take in for a kid! Shortly after seeing them on that show KISS ALIVE" came out and to this day is one of my all time favorite records! Then a few months later i got to see them at the Philadelphia convention center for the Alive tour, what a memory seeing them that night gave me!
Keep the Ace stories coming👍 He so much more interesting than the other guys. The only time their stories are worth listening to, is when they're talking about Ace' shenanigans.🤣
1976 in Memphis, Tn KISS was my first concert and the warm up band was AC/DC of course we had never heard of them but we were not there to see them we wanted KISS.
Thank you Ace, Gene, Paul & Peter. The chemistry/magic that those 4 had together was extremely unique. Though many have desperately tried to be KISS nobody has ever come close to achieving those nostalgic magical memories/days.
The band that introduced me to rock'n'roll in 1976. I was 11. I remember seeing them on the Paul Lynn Halloween Special (?) and after they finished "Detroit Rock City" my grandma, who was baby sitting us, gave me the most memorable quote of my childhood - "Good Heavens!" After that she and my parents had to endure Aerosmith, Thin Lizzy, Skynyrd, The Stones, The Who, Led Zep, and everybody else. Loved her so much. Thanks for posting this
You sound like a clone of me, I was 14 in 1976, had been listening to Kiss for a few years at this point. I remember going to the mall with my Mom back in maybe 1974, we went into JC Penny and I went over to the record department, yes, they had a record department back then. I was looking through all of the albums and came across the first Kiss album, all black, White and Silver, just the 4 members on the cover. I picked it up and said who is this, I took the album and went and found my Mom and asked her could I get it, I showed it to her, she said what the hell is that and got it for me. From that day I became a Kiss freak, the walls in my room were covered in everything Kiss, my Grandmother who was really religious would not go in my room, she said the Devil was in there. I listened to the same music you mention, I loved Thin Lizzy what a tight outfit they were, also back then I listened to Ted Nugent, Aerosmith, ACDC, Queen, Bowie, The Cars, Black Sabbath, Rush, Bad Company, Journey, Pink Floyd, Heart, ZZ Top, UFO, Foghat, Cheap Trick just to name a few, well maybe more than a few.
@@stevekirby5546 Ha ha! Thanks, pal. Always good to know there’s other people like me out there! Thanks for filling in the other bands I forgot to mention. I had a similar experience when I first saw Aerosmith’s first album in ‘76. They looked like the teens at the park smoking weed. I thought that was so damn cool. Here’s to the good ole days!
@@johnnapier1892 Those good ole days, brings back memories of being a Kiss fan and other kids knowing that in High School. We got made fun of for being Kiss fans, it was like a cult, there were only a few of us, our own little clic. We all collected everything Kiss, the albums, magazines, Kiss bubble gum cards, tour books, Kiss radio, we all made scrap books out of pictures we cut from magazines. Back in the 70's magazine companies would release an entire magazine with nothing but Kiss, I would buy Two and use One for the scrap books, I saw Kiss on their Alive II tour in Cleveland back in 78, then once in the mid 80's no makeup in San Diego CA, then again in 96 on their reunion tour in San Diego.
KISS Meets The Phantom is one of the greatest comedies of all time...I love that movie! They need to release a remastered version with all cut footage in the extras...that would be awesome!
I actually still have a real production VHS tape of that movie in my collection of Rock / metal stuff in my music room 😊 about 15 years ago my friend Kim knew I was a KISS fan so she gave it to me as a 🥳 Birthday present 🎁 😊 and I do still have a VHS / DVD combo machine and a compatible TV . I’m gonna have to put that on next weekend it’s been ages since I’ve seen it ! 😊
It was hilarious!!! That's when Peter and Ace were cashing out mentally, they were done with all the bullshit by that time!!! Sadly, because they were the best two by far!!!
I saw Kiss in 1974 in Spokane Washington. They were the opening act for Savoy Brown and Manfred Mann. They totally Rock the place and did about four encores. Everybody wanted more but kiss said they had to let the other bands perform. When they were done, half of the people left because there was no way the other bands could come close to what we had just witnessed. I will always cherish that concert.
Much is made of the fact that they weren't expert musicians, but I think they were always exactly as good as their material required them to be. And they did get better. Gene's descending bass lines on Rock and Roll All Nite are actually really cool. Ace's solo on Got To Choose is one of many where he amplifies and ties the whole song together. Paul matching Ace's phrasing and vibrato so precisely when they did harmony leads is also really nice. It's two Les Pauls into a bunch of Marshalls, what's not to like? Peter's quarter note highhat groove on Firehouse feels good to me. Their vocal harmonies were solid. These are all old tricks but they're executed well. They weren't gonna scare Mahavishnu Orchestra, but they were just fine.
Born in 63 and loved harder rock. When these guys came along I was loving it! I had all the albums the belt buckle, posters etc....but the end came for me and my friends when the solo albums and the disco influence took place. Once Ace and Peter were gone then so were we and off too Judas Priest, Ted Nugent etc....never looked back and Kiss would never again reach the popularity they had that came from the early HUNGRY FOR SUCCESS albums.....
My dad saw Kiss in '74 at a college auditorium when the band was still relatively unknown. He told me he just laughed, because their makeup looked horrible. My dad didn't think much of them in '74. Little did he know they'd be so huge within a year or two. :-)
This is one of my all-time favorite documentaries. Only because all four original members contributed to this. Not JUST Gene and Paul with their revisionist memories.
At the end of the 90's KISS was playing our local amphitheatre in Marysville, CA. I was older and it was going to be my last concert. I did it the old skool way. I had a friend drop me off at the gate and I hitched home after the concert. My last blast. My best friend who would have gone had just died.
😱 How awesome to hear everyone talking about each aspect. Hearing Anton Fig talking about his part of Kisstory was terrific 👍. The thing I love about this documentary is the history about the early formation. Not the negative Peter would never do this and both Ace and Peter did drugs to help them throw away everything we worked for. Its hard to accept that it might be true but even harder to read.
I am a big fan of KISS back in 5th grade a time most kids collected toys and other stuff I was collecting KISS LP's and cassette tapes when I was 11 years old. Thank you very much for the memories of my elementary years God bless you.
Same here. To be a kid in the 70’s was just the best. It was incredible…the magazines…the records…and when they were on television, holy crap was that an event for a 5,6,7 year old like me. And the dream of portraying Peter just took it over the top for me. Kids today will never know that feeling. It was just an amazing time.
My brother (5 years younger) would wake up crying in the night because of all my KISS posters. I feel bad about it now...NOT! I'm 60 now. He still gives me crap about it. WOW...the 70s.
Hey Thomas, I feel ya brother, my younger sister wouldn't come in my room because of the KISS paraphernalia ,lol. At the time I didn't believe she was actually scared , now at 62 I am sorry for it. It was like me and 3 other guys who liked KISS , out of my entire high school, now you talk to people and they say , Oh yeah I've always listened to KISS . That's hard to believe when I was one of the few who got put down for wearing the t-shirts and belt buckles, lol. By 1979 I took all the stuff down , and started to broaden my musical horizons. I had gotten tired of the hype , and I was always into all kinds of music anyway, I sold my drums and bought a guitar. Anyway I did see them live in 1977 , loved the energy and theatrics, still like to play the old KISS songs. Thanks for the memories brother, Brother Gary
I've always heard that KISS, Alice Cooper, and Ozzy scared the crap out of kids in the 70's. For me it was Marilyn Manson especially around 96, but after I realized he wasn't really a devil worshipping pedophile I grew to really love his music.
@@winnienguyen4420 I have been to many concerts but the one I am most proud of is KISS. It was in Atlanta GA, The Omni, December 30 1977 , The Alive II Show. Cool show, I had missed them in 1976 so I was determined to see them in 77. Give me your story of a great concert you saw. Thanks,, keep rocking brothers and sisters ✌️🤘 Brother Gary
I like the way that a couple of the narrators gently acknowledge, "They weren't very good musicians." KISS was a living illustration of the value of really excellent showmanship. You can write forgettable, simple tunes and still become a star if you know how to put on a good show.
15th November 1980… VFL Park Melbourne, Australia. Travelled with my bestie from Hobart, Tasmania. We were both 17 years old. This was my 18th birthday present. We thought we were sooooo special. The air fare, accommodation & ticket package turned out that we were staying at the same hotel as the band 😂😂😂 Did we think we were special. We had a special pass that allowed us to enter the hotel….. fans on the street 24 hours a day. Ended up making our way to the front row (no seating numbers). They walked on stage and I was gob smacked for about a minute. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. Then I had the most amazing time with my bestie in the front row of a KISS concert. My bestie & I are now 61 years old. The thing I ask is don’t think of us older generations to be old cronies in the world of music. Think…. KISS, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd… David Bowie, Rolling Stones, Queen…. what a great time to be alive. No I don’t want to go back and reminisce about the old times…. Which I do when I want to listen to music from my early years…. I also like contemporary music of the 2020’s. Sorry a bit carried away…. But this doco brought me back to an amazing time of my life.
My friend introduced me to kiss with the hotter than hell album.. the year or so later KISS ALIVE came out.. AND THE FREAKING WORLD STOOD STILL!!!!!!! I continuously played that album on my 8-track blasting out of my car at our local hangout which was a large Beach parking lot in Norwalk Connecticut.. there were hundreds and hundreds of kids partying down there every summer night and you heard kiss blasting from many speakers.. some of the best times
@@isaboteur2562 atleast you witnessed the reunion tour im 22 and ive seen ace 2 times and the end of the road tour once would like to see all original 4 atleast on night 2 of MSG
This was well worth the wait. Awesome to hear a documentary about KISS with all four of the originals. To hear the story from Peter and Ace was a blast. Know I want to read Ace's book,- No regrets - to tie everything together. Info from Bill Aucoin was fantastic too. God bless VH1.
I saw Kiss at Kemper Arena in KC and it is still the best concert that I ever been to. What blew me away in just down the row there was a lady about 70 or 80 token on a joint and listening to Kiss.
Wow Dynasty...absolutely hated it. Disco KISS? But just like most fans I came to respect the writing and Ace is STILL awesome. I really miss the original four!
The 1996 KISS reunion tour was my first concert ever at 8 years old and my brother 7 in Indianapolis, IN. I will never forget that show and thank my dad for taking my brother and I and passing on the music gene. We just saw Ace again last Friday in Anderson, IN which was a great show!
KISS in1974 taken the world by Strom I am a very old rocker and RUSH was my band until KISS came ever since 1974 I send KISS they are the band KISS was everything to me I love them always and forever and I still jam to them
This Doc brings back such great memories! Not just the band and their music but that era! Only others that were really young back then can understand what i mean by that! 🤘
Saw KISS for the first time as a 16 year old in 1976 Sydney . Then Saw them in Melbourne with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and now going to the the 2 concerts in Sydney in November and December.
I have been a fan my entire life, the older I got the better the tickets I could afford. I am going to miss them when they finally stop touring. Highlight was front row center stage, Gene handed me a.pick.
It's called the music BUSINESS for a reason. There may be a few famous musicians who are in it for musical integrity but most do it for the fame and fortune.
A couple weeks ago, before hearing any of their songs, I brought a Kiss magazine from the grocery store. After reading it I was hooked. I bought posters, lunchboxes, and just yesterday I bought my first Kiss album. I can't believe I wasn't introduced to them sooner, talk about failed parenting haha.
Love the Cadillac Michigan Highschool football story and The Kiss marching band poster. I was in elementary school and have stayed a Kiss fan ever since. Those are fond memories
I think it was awesome that Peter got to sing Beth in front of his parents at the garden!!! I also, loved that the reunion on MTV awards show, they played under the Brooklyn Bridge and my boy Peter is from Brooklyn!!! Thanks
Nice to say ..... I was 15 and I was THERE ! Destroyer , Alive 2 ( with AC/ DC ) , Rock n Roll Over and Dynasty . I saw over 150 concerts in my life and Alive 2 was in the top 20 .
I was too young to see them when I was little, but I saw them the first show on their reunion show at MSG. It was the best event I’ve ever been to. It was just so charged and everyone was excited.
I grew up in the 70-80s and kiss was the best shows I went to and I’ve been to a lot. The show was better than the music but the music was necessary for the show as well. Great time to be young.
My walls were plastered with Kiss pictures from magazines, posters etc. I was a huge fan! The first time I got to see them was on the Dynasty tour. They sucked so bad I tore down all my pics and was done with KISS! What were they thinking to put out crap like that? The opening acts New England and Cheap Trick blew them off the stage! I was devastated!
I was born in 75, so I didn't really get into KISS until around the Lick It Up era. I loved a lot of the stuff I heard from then through Revenge, but I went back to check out the classic stuff I missed too. I saw them on the Revenge tour and I saw them open the reunion tour in Detroit at Tigers Stadium. I've had some ups and downs with their studio output since then, but they've always been a big part of my life.
1976. I was twelve years old and starting seventh grade in a new school, new town. My older brother and sisters were all listening to Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Sabbath, and Peter Frampton. Definitely great bands. Then a guy in my class turned me on to Kiss. I was hooked instantly. For almost three years they were the be all and end all for me. Then came Dynasty. My friends and I were all like what in the actual f**k is this?!? That was it. I followed them for a couple of more years just out of sheer morbid curiosity only to watch them fall on their faces. When Creatures came out in 82, I knew it was too little, too late. Unfortunate, because that’s actually one of their best studio releases.
We had a flame blowing drummer at 15 years old! Our concert was the entire KISS alive album. He used lighter fluid and swallowed a whole mouthful. It just pissed him off and he did it again! HUGE flame that landed on the junior high stage while we were finishing firehouse! Me and the bass player never stopped! We just kept playing and running around the stage stomping the flames out!🤣 This was at a junior high dance!😂 We took a break and drank more beer. No hospitals for us! OMG those were the days ☝🏻😎
I only got to meet Gene once in Niagara Falls, he was promoting his cola (and all proceeds of that day went to military causes) when I talked to him he sincerely and genuinely cared about me . I was totally impressed

First 3 albums didn't sell well, but they were very good albums!!! The original album, Black Diamond, Strutter, Deuce, and Cold Gin!!!! They didn't get there due respect, it is still one of my favorite 3 albums, literally!!!!!!
Well, you are right kinda!!! Alive obviously took the world by storm, but the original album is underrated and underappreciated!!! I mean Black Diamond is in my opinion their best song 🎵 ever, because they all shine on that with their unique musical talents of each musician!!! From Paul's intro to Peter lead vocals and Ace solo!!!
Everyone loves what once was, that's why when they got back together it gave Everyone something to get happy over again, i saw them in 2000 it was awesome, the only kiss i love is the one i get on my Johnson and the original kiss from the 70's 96-03
Gene’s autobiography is an audiobook. What a great listen and his story is incredible. His focus and belief he could do it is inspiring. Now he’s even a resteruanteer.
Kiss is not the most popular band nowadays cause not many people litsen to rock but if the original 4 step out together, every kiss fan ever will bring that band back
In this documentary Peter said he wanted a break. To me, thats a fair call. Perhaps thats what kiss should have done. Have a 12 month break to freshen up. Sadly, that didn't happen.
Peter was my favorite drummer ever and band member, he definitely had the right character though, Catman 9 lives!!! He partied hard and wrecked expensive cars and definitely lived up to his persona!!! Lol 🤣
He was absolutely great, but Peter is my favorite drummer ever, loved both they are different type of drummer, Peter has a jungle rhythm and jazz filled riffs and unique style and incorporated it into Rock and Roll and Eric Carr god rest his soul was a metal hit the drums 🥁 hard like Frankie Banalli from Quiot Riot type drummer!!! Both great and amazing!!!
I kiss for the first time on there 96 reunion tour at Donnington monsters of rock festival! That was a great show! Seeing them nowadays still going long after they should of retired is sad 😢 Especially without ace and peter!

1976 in Memphis, Tn KISS was my first concert and the warm up band was AC/DC of course we had never heard of them but we were not there to see them we wanted KISS.
I got hooked on KISS when hearing the Kiss Alive !! album and now I do have every album they have made Thank You KISS.
My first album too
Mine too. Spring of 77
The thing is a fact, Peter was the only one who was truly Alive, they didn't have to edit or dub anything from the Catman!!!@
Still my one fave band after 42+ years... Timeless!
39 years for me
Timelessly boring🥱
Ace has always been open about his demons I admire him for that
Peter as well
Yea thats admirable
My first concert back in 1977. Still have their Double Platinum album, :-). Cheers.🎸🏍
No.
I was there.
Filmed at Magic Mountain.
It was hilarious!!! That's when Peter and Ace were cashing out mentally, they were done with all the bullshit by that time!!! Sadly, because they were the best two by far!!!
Enjoyed it .. Ace and Peter forever
This is a great documentary. KISS really is a band that will never be duplicated. They're fkn awesome!!
"were"
Thank God we will never see anything like that again.
Only the original lineup is amazing!!! Peter and Ace were the real heart and soul and talent in Kiss!!!
I saw Kiss and Savoy Brown in Anchorage Alaska in 1974 same tour maybe?

Agreed!!! 🤘😜
My dad saw Kiss in '74 at a college auditorium when the band was still relatively unknown. He told me he just laughed, because their makeup looked horrible. My dad didn't think much of them in '74. Little did he know they'd be so huge within a year or two. :-)
That's a lie
@@wildestcowboy2668 Your name is a lie
Proud to be a part of this at the time. Yes, KISS Ruled the World!
Garbage band!!
😂😂😂😂
Ruled America maybe.
The world? Nah, not really.
Thanks for the memories brother,
Brother Gary
That’s funny! I was scared of Gene as a little kid
Born 1966
I've always heard that KISS, Alice Cooper, and Ozzy scared the crap out of kids in the 70's. For me it was Marilyn Manson especially around 96, but after I realized he wasn't really a devil worshipping pedophile I grew to really love his music.
@@winnienguyen4420 I have been to many concerts but the one I am most proud of is KISS. It was in Atlanta GA, The Omni, December 30 1977 , The Alive II Show. Cool show, I had missed them in 1976 so I was determined to see them in 77. Give me your story of a great concert you saw.
Thanks,, keep rocking brothers and sisters ✌️🤘

Alive is one of the best albums ever made.
I like the way that a couple of the narrators gently acknowledge, "They weren't very good musicians."
KISS was a living illustration of the value of really excellent showmanship. You can write forgettable, simple tunes and still become a star if you know how to put on a good show.
And don't forget wear outlandish outfiits and put on a bunch of clown makeup.
One thing about them I admire about them is they knew what they were.
They have a few memorable tunes
Ace could play, the other guys...ehh
Joel - I actually think somewhat opposite.....they were better than people thought
My good friend Jason is a KISS fanatic !
Grown man follows them from town to town and loves every minute of it ! !
I was 12 when Alive I came out. Unless you lived it, you can’t comprehend how big they were. They really did rule the world.
Forty three years later and my ears are still ringing from the Sydney gig. Melodious volumous maximus!
I'm 44. Being born in 79 I missed all of that which gives me a little fomo.
Btw I'm from Rhode Island...one state away lol
@@isaboteur2562 atleast you witnessed the reunion tour im 22 and ive seen ace 2 times and the end of the road tour once would like to see all original 4 atleast on night 2 of MSG
This was well worth the wait. Awesome to hear a documentary about KISS with all four of the originals. To hear the story from Peter and Ace was a blast. Know I want to read Ace's book,- No regrets - to tie everything together. Info from Bill Aucoin was fantastic too. God bless VH1.
Rock concerts have to be spectacular, that's what people want to see and hear. Lights, loud music and pyrotechnics. That's what Kiss did.
A true band that cares for the fans and doesn’t half ass it.
No.
Perfect peeing in their ear.
I saw Kiss at Kemper Arena in KC and it is still the best concert that I ever been to. What blew me away in just down the row there was a lady about 70 or 80 token on a joint and listening to Kiss.
KISS was my first concert, I saw them with Cheap Trick. I was 12 yrs old. They are still my favorite band. ❤️😎
Saw the same show, I wa 11
This was done really well. Been looking for the complete version….thanks!!!
Watching this before my first KISS concert in Berlin 2023 Got me hyped (along with the whiskey)👌
This was The 1st concert I ever went to back in 75 or 76 They blew me away
When I was made for loving you first came out I absolutely hated it but over the years it's grown on me and now it's one of my favorite KISS songs.
Same, I've grown to respect this album more and more over the last 25++ years
Wow Dynasty...absolutely hated it. Disco KISS? But just like most fans I came to respect the writing and Ace is STILL awesome. I really miss the original four!
Wow crazy. That one and C'mon and Love Me are easily my 2 favorite songs from KISS. I can't believe there's people who actually hate that song.
Almost every rock band did a disco type song in that era
Hardest song to sing
I love this documentary!!
It always bugged me that they got Peter and Gene’s background colors mixed up during the interview segments (Catman=green... Demon=red)
Grew up listening to KISS, have see them twice in Australia 🇦🇺🎵🇦🇺🎵🇦🇺🎵🇦🇺🎵🇦🇺🎵🇦🇺🎵
Saw KISS for the first time as a 16 year old in 1976 Sydney .
Then Saw them in Melbourne with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and now going to the the 2 concerts in Sydney in November and December.
Things u don't admit^^^
They saw you too.
I have been a fan my entire life, the older I got the better the tickets I could afford. I am going to miss them when they finally stop touring. Highlight was front row center stage, Gene handed me a.pick.
The fans are the most important for any band.
you mean customers. they are important to any business, and KISS was always just a business.
The best Band of the World.....KISS❤❤❤
really great rock group. i have their albums preserved. i play it out loud!!!
I think it was awesome that Peter got to sing Beth in front of his parents at the garden!!! I also, loved that the reunion on MTV awards show, they played under the Brooklyn Bridge and my boy Peter is from Brooklyn!!! Thanks
Ace was the sound that put the drive to win over the top
0:34 gotta love Ace
A risada de Ace é impagável. Ele muito divertido e um dos melhores guitarrista.
I agree!!! That's why Peter and Ace absolutely hated do the Dynasty album!!! Peter and Ace said, this fuckin disco bullshit!!!!!!
Peter and Ace Yes, the greatest. Now this is the real Kiss.
Agreed, no Peter or Ace, no Kiss!!!!
28 years old been a kiss fan for a very long time. So sad to see the band actually retire.
Kiss is the reason that I have wanted to become a Rockstar...and now we may be on our way...

Gotta give it up for JR and Moose. Credit where credit's due and all that :-)

First 3 albums didn't sell well, but they were very good albums!!! The original album, Black Diamond, Strutter, Deuce, and Cold Gin!!!! They didn't get there due respect, it is still one of my favorite 3 albums, literally!!!!!!
100,000 Years , Firehouse also off that first album ! 👍
Great songs but lacked the energy of the live record
Well, you are right kinda!!! Alive obviously took the world by storm, but the original album is underrated and underappreciated!!! I mean Black Diamond is in my opinion their best song 🎵 ever, because they all shine on that with their unique musical talents of each musician!!! From Paul's intro to Peter lead vocals and Ace solo!!!
Everyone loves what once was, that's why when they got back together it gave Everyone something to get happy over again, i saw them in 2000 it was awesome, the only kiss i love is the one i get on my Johnson and the original kiss from the 70's 96-03

Eric Carr was my all time favorite drummer in Kiss
He was absolutely great, but Peter is my favorite drummer ever, loved both they are different type of drummer, Peter has a jungle rhythm and jazz filled riffs and unique style and incorporated it into Rock and Roll and Eric Carr god rest his soul was a metal hit the drums 🥁 hard like Frankie Banalli from Quiot Riot type drummer!!!
