    Welcome back to TheDriveGuyde where I have the keys to 2019 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid LE! This is, unbelievably, my first experience with the all-new RAV4 in any form. The Hybrid has many advantages over its purely gasoline sibling with a minimal price increase so let's break down the new RAV4!

    I got myself the XSE hybrid model and this car is serving me well as a family crossover SUV ~

    New Rav4 is very tight around corners, I was very impressed. Had a blast driving one.

    Thanks Max, your reviews are getting better all the time, and as always concentrating on the things buyers want to know :-)

    Toyota did a great job with the 5th gen redesign! I already own a 2019 RAV4 Adventure, but I'm contemplating buying an LE Hybrid in the future as my second car for long trips!

      I would rethink this (not the car but rather When to use What). Use your petrol version for longer trips and the hybrid for shorter, you will save the most then. They hybrid wont save you anything on highway driving, its in the city that is coming into its own.

      WTF IS YOUR ADVENTURE FOR IF NOT LONG TRIPS! OMG! DUDE. ITS A 4 INLINE. ITLL SAVE YOU 3$ a tank.

      @@frostythesnowman5133 my Rav4 hybrid gets way better gas mileage even on the highway especially with the low speed limits on Canadian highways. If you go over 120 kph on the highway I would agree that there is very little gained on the hybrid. With a mixture of city and 80 to 90 kph highway driving I'll usually get 45 and 55 mpg (Imperial). Strictly city driving I'll get 55 to 60 during spring/summer driving. I drive mostly in eco mode as it still has plenty of power even in that mode.

    I like it. If I (still) lived in Canada I would get the hybrid.

    My sister has a Rav 4 and loves it. Good review.
    BTW, I would sometimes pull over drivers wearing a toque inside a vehicle, to make sure they hadn’t stolen the vehicle or were driving without a licence. Surprising how many driving while prohibited wore toques.🇨🇦

      I live in cold northern Ontario and I never ever feel the need to drive with a toque on..... just my opinion. lol

    The LE Hybrid has to be one of the most reasonable choices in today's market and the fact many are built in Canada is a bonus. Has Toyota made the 17" alloy wheels an option in the 2020 Hybrid LE? They were standard equipment in 2019.

    • @Nahhmah
      @Nahhmah 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They are standard.

    Anyone else notice the rav4 passenger seat is set so high that one can’t get in with out ducking otherwise hit head? I checked it out at dealer yesterday, it’s appalling Toyota would make it that way! Stupid design! Check it out Max. Tell us your observation.

    • @maxlandireviews
      @maxlandireviews  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s something I overlook as I have to duck down for 95% of the cars I test out

      TheDriveGuyde I understand Max. However do you agree the seat is a problem? I’m puzzled as to why Toyota would make such a ridiculous design on an otherwise nice vehicle.
