Great dog with good social behavior. I used to have 1 Pit Bull, 1labrador, 1Retriever 2 yorkies and 1 cockatiel. One big family and the bird would walk in the kitchen between them while all had dinner. No growling no nothing to each other. One night guys try to attack me. In the dark they did not see my black Retriever , 120 pounds , who jumped at 1 guy and bit in his leg till he was on the ground. My white Lab was hanging with her teeth on the next guy. My Pit Bull was sitting and watching the scene . I am, 65 years and female never taught them to attack. That was out of Love and loyalty.
Yes, dogs will always protect the person who feeds them and regularly takes them ridies/walkies/beachies. Bless you and all your animals, and I hope you are always able to give animals a good home : )
Of course I love the pups....but honestly, I love even more the kindness, love and caring of the owner that makes me think human beings are still worth while. Animals help make me a better human being every day of my life.
Saw a BULL mastiff @ the vets one day on a massive scale, I thought it was a heffer. That was one BIG ASS DOG. SO BIG, the owner had a truck & a big ramp to transport him. Must have lived in a castle. He was big & beautiful. Gotta love dogs!!!! man he was as big as a couch!
That little dog was running away from the Mastiff. Probably thought that the big dog was going to eat it! I know that it wouldn't. You are a good dog parent!☺️ 🐶🐾

I can well appreciate his love of the dog. I had a canary mastiff named Drifter, she passed on Nov. 16/17 still see pictures of a double on the canary mastiff page and still cry buckets when I see that look alike. There is nothing like a mastiff.
I lost my baby 2 years ago and I swear to god I think about her every day and still cry sometimes...her name was Lucky she was not just a pet she was my best friend and my family I loved her so much and I know y’all will get what I mean when I say I’d literally die just to pet her again
I got 2 boxmas puppies very smart and sweet. They like being outside and going for rides. They're 18 weeks old and they do what I tell them to do. Great Puppies.
Him sitting on your lap, reminded me of a time I was sitting in front of the coffee shop across the street from my shop. I saw a honda civic pull up right in front and it was sagging in the right rear. I knew the owners and their Newfoundland was in the back. When she got out, held the door open the car rose by a good 2 inches. I knew the dog and said "hey you big puppy" and he took his cue....he lunged, straddled me, knocked me off the bench and proceeded to lick me to death.....he really was a HUGE puppy at heart....I was 180 at the time and I think they said he was over 200 but don't quote me on that. I bring this up because Apollo seems the same way, 200 lbs but thinks he's a 20 lbs shih tzu lol.....
Funny how often owners and pets look alike wonderful I love animals to all pets owners thanks for loving them it says a lot about a person's character..
He looks just like our st Bernard/english mastiff mix. Same colors, same sleep running jimmy legs. Same sweet disposition. Also the "cone of shame", lol.
My last big dog was a 140lb Rotti. He was so calm, under most any condition. He lived to be 13 years old. He had a heart condition in his last year'! When he had to go to doggy heaven, he took a part of me with him. I'd love to find a bull Mastiff, even if mixed with other breeds, especially Rottweiler, mix.. Such strength, power and above all, intelligent and loving. Apollo reminds me of when I had Buddybear. Very cool, fun video. Thanks 🖒😊
Its so hard having to part with pets. I spoke to a priest once (i'm not religious) and he said dogs only live about ten years bc if it was the other way around they would not have anyone to take care of them so whoever created them made sure that we as humans can enjoy about 7 dogs in our lifetime and when we are nearing our own sunset were assured that our furry friends wont be so far behind.. Kinda nice the way he put it and he owned dogs too.
