- HOW WE DECORATED OUR ENGLISH COUNTRY BEDROOM// Happy Tuesday everyone, We are beyond thrilled to finally share our (almost) finished master bedroom and hope you like it! We start by making the bed super cosy and comfortable, then hang our curtains, pictures (buying antiques has become a huge part in our lives) and so much more. It was so much fun to create this dreamy room which suits the character and vibe of the whole house. We wanted to create in an English traditional style and used many English fabrics. None of the products mentioned was sponsored but we thought we would share and mention the things we bought in case you're planning something new or a makeover and are looking for some inspiration. I love how you two, together, carefully, thoughtfully, hunt for and select each item that you buy or find as a special treasure for your home. You two create "heirloom" rooms, filled lovingly with your personalities. You dont let a stranger "professional decorator" come in and dictate the latest styles or tastes of others....you create a truely individual home, not a fake magazine photo shoot look-a-like. I think you both have such great taste and blend your favorite items so well! Your home isnt "his" or "her" style...it is "your" both tastes and style. Lovely and OUTSTANDING QUALITY!

To cudowne, że udało się Wam kiedyś odnaleźć wsrod tysięcy mijanych ludzi. Tak bardzo pasujecie do siebie... ta sama wrażliwość, upodobania, zainteresowania. Naprawdę nie jest tak łatwo znaleźć "bratnią duszę", nie zgubić jej i stworzyć zgodny związek.
A Wasz dom jest idealnym dopełnieniem Waszego związku bo tworzycie go razem.
Lubię oglądać Wasze filmy gdyż mam podobne upodobania. Lubię przedmioty, ubiory i architekturę XIX wieku i sama trochę kolekcjonuję piękne, stare przedmioty. Wasze filmy są też inspiracją dla mnie.

I was a hour from home when I got the notification of your new upload! I couldn't wait to come straight home, make a pot of Hazelnut coffee and enjoy! I must say, I don't see it often but that is a perfectly made bed ! Absolutely inviting, romantic and in true Kirsten style.....classic! The whole room, all the touches and accents.....just beautiful! Bravo you two! Ok, now....I'm still having trouble mixing patterns in a room. Kirsten and Joerg, a beautiful Master retreat. My fave things: The mirror (amazing Video), the white linens, the chest of drawers AND the pic of you both. Again, just so lovely!
Watching you make the bed I remembered the way we make the bed for newly weds here in Canada. The bottom sheet is folded in the middle and brought to the top. The rest of the sheets and blankets are put in the right way.
When the newly weds go to bed they will not notice the bottom sheet, so they find that their feet will not go to the bottom.
This was called a French made bed. Oolala ❤
My mother is British and the way in which you both speak to one another is so like Mum. Very polite and courteous.🌷

Your bedroom is already gorgeous! You have an eye for what works. It has a serene "stepping back in time" feel to it, and it must be so nice waking up to the sunlight coming in through the windows. Those tassels are "my cup of tea". Love that you're including pictures of yourselves in those handsome Georgian costumes!

Our forever home is in the Wild West of Wyoming, USA. We will be moving there in a few years. Can't wait to do the decor. I have some very old quilts that I plan on using as backdrops for all our beds.
