Great video! I learned just a bit about Jade due to exhibiting at the Tucson Gem Show for some 30 years...and we had some "neighbors" with Jade offering. And they always told us: the Deep Green is the most desirable.
But the comparison of translucency, inclusions, cloudiness and other traits makes this video quite extensive in helping understand the desirable features.
Very cool, this is the only place I've seen with info about retail pricing of jadeite cabs in the US.
I can’t tell ya how this short and sweet info was needed tonight! The timing almost borders on eerie, found a vintage brooch AND a ring this week; the pin from an honest seller states it’s cabochon is green Czech glass, but the ring’s cab needs a lot more investigation + a heaping dose of skepticism - thank you for helping..

@@Anatoliys_Adventure they're real. I stumbled here because I was watching a chinese youtube channel where they literally buy random looking rocks for like 50k to cut open and take out the tiny bits of jade that might have been inside to sell for like 100k.

Do you know if it’s natural? If it’s not treated, you can compare it to products listed online to see if there’s anything similar to give you idea of value. Try looking at companies like Mason-Kay and Baikalla, they have natural product and fair pricing
