Apart from my 7 backpacking pro tips, what other ideas do you have?
Something to sit on, especially in winter. Closed cell foam mat, weighs very little, can be a life saver. Used mine on Saturday for a long wait in the snow.

Great video Barry, I loved the last addiction tip at the end. Blue has been shown to attract sandflies so can be good to avoid in clothing.
Thanks Lynette. Yes, I agree, you’ve got to have a steady flow of trips you have planned, as there’s always excuses as to why we can’t get out there. I’ll keep that in mind too about blue. Or, simply camp high to avoid sandflies. 😀 Hope you’re well. All the best.
